This guide will help you learn how to start your first company and how to manage it. In our example, we will use a company making weapons, mainly because Poland has a HIGH iron region (core region).
2. Where to start you company:
Remember that it is best to establish a company in a region where the resource you want is at the HIGH level. The quickest way to check where that is, is the minimap; a small legend will appear in the corner after you mark the region with your cursor.
Once you have spotted the region, you need to go there (unless you’re already there; in that case you don’t need to travel anywhere); to do that, choose the TRAVEL option in the panel, and then choose POLAND and SILESIA (which is where the Polish iron deposits are). You can choose between several types of tickets, and it’s up to you which you will use. Remember though that a Q1 ticket consumes 50hp, while Q5 takes 0hp; your choice will depend on how thick your wallet is.
3. How to start a company:
Enter the MY PLACES tab and select COMPANIES.
Fill in all the fields in the table below.
1. Company Name – here you enter the name of your company; the name you choose may already be taken, then you need to pick another.
2. Product Type – here you choose the type of company you want. If you want to make iron, click IRON, and for weapons, click WEAPON.
3. Company Avatar – it would be nice if you chose a pic for your company; this will make you stand out a little against other companies.

1. Here you have some general information on your company. Your avatar, who owns it, what we produce, and where. There is also the Edit company button, which allows changing the company’s basic info.
2.This window shows what we produce, of what quality ( Q ) and how much raw resource we need to make a single ready product.
3.Here you have an entire panel used for submitting and managing job offers. It is here that you specify what SKILL level you are interested in while hiring employees. Players with a high SKILL are usually the most profitable, but we’ll consider that later. You also set the salary here; before you do, it is worth checking the JOB MARKET see what salaries can currently be found in the market. Remember not to overpay Raising your offer is not always worth it. The last field specifies the QUANTITY; just type in the number of people you are willing to hire with these parameters.
4. The last “table” simply presents your list of employees J here you can change their salaries, or fire them. Below is a very useful field, namely VIEW WORKERS PRODUCTIVITY; here you can check whether an employee has already worked today and how many products he has made. This table will be very useful in calculating your company’s profitability, but we’ll talk about this in a short while
5. Company Profitability:
As everyone knows, companies are established to make money. Therefore, you need to remember some basic principles while hiring workforce and selling your goods.
The first and only employee is usually yourself. The market of Q1 companies is very competitive, which makes product prices low enough to render hiring anyone unprofitable, BUT! This is not a solid rule; as some of you may know, the market and the economy are very dynamic and variable environments. One day it may not be worth hiring anybody, but the next day you can have 10 employees. It all depends on the market. During peacetime and recession, market prices tend to drop, salaries are low, and your profit poor. Then it is worth manufacturing and storing. Wars mean cash flow, everyone will want to fight, so there will be many buyers for our goods.
Remember! If you start your own company, work in it; doing so, you will earn more than while working for someone else J When the time is good for business, hire employees and stick to the golden rule. The more money you spend, the less you will have for later, while the more you invest (e.g. expanding your company), to more you will gain.
Therefore, you must learn to manage your funds!
Count your employees’ salaries – it is not always best to hire the ones with the highest skill. So what if they can manufacture 100 products, which would make 10PLN, if you can hire someone who makes 70 product for half of the salary you’d pay someone with a better skill, and make 20PLN

In E-Sim we have a huge, living world, which is a mirror copy of the Earth. Well, maybe not completely mirrored, because the balance of power in this virtual world looks a bit different than in real life. In E-Sim, USA does not have to be a world superpower, It can be efficiently managed as a much smaller country that has entrepreneurial citizens that support it's foundation. Everything depends on the players themselves and how they decide to shape the political map of the game.
Work for the good of your country and see it rise to an empire.
Activities in this game are divided into several modules. First is the economy as a citizen in a country of your choice you must work to earn money, which you will get to spend for example, on food or purchase of weapons which are critical for your progress as a fighter. You will work in either private companies which are owned by players or government companies which are owned by the state. After progressing in the game you will finally get the opportunity to set up your own business and hire other players. If it prospers, we can even change it into a joint-stock company and enter the stock market and get even more money in this way.
In E-Sim, international wars are nothing out of the ordinary.
Become an influential politician.
The second module is a politics. Just like in real life politics in E-Sim are an extremely powerful tool that can be used for your own purposes. From time to time there are elections in the game in which you will not only vote, but also have the ability to run for the head of the party you're in. You can also apply for congress, where once elected you will be given the right to vote on laws proposed by your fellow congress members or your president and propose laws yourself. Voting on laws is important for your country as it can shape the lives of those around you. You can also try to become the head of a given party, and even take part in presidential elections and decide on the shape of the foreign policy of a given state (for example, who to declare war on). Career in politics is obviously not easy and in order to succeed in it, you have to have a good plan and compete for the votes of voters.
You can go bankrupt or become a rich man while playing the stock market.
The international war.
The last and probably the most important module is military. In E-Sim, countries are constantly fighting each other for control over territories which in return grant them access to more valuable raw materials. For this purpose, they form alliances, they fight international wars, but they also have to deal with, for example, uprisings in conquered countries or civil wars, which may explode on their territory. You can also take part in these clashes, although you are also given the opportunity to lead a life as a pacifist who focuses on other activities in the game (for example, running a successful newspaper or selling products).
At the auction you can sell or buy your dream inventory.
