Over the last week, we've seen Poland walk into America and take our country from us. I say walk because if we were going to paint a picture of what happened, a 25 year old body builder just punched a 12 year old basement dweller in the face.
What led to this? That's rather simple, actually.
Poland wants to occupy Spain and keep them under foot. Spain has an active credit against Poland Org, and Poland wants their debt cancelled.
Manda , the Polish President, says that the debt was a guarantee Poland made against an agreement, and that once their end was held up it should have been cancelled. Spain clearly hasn't cancelled the debt, so here we are. Poland wants to kick Spain in the teeth.
Now, what does that have to do with us? That's rather simple. We are Spain's strongest ally. By marching through the USA, wiping us, crushing our economy and morale, and then marching into Spain, they make holding that territory much easier. For those who are unaware, Poland is also attacking Spain on the secura server...that's how serious this is (and goes to show that the overlap between servers is a bit retarded...thanks railman).
Originally, my plan during my first term was to accept Poland's invitation to their alliance. However, that couldn't come to pass because a few loud and obnoxious citizens raised a call to rally to Spain's side (despite them having no money and no organized military to speak of). In the face of overwhelming public opinion, I created our current alliance, AGC.
I say created because that's what I did. I found the best group of countries still available and put together a coalition. Was it perfect? No. It still isn't. Fact is, it's what we could do. Prior to the birth of secura signaling the death of primera, AGC did OK, so long as they had someone to be a strong leader (something they've lacked the last month or so). Now, it's a bit unorganized and difficult to operate within.
I am constantly evaluating our options, but unlike some people who think simply leaving AGC will present a bevy of new opportunity to us, as if AGC is the cause of our problems and not a symptom of poor long term planning by the people who forced my hand into creating it...well those people are just silly.
International Ranger has called for an American Civil War. Most of the time, I'd be down for that. I'd chuckle, and then kick his butt. Now, however, that's the most pants on head retarded thing he could do. You'll see MUs split down the middle in deciding where to fight, and American gold evaporating into the ether, never to be seen again. At a time when we have no economy to speak of, disappearing gold into nothingness isn't exactly a smart move (especially when you're pushing yourself as the new President, you should know better).
If you feel the will is there, IR, talk to Congress. They can have 5 impeachments done in a relatively short time, then elect a new President. Easy peasy. Don't throw away 1000+ gold in starting and funding two sides of a Civil War. That's irresponsible at this time, and shows that you don't have what it really takes to run this joint.
Now, I'm going to go back to enjoying my Sunday. I got a text about IR's hissy fit so I logged in to respond, church starts in 10 minutes, then I'm going home to watch football. See you all on IRC when I get back.
And, as has always been the case, just message me or comment here if you have any suggestions about what to do. Please, nobody suggest IR's last plan of trying to pull players OUT of secura onto primera. I'm sure he had just gobs and gobs of fun trying, but that's barking up the wrong tree.

USA as a world power? In E-Sim it is possible!
In E-Sim we have a huge, living world, which is a mirror copy of the Earth. Well, maybe not completely mirrored, because the balance of power in this virtual world looks a bit different than in real life. In E-Sim, USA does not have to be a world superpower, It can be efficiently managed as a much smaller country that has entrepreneurial citizens that support it's foundation. Everything depends on the players themselves and how they decide to shape the political map of the game.
Work for the good of your country and see it rise to an empire.
Activities in this game are divided into several modules. First is the economy as a citizen in a country of your choice you must work to earn money, which you will get to spend for example, on food or purchase of weapons which are critical for your progress as a fighter. You will work in either private companies which are owned by players or government companies which are owned by the state. After progressing in the game you will finally get the opportunity to set up your own business and hire other players. If it prospers, we can even change it into a joint-stock company and enter the stock market and get even more money in this way.
In E-Sim, international wars are nothing out of the ordinary.
Become an influential politician.
The second module is a politics. Just like in real life politics in E-Sim are an extremely powerful tool that can be used for your own purposes. From time to time there are elections in the game in which you will not only vote, but also have the ability to run for the head of the party you're in. You can also apply for congress, where once elected you will be given the right to vote on laws proposed by your fellow congress members or your president and propose laws yourself. Voting on laws is important for your country as it can shape the lives of those around you. You can also try to become the head of a given party, and even take part in presidential elections and decide on the shape of the foreign policy of a given state (for example, who to declare war on). Career in politics is obviously not easy and in order to succeed in it, you have to have a good plan and compete for the votes of voters.
You can go bankrupt or become a rich man while playing the stock market.
The international war.
The last and probably the most important module is military. In E-Sim, countries are constantly fighting each other for control over territories which in return grant them access to more valuable raw materials. For this purpose, they form alliances, they fight international wars, but they also have to deal with, for example, uprisings in conquered countries or civil wars, which may explode on their territory. You can also take part in these clashes, although you are also given the opportunity to lead a life as a pacifist who focuses on other activities in the game (for example, running a successful newspaper or selling products).
At the auction you can sell or buy your dream inventory.
E-Sim is a unique browser game. It's creators ensured realistic representation of the mechanisms present in the real world and gave all power to the players who shape the image of the virtual Earth according to their own. So come and join them and help your country achieve its full potential.
