Hey Canada! It's been a wild week, probably the most intense and fun action I have ever had on e-sim. As I write this we have lost Chuncheon, as well as our attack on South Chung, which means we don't have initiative to attack for 24 hours (maybe more if SK will launch an attack) so we cannot regain Chuncheon for another 2 days or so. So for the next 2 days we have a debuff all over SK. As I write this we are winning our Jeolla battle but it will simply be way too costly and nearly impossible to hold it until we regain Chuncheon (which alone is a challenge)

So with this in mind, I'm officially pulling us out of South Korea. Does this suck? Kind of. But let me explain this a little bit more, because the situation is extremely complex.

When we first attacked Taiwan, the world had hardly any battles, Unico often needed more places to drop damage, and Canada itself was dying rapidly. I was pretty bored myself. Always the same battles in the balkans, always fighting off RWs, it was pretty dull and repetitive. With these reasons in mind, we attacked and invaded Taiwan. With our alliance's help, we plowed our way through region after region fighting 3-4 battles at a time winning them all. We were up against a combined force of Taiwan and China who are much more numerous than Canada yet we still held our own, with help from our allies in key battles. People fought very smartly, we ganged up together at the end of rounds, and we made magic happen out there for the first 4 days or so. It was perhaps one of the most fun, exciting and thrilling 4 days of my e-sim life. A tough canadian campaign tearing through Asia. It was a blast and I'm pretty sure everyone else enjoyed it too. This invasion brought a complete 180 turn to Canada. From being dead of boredom, to unprecedented levels of activity in the Canadian shoutbox, on IRC, and in our new coordination room #Beaver. We increased our daily damage record from a little over 20M to 36M on Day 392 and pretty much every Canadian MU smashed their own personal bests.

But then a lot of unforeseeable things happened that even with the best planning, could not have been predicted. Poland and China left Omega to create an extremely unlikely alliance called Wind of Change , becoming a direct enemy of Unico. Therefore China had even extra incentive to keep battling us. So this war no longer became a defense of Taiwan. It became an entire repulsion of Canada from Asia. Do I blame them and am I angry about it? Not at all. All of these conflicts revived Canada completely and brought life and excitement back to our country. That in my mind is extremely important. It's a game, so if we're bored, it's not a very fun game.

I would like to remind everyone that when we first invaded South Korea, we had no high region; CEC was owned by USA, so we had different motives. Our motive to keep South Korea and even take Taiwan was of excitement and profits, which is of course nice, but we do have Canada East Coast, an extremely profitable high region so we are still in a comfortable position. In fact, without having to hold South Korea, we can solely focus on helping our allies and paying them back for their loyalty and dedication to our cause. With a powerful Wind of Change on the doorstep of many allied countries trying to break the door down, it is important we keep this strong military momentum we have and direct it to our beloved brothers in arm. Many allies are also losing their colonies and soon we will be fighting to maintain our own core regions, so it is now more important than ever to not be distracted by RWs and battles of our own so we can selflessly help those who were once there for us.

Ramblerambleramble, I can get a little lost in my own world of words sometimes, so I apologize for this long message, but I think you call get the point. We are done with Asia... for now. We will use tarsieg's Q2 Defense Systems to fully secure our regions, accumulate a solid amount of gold in Canada Org for future war funds, and we will brace ourselves for whatever is coming at us, because these days the map and alliances are constantly changing.

On a personal level, I was the vSC of Unico until trojan quit so now I might be the interim SC of Unico until things are completely ironed out (There is a lot in the works right now) So don't worry, Unico might be losing ground now, but we will regroup, organize and bounce back hard.

Your dedicated CP,
OwenHargreaves

About the game:

USA as a world power? In E-Sim it is possible!

In E-Sim we have a huge, living world, which is a mirror copy of the Earth. Well, maybe not completely mirrored, because the balance of power in this virtual world looks a bit different than in real life. In E-Sim, USA does not have to be a world superpower, It can be efficiently managed as a much smaller country that has entrepreneurial citizens that support it's foundation. Everything depends on the players themselves and how they decide to shape the political map of the game.

Work for the good of your country and see it rise to an empire.

Activities in this game are divided into several modules. First is the economy as a citizen in a country of your choice you must work to earn money, which you will get to spend for example, on food or purchase of weapons which are critical for your progress as a fighter. You will work in either private companies which are owned by players or government companies which are owned by the state. After progressing in the game you will finally get the opportunity to set up your own business and hire other players. If it prospers, we can even change it into a joint-stock company and enter the stock market and get even more money in this way.

In E-Sim, international wars are nothing out of the ordinary.

Become an influential politician.

The second module is a politics. Just like in real life politics in E-Sim are an extremely powerful tool that can be used for your own purposes. From time to time there are elections in the game in which you will not only vote, but also have the ability to run for the head of the party you're in. You can also apply for congress, where once elected you will be given the right to vote on laws proposed by your fellow congress members or your president and propose laws yourself. Voting on laws is important for your country as it can shape the lives of those around you. You can also try to become the head of a given party, and even take part in presidential elections and decide on the shape of the foreign policy of a given state (for example, who to declare war on). Career in politics is obviously not easy and in order to succeed in it, you have to have a good plan and compete for the votes of voters.

You can go bankrupt or become a rich man while playing the stock market.

The international war.

The last and probably the most important module is military. In E-Sim, countries are constantly fighting each other for control over territories which in return grant them access to more valuable raw materials. For this purpose, they form alliances, they fight international wars, but they also have to deal with, for example, uprisings in conquered countries or civil wars, which may explode on their territory. You can also take part in these clashes, although you are also given the opportunity to lead a life as a pacifist who focuses on other activities in the game (for example, running a successful newspaper or selling products).

At the auction you can sell or buy your dream inventory.

E-Sim is a unique browser game. It's creators ensured realistic representation of the mechanisms present in the real world and gave all power to the players who shape the image of the virtual Earth according to their own. So come and join them and help your country achieve its full potential.
