I recommend watching Tomorrows Pioneers: it's a really good show
So, as I'm sure you have noticed, Ireland is green again. And with another green patch, too, which I don't plan to keep. However, to start, I applaud all of you for your hard work in retaking our regions. It has definitely been something long awaited and it is brilliant to see people active and still ready for a fight. But weapons down, I've signed a NAP that I presented to my cabinet before signing and we all agreed this is the best deal for Ireland and the United Kingdom. And the United Kingdom seemed to agree too.. well, atleast those who're in the government.
The primary objective of this war was to regain our regions and that was it. It was not to further on and to strike through the United Kingdom, no, it was to regain our regions and settle for peace when it could be obtained. I did not want for anything else, hence why I didn't continue on to Scotland/Wales and I don't plan to do so. We are doing well for a country, but we shouldn't be trying to make enemies, instead, friends. And I hope that is what this NAP does that we have agreed on.
Sure, a majority of the UK voted for conquering us in their referendum. Heck, some constantly shout and scream "WE NEED TO RETAKE IRELAND!" (looking at you, kamalidiot) but still, I do not wish to press on. I can see why you may be angry at that: they've occupied us for months, why don't we go and humiliate them? Because that's not going to have a positive impact on our foreign relations, more of a negative impact. And we, Ireland, shouldn't be looking to humiliate nations because in a few months time, if we had humiliated them, they may well might strike us back. The NAP was made with that in mind: we are not here to take anything from them, we are not here to act like butthurt ccks (I'm censoring my words because the article will be removed if I didn't), we started the war to retake our regions and now that is achieved, we aim for peace.
Sure, we did apply to OMEGA, and we was accepted to be pro-OMEGA. But I had to choose one option and that option was to get out regions back with the friends we have made. And we'll surely be paying them back in some way, without question. Heck, we'll be paying back the US very shortly
. But, let us focus on the future of Ireland, a wealthy nation with good allies and activity. We couldn't do that occupied. But now, the opportunities are there for you to make use of. Let's make it happen.

Now, onto Irish things:
Home Affairs
I have requested for a Minister of Home Affairs and currently I am in discussions with one person who I hope to appoint today. It is time we got back on the right track, Ireland. I hope we can start to bring more citizens here now that we are free and try to interest people in the game. Sure, it's hard for a country of our stature to do, but with hard work it can definitely be achieved. Once the Minister is appointed, I hope to stir activity into Ireland and organise competitions, events and keep people interested. If you still want to apply however, the more the merrier! Any ideas too, PM me them. I'm around on IRC quite a fair bit, and that is definitely something you should use to talk to other players. It's nice to speak to people, and definitely spurs more activity into Ireland if citizens keep talking to eachother, whether it be on the shoutfeed, articles or IRC.
Military
We are hoping to setup a supply channel that will be running supply for important battles, or ones we value as being important. I will be shouting it, but there will most likely be supply on #MoDIreland when battle orders are set on Morrigu Preachain, which by the way is free to join. Just send an application in and get a 10% bonus on all Irish and allied battles! . We definitely will be looking to strengthen up our military in any way possible, and hey, maybe even obtain Q5 gifts in the process of doing it for our Elite Military Unit, which will equal very good supply for our members. If you have any queries about the military, shoot me a PM and I'll try and answer to the best of my abilities.
The Economy
I have appointed someone else to the Minister of Economics since Tommy has been having some real life issues and we hope to get more people in Shannon and working. We are fixing our monetary market as of current and we're aiming to make a swift recovery. Articles shall be produced to hopefully attract citizens from around e-Sim to Ireland to work. But it's going to need the cooperation of Irish citizens too, keeping the product market up and with essential goods for those to buy with their wages. I hope you can all chip in with what you have, it'll definitely help us out.
To conclude..
We hope you are happy with the NAP. Any complaints, PM to me and I shall handle it. Now is the time to rebuild a foundation for Ireland and to make Ireland stronger then it ever has been. We may of been occupied for months, but now is not the time to focus on the past, we are now here to focus on the present, to a greater, even larger Ireland then it ever has achieved. We hope we can focus on building relations with the United Kingdom, and I hope you feel that I have achieved the best possible outcome possible for Ireland. For now, have fun. About the game:
USA as a world power? In E-Sim it is possible!
In E-Sim we have a huge, living world, which is a mirror copy of the Earth. Well, maybe not completely mirrored, because the balance of power in this virtual world looks a bit different than in real life. In E-Sim, USA does not have to be a world superpower, It can be efficiently managed as a much smaller country that has entrepreneurial citizens that support it's foundation. Everything depends on the players themselves and how they decide to shape the political map of the game.
Work for the good of your country and see it rise to an empire.
Activities in this game are divided into several modules. First is the economy as a citizen in a country of your choice you must work to earn money, which you will get to spend for example, on food or purchase of weapons which are critical for your progress as a fighter. You will work in either private companies which are owned by players or government companies which are owned by the state. After progressing in the game you will finally get the opportunity to set up your own business and hire other players. If it prospers, we can even change it into a joint-stock company and enter the stock market and get even more money in this way.
In E-Sim, international wars are nothing out of the ordinary.
Become an influential politician.
The second module is a politics. Just like in real life politics in E-Sim are an extremely powerful tool that can be used for your own purposes. From time to time there are elections in the game in which you will not only vote, but also have the ability to run for the head of the party you're in. You can also apply for congress, where once elected you will be given the right to vote on laws proposed by your fellow congress members or your president and propose laws yourself. Voting on laws is important for your country as it can shape the lives of those around you. You can also try to become the head of a given party, and even take part in presidential elections and decide on the shape of the foreign policy of a given state (for example, who to declare war on). Career in politics is obviously not easy and in order to succeed in it, you have to have a good plan and compete for the votes of voters.
You can go bankrupt or become a rich man while playing the stock market.
The international war.
The last and probably the most important module is military. In E-Sim, countries are constantly fighting each other for control over territories which in return grant them access to more valuable raw materials. For this purpose, they form alliances, they fight international wars, but they also have to deal with, for example, uprisings in conquered countries or civil wars, which may explode on their territory. You can also take part in these clashes, although you are also given the opportunity to lead a life as a pacifist who focuses on other activities in the game (for example, running a successful newspaper or selling products).
At the auction you can sell or buy your dream inventory.
E-Sim is a unique browser game. It's creators ensured realistic representation of the mechanisms present in the real world and gave all power to the players who shape the image of the virtual Earth according to their own. So come and join them and help your country achieve its full potential.
