Hi everyone,

I'm writing this article in order to say goodbye to everyone I had the pleasure to meet on the wonderful game that is e-Sim and to explain why I leave the staff and the game.

1. The start
When I look back on my eLife/sLife, I realize I should have stopped a long time ago..
I started with eRep on the 10th of August 2009, thus more than 3 years ago. I thought I'd leave eRepublik a long time ago because the game had become a money-producing machine rather than a project evolving and improving over time, plus: the admins didn't gave a damn about the players.

But then I discovered e-Sim, almost 106 days after its creation. And I instantly fell in love. Not of the game itself, but of his potential which was huge. I was fascinated because the staff team seemed to care about the players and the new innovating modules showed that the admin cared about his game. Shortly it was a rebirth.

2. Objective: "Avoid that e-Sim would become eRep"
I remembered that eRep was as promising as e-Sim when I joined it, in 2009. e-Sim was a fresh start, but I figured I should do everything I can to avoid that this game would turn out the same. I used to run a gaming server myself and I did had plenty of experience on these kind of games, plus I believed I'm not bad at analyzing a game and trying to improve it: therefore, I started to write a huge article (which took me litterally hours to write), in order to reach the attention of the staff team. In this article I wrote tons of sugestions explained with photoshopped pictures and all.

I did receive answers from several staff members back then. Matevzs sent me a PM saying that he loved my ideas and suggesting that I apply for the staff team. I thought it over and finally sent maliso (ex-GOA) my application: a very long message that showed my motivation from top to bottom. But I waited, and waited... And no answer came. It eventually did came, but 2 months later...

3. GO, helping from the inside!
There I was, Game Operator of e-Sim.. It sounds impressive, but in fact it is the lowest rank in a four-stage hierarchy system. There are: the bitches, the bitches' supervisors, the bosses and finally the founder of the game. But yah, amongst the bitches we got along really well so it didn't bother us to be the bitches. Shortly after I joined the staff, 2 thirds of the staff left the team (Gucio, TonyMontana, Gaddafi, LukasPim, Logical, ...)

Anyway, now that I was in the team, I could help from the inside. And as a freshly arrived GO I wrote other articles, with lots of suggestions, wrote different long messages towards the staff members with many suggestions too, to improve the coordination/entente between the members and make working more efficient. Most of the time, I received many answers stating "We should definately have this", even from SGOs and GOAs but nevertheless: NONE were implemented. Hmmm...

Clearly, there was something wrong and I didn't realize what, back then.

5.Many things completely wrong

After months of vein attempts to make the things move. I thought about the reasons why nothing succeeded.

Concerning the GAME IMPROVEMENTS, why didn't it succeed? The only reason is because the only man who can do anything to improve this game is railman aka Admin. And the man is a ghost, always online on IRC and skype, never answerring. And when I say never, it is truely NEVER. Sometimes he intervenes suddenly in a discussion or asks a questions which makes all of us almost get a heart attack but yah. He must be very busy (?).

Did he read my articles and messages? I believe he did, because I spammed him everywhere to make him read them. He never answerred though, or merely told me sometimes what he thought of it. I think he don't really care, maybe he is too conceited to really consider these ideas. Meh. There we were, the situation was and still are completely at status quo concerning the game's improvement. And neither us, staff members or you, players, can do anything about it, simply because our feedback doesn't reach the developpers. And I didn't even mention secura

Concerning the STAFF IMPROVEMENTS then? Why didn't it get better?
In the staff team everything seem to move extremely slowly when it concerns change. Extremely slowly, but at least it is moving a little bit. The staff lacks someone who will have the time and energy as well as the rank (GOA) to stand behind the suggestions and put them in place as soon as possible. It is not difficult but it requires time and energy. Why is it so slow? Most of the people in the team were great and motivated. But also many others were there but didn't do anything, they just hung around, doing absolutely nothing. Why were they there? Out of respect probably. But it was not motivating at all for the entire team...
The ranks are not well defined moreover. The GOs have their chores to do all day long and don't have any power to try to improve the staff, the GOA is alone and has already lots of work. But the SGOs, are supposed to monitor the GOs... Ok, but that's not a full-time job, is it? Beside that, they should gather and discuss ways to improve the system and communication towards the players.

