By far the biggest problem facing America is declining activity and player retention. Less activity leads to less damage giving us less ability to fight people like Poland. Lower player retention means our population shrinks and America gets even weaker. These two points are key to making America strong once again, and the current system in place has been used for several months with marginal success rates.

However, with the implementation of the new server it is clear that the technique's must be refined. Our natural population growth is lower than usual and retention is that much more important. To spur this retention and growth we need three things.

1. Communication
The current active population has a mix of ambitious newbies, 2-clickers, and veteran politicians. The veteran politicians and the ambitious newbies are unlikely to leave because of Poland's occupation of America. However, the 2-clicker population is much more likely to leave especially if there is no communication from the top. This month we have lacked that communication from the top, The last Department of Defense orders were a week ago, it could be a strategy of silence to build up weapons and prepare for a large assault but it nevertheless a silence that demoralizes the 2-clicker community. The last WHPR was over a month ago, and Fluffer's three supplementary articles were : cabinet, we're doing stuff I swear, no civil wars plz. That's hardly what I call top down communication and certainly left many 2-clicker's high and dry without information or any real draw to the game anymore.

I plan to improve this, I can't give you a timetable (because writing on timetables suck) but I do promise not to have more than a 3 day gap without some form of governmental announcement in addition to DoD orders which will be issued as often as possible.

2. Integration
The community of the USA is oddly disjoint, there isn't large scale talking in the IRC channel anymore (it's more of an idle room at this point) and the forums are mainly used by congressmen and the President. The problem with this setup is that the forums and IRC are an excellent source to keep players in the game longer and more active. There are many suggestions being thrown around in Congress right now about increasing Forum and IRC involvement so the following paragraph may grow as I shamelessly steal or improve upon their ideas but below are the key improvements I'd like to see.

1. Direct Questions To The Government
Two-clickers, again a substantial part of the eUSA population, have an interesting relationship with the government. They are a heavy voting bloc that can sometimes wholesale decide elections (Uncle Sam's election is largely attributed to this) but then due to their lack of interaction with IRC they do not have much influence with the elected government. I'd like to change this, allow 2-clicker communication with the government to be much more convenient. The Forums act as a good middle ground, you don't have to be ever present or even wait on the person to be online, just slap a question up on the forums and wait for a reply. We shall use this convenience to allow direct questions to any member of the executive branch (and congress if they want to jump on) via a forum section. Unless we have problems to the contrary the section will not require mod approval before the post appears as it does in the public congress section.

2. Military Unit's and Parties
This is an area somewhat out of my control but I'd like to see more party functions and MU functions occur on the forums. Parties could require all aspiring congressmen to present themselves on the forum first and even have little debates held in the forum so that the other party members have a real idea who they want to vote for. Any Military Units that still do supplies by requests could have these requests presented and filled in the forum. It's all steps towards greater activity and integration, a better feeling of community for America.

The final thing America needs is new growth. If you've got an idea on how to attract new citizens to eSim go ahead and send me a PM and I'll assist you in anyway possible. In the past ideas such as recruiting over from eRep to Facebook ads have been proposed for babybooms. They have been successful but I don't have the money for a Facebook ad campaign at this time so I'm proposing a back burner idea. Secura gets an influx of citizens each day that do not join Primera, we can have members of the DoE contact these people and try to persuade them to join Primera. This however is a back burner idea, we need to implement our integration techniques first and harness our own retention before going out and stealing from the Secura server.

USA as a world power? In E-Sim it is possible!

In E-Sim we have a huge, living world, which is a mirror copy of the Earth. Well, maybe not completely mirrored, because the balance of power in this virtual world looks a bit different than in real life. In E-Sim, USA does not have to be a world superpower, It can be efficiently managed as a much smaller country that has entrepreneurial citizens that support it's foundation. Everything depends on the players themselves and how they decide to shape the political map of the game.

Work for the good of your country and see it rise to an empire.

Activities in this game are divided into several modules. First is the economy as a citizen in a country of your choice you must work to earn money, which you will get to spend for example, on food or purchase of weapons which are critical for your progress as a fighter. You will work in either private companies which are owned by players or government companies which are owned by the state. After progressing in the game you will finally get the opportunity to set up your own business and hire other players. If it prospers, we can even change it into a joint-stock company and enter the stock market and get even more money in this way.


In E-Sim, international wars are nothing out of the ordinary.

Become an influential politician.

The second module is a politics. Just like in real life politics in E-Sim are an extremely powerful tool that can be used for your own purposes. From time to time there are elections in the game in which you will not only vote, but also have the ability to run for the head of the party you're in. You can also apply for congress, where once elected you will be given the right to vote on laws proposed by your fellow congress members or your president and propose laws yourself. Voting on laws is important for your country as it can shape the lives of those around you. You can also try to become the head of a given party, and even take part in presidential elections and decide on the shape of the foreign policy of a given state (for example, who to declare war on). Career in politics is obviously not easy and in order to succeed in it, you have to have a good plan and compete for the votes of voters.


You can go bankrupt or become a rich man while playing the stock market.

The international war.

The last and probably the most important module is military. In E-Sim, countries are constantly fighting each other for control over territories which in return grant them access to more valuable raw materials. For this purpose, they form alliances, they fight international wars, but they also have to deal with, for example, uprisings in conquered countries or civil wars, which may explode on their territory. You can also take part in these clashes, although you are also given the opportunity to lead a life as a pacifist who focuses on other activities in the game (for example, running a successful newspaper or selling products).


At the auction you can sell or buy your dream inventory.

E-Sim is a unique browser game. It's creators ensured realistic representation of the mechanisms present in the real world and gave all power to the players who shape the image of the virtual Earth according to their own. So come and join them and help your country achieve its full potential.
