As we all know, the field of politics here in the virtual reality of e-Sim is filled with multiple types of parties. I will not go so in depth on different types, but I’d like to focus on just a singular type and to specifically, a single party that is the New Marxist-Leninist Party or NML in short.
You often see parties that have names that do not indicate anything and thus makes it hard to really know what is their agenda in their politics - this of course is a crucial lack in the world of e-Sim that in order to define your self, you have to post several articles and there is no in-game page where to state your political preferences. I guess the game developers already knew that this sort of populist parties, without any true agenda that are “for everyone”, would occur so they did not even bother to let you define your political status.
Now the party. NML states its preference towards a certain type of politics that is, at least by vocabulary and pictures in media, a nostalgia for Real Life Soviet era. The obvious threats of course exist that people would react to this largely thanks to the propaganda presented in western countries, but gladly what I presume has happened is that people have implicitly realized that the transference of a phenomenon from Real Life does not go without the adaptation to the new world of e-Sim, thus leaving out the negativity of 20th century far-leftist totalitarian tendencies.
As a leftist party, they have good card to play which is the direct democracy - intuitively it holds a really positive connotation. This is not largely so used among the right-wing parties and really distincts the NML. Other than that, it is really hard to pursue the agenda of leftists from Real Life. This problem is not due to the party politics but really due to the way the e-Sim world is created. I wrote this text that I thought I never would publish but I guess it fits for the topic of the way e-Sim is formed:
“I’m shocked, not because the way things are, but the way things are not. We have health but no death or sickness and we have war but no casualties and we have jobs where we work without the need to ever rest.
We live in a sandbox where we are not human but like robots, who work for not to take care of one’s well-being, but to earn money to gain guns for war and food to fight multiple times a day. We are in an arena where we fight each other for not the reasons of protecting our health, but the reasons of gaining areas of resources to gain money to again, buy needs for warfare.
Why is this? Because of the design that was produced by the creators of this virtual reality, their ideas were implemented here. Some modifications were later made “thanks” to people with the currency from Real Life, but the most crucial changes were not to be made.
So why to continue your virtual existence in the mechanical armor that you were forced into?”
So the world of e-Sim itself has this lack of humanity, an anti-modification of the e-Sim world, that usually the political left tends to protect and go for. This causes of course again changes in the agenda of leftist parties, adapting to the new set of needs in the virtual world. Concerning this topic there is an a text written called “Bread and butter - without the butter” that deals also with this issue.
So how is the Irish NML adapting to the coordinates of e-Sim? The need to make communes as the main type of company is not presented, and the focus is more with the idea that through state and the democracy in it, people can have an opinion and effect on how the economy and politics are done. Now some leftist, anarchists etc. that have studied ideologies might get scared and state that “oh you are ruining it, we need as little as possible state control over things.” It seems that their problem is that there should not be any authoritarian rule. This lack of authority, example representatives in democracy like the congress and government, would mean that you would have to have people actively participating politics already in the level of companies etc.
The fundamental problem of e-Sim that takes place here is the large number of so called two-clickers, the “useful idiots” of politics - this has also been stated via text considering new types of approaches to leftist economy called Global Planned Socialist Economy, the GPSE. We have them here so much that it is impossible to even get their opinion via in game messages which has been given a try in other virtual realities. It seems that nationally NML, to use “loaded words”, is headed towards state socialism which is ruled by democratic representatives that use referendums in order to achieve opinions on matters, or even make decisions via them.
The New Marxist-Leninist Party has a change of creating something different in the world of e-Sim and in sIreland within the coordinates of e-Sim.
P.S I’m really sorry for writing this long text, I obviously do not have the skill of express myself but I hope this text gives something to think about even in the form of bullsh*t.
BTW! Take a screenshot of this article or copy it if you want to read it again sometime. You often don’t realize it but ideology is not only among us, the community of e-Sim, but also among the creators of this reality. It is represented among good things like deleting people who abuse the ability to create multiple entities, but also represented in bad when articles that deal with the ideologies coming from Real Life and which are represented in their own way here in e-Sim.
In E-Sim we have a huge, living world, which is a mirror copy of the Earth.
Well, maybe not completely mirrored, because the balance of power in this virtual world looks a bit
different than in real life. In E-Sim, USA does not have to be a world superpower, It can be
efficiently
managed as a much smaller country that has entrepreneurial citizens that support it's foundation.
Everything depends on the players themselves and how they decide to shape the political map of the
game.
Work for the good of your country and
see it rise to an empire.
Activities in this game are divided into several modules.
First is the economy as a citizen in a country of your choice you must work to earn money, which you
will get to spend for example, on food or purchase of weapons which are critical for your progress
as a fighter.
You will work in either private companies which are owned by players or government companies which
are owned by the state.
After progressing in the game you will finally get the opportunity to set up your
own business and hire other players. If it prospers, we can even change it into a joint-stock
company and enter the stock market and get even more money in this way.
In E-Sim, international wars are nothing out of the ordinary.

Become an influential politician.
The second module is a politics. Just like in real life politics
in E-Sim are an extremely powerful tool that can be used for your own purposes.
From time to time there are elections in the game in which you will not only vote, but also have the ability
to run for the head of the party you're in.
You can also apply for congress, where once elected you will be given the right to vote on laws
proposed by your fellow congress members or your president and propose laws yourself.
Voting on laws is important for your country as it can shape the lives of those around you.
You can also try to become the head of a given party, and even take part in presidential
elections and decide on the shape of the foreign policy of a given state
(for example, who to declare war on).
Career in politics is obviously not easy and in order to succeed in it, you have to have
a good plan and compete for the votes of voters.
You can go bankrupt or become a rich man while playing the stock market.
The international war.
The last and probably the most important module is military.
In E-Sim, countries are constantly fighting each other for control
over territories which in return grant them access to more valuable raw materials.
For this purpose, they form alliances, they fight international wars, but they also have
to deal with, for example, uprisings in conquered countries or civil wars, which may explode on
their territory.
You can also take part in these clashes, although you are also given the opportunity to lead a life
as a pacifist
who focuses on other activities in the game (for example, running a successful newspaper or selling
products).
At the auction you can sell or buy your dream inventory.
E-Sim is a unique browser game.
It's creators ensured realistic representation of the mechanisms present
in the real world and gave all power to the players who shape the image of the virtual Earth
according to their own.
So come and join them and help your country achieve its full potential.