6. Goodbye

Frankly, I lost all motivation a few months ago already. I started to do less and less in the team and watched what would happen. I think it's normal, when you have half of the team who doesn't do jack and the founder of the game who doesn't give a damn about what you do for his game.... I took months to realize that I cannot help. And even if I believe e-Sim is heading right towards the wall, it is not my duty to try to make him change its direction.

Now, I believe e-Sim has reached its lowest point ever. Therefore: I leave the staff and the game. It was a pleasure playing with all of you Below I'll add a few words for some of the players I think of and a list of most suggestions I posted over the time because many of them are still actual.

Goodbye Miniteck , probabkly the guy I would trust 100% concerning managing this game. Responsible, open to suggestions and simply very funny <3
Goodbye Luis Ariel Zavarella , most funny guy I know. It's a such a great loss he's not on the staff team anymore <3
Goodbye Bloodger , also extremely funny and sexy. But he know it already. <3
Goodbye Ranflax , the best grammarnazi ever but also a lazy-ass Snorlax/Cornflax <3
Goodbye doki best serb ever <3
Goodbye Plesen1 , hot and skilled, what else?
Goodbye coolasfcuk skilled but not hot neither cool. <3
Goodbye Lorrie, Matevzs1, RedDoctor, Restriction, MarkStray, dane, maliso, and the many others whose name I don't imlmediately recall but that I don't forget, don't worry

Good continuation to all staff members !

About the game:

USA as a world power? In E-Sim it is possible!

In E-Sim we have a huge, living world, which is a mirror copy of the Earth. Well, maybe not completely mirrored, because the balance of power in this virtual world looks a bit different than in real life. In E-Sim, USA does not have to be a world superpower, It can be efficiently managed as a much smaller country that has entrepreneurial citizens that support it's foundation. Everything depends on the players themselves and how they decide to shape the political map of the game.

Work for the good of your country and see it rise to an empire.

Activities in this game are divided into several modules. First is the economy as a citizen in a country of your choice you must work to earn money, which you will get to spend for example, on food or purchase of weapons which are critical for your progress as a fighter. You will work in either private companies which are owned by players or government companies which are owned by the state. After progressing in the game you will finally get the opportunity to set up your own business and hire other players. If it prospers, we can even change it into a joint-stock company and enter the stock market and get even more money in this way.

In E-Sim, international wars are nothing out of the ordinary.

Become an influential politician.

The second module is a politics. Just like in real life politics in E-Sim are an extremely powerful tool that can be used for your own purposes. From time to time there are elections in the game in which you will not only vote, but also have the ability to run for the head of the party you're in. You can also apply for congress, where once elected you will be given the right to vote on laws proposed by your fellow congress members or your president and propose laws yourself. Voting on laws is important for your country as it can shape the lives of those around you. You can also try to become the head of a given party, and even take part in presidential elections and decide on the shape of the foreign policy of a given state (for example, who to declare war on). Career in politics is obviously not easy and in order to succeed in it, you have to have a good plan and compete for the votes of voters.

You can go bankrupt or become a rich man while playing the stock market.

The international war.

The last and probably the most important module is military. In E-Sim, countries are constantly fighting each other for control over territories which in return grant them access to more valuable raw materials. For this purpose, they form alliances, they fight international wars, but they also have to deal with, for example, uprisings in conquered countries or civil wars, which may explode on their territory. You can also take part in these clashes, although you are also given the opportunity to lead a life as a pacifist who focuses on other activities in the game (for example, running a successful newspaper or selling products).

At the auction you can sell or buy your dream inventory.

E-Sim is a unique browser game. It's creators ensured realistic representation of the mechanisms present in the real world and gave all power to the players who shape the image of the virtual Earth according to their own. So come and join them and help your country achieve its full potential.
