what's wrong with esim, vpopulus, erepublik, .... (Old article)

Najprej nekaj o meni(mogoče bom kandidiral za kongresnika, CPja ,...)
Moje e življenje sem posvetil najprej igranju igre erepublik. Igra me je privlačila še bolj pa soigralci. Erepublik sem igral že približno 2 leti , nakar dobim povabilo v podobno igro esim . Prijavim se in vidim da mi kar ustreza, vendar je bil erepublik na prvem mestu esim pa zgolj dvoklikanje. Podobno kot esim je sledil še vpopulus(šele v razvoju). V erepubliku so se stvari z vsako spremembo drastično slabšale, admin je hotel vedno več kupovanja golda in tej želji podredil vse nove implementacije. Po pol leta prenašanja bedarij sem igro dokončno zapustil (no vsaj aktivno) in račun podaril enemu izmed mlajših borcev. Od takrat igram esim in vpopulus kar resno.
Naj bo to dovolj o meni. Hotel sem le pokazati da imam nekaj izkušenj z takimi igrami.

Sedaj pa na problematiko iger:(Problemi si bojo sledili po velikosti problema)

1.) Največji problem vidim v tem da si car v igri če si začel v prvih dneh igre. Kot novinec je depresivno gledati kako tvoj dmg ne odloča skoraj o ničemer. Prav tako je z delom. Plača je nizka, uspeh pa skoraj nemogoč ob zasičenosti z tovarnami. Vem da v esimu in vpopulusu se pridobljena moč na dan manjša z številom treningov (prve dni 10 točk, nato 5 nato samo po 2) a to čez 2 leti ne bo zadostovalo. Podobno je z working skilom

PREDLAGAM REŠITEV: moči se pridobi vsak dan enako. (potrebni bi bili popravki za nazaj). nato pa se v dmg kalkulira tako da moč deliš z številom dni v igri. Torej bi novinec in nekdo ki igra že leto imela v osnovi enak dmg. vendar bi imel nekdo z večjim rankom nekoliko več dmgja

2.) Manjka tutorial(podobno kot v travianu ko imaš na začetku tipa ki ti stavi naloge, prejemaš nagrade ....) ki bi obdržal nove igralce saj bi jim razložil koncept igre. Ko je igralec neaktiven več kot en dan opomnik na mail (možnost nastavitve če se maile pošilja - privzeto vklopljeno)

REŠITEV: že predlagana kar v opisu problema

3.) Zasičenost s tovarnami
Ustanavljat tovarne danes je brezveze. Vsaj moje mnenje. Preveč tovaren premalo kupcev (poskusi ublažitve z estejtom) človek porabi več weapnov, 5 giftov. Zasičenost še narašča. Problem povezan tudi ker se working skill veča. (navezava na prvo točko)

Tu neke pametne rešitve nimam. Imam idejo vendar nimam pojma kako bi se izvedla v praksi.
Recimo za obnovo q5 tovarne mora lastnik plačati vsak mesec 10g v kolikor to ne stori se njegova tovarna downgrejda na q4. podobno za vse ostale kvalitete tovaren, razlika le v količini golda za obnovo

Totalno druga rešitev je da se server po recimo 3 letih resetira in gre z nova, s tem da država zmagovalka prejšnjega serverja dobi nekaj več začetnega kapitala. (Kako določiš kdo zmaga nimam pojma)

I know that in e-sim and vpopulus the strength generated per day decreases with the number of training sessions but this will not be enough in 2 years, similarly with economic skill.
I propose this: strength is obtained equally every day, then dmg is calculated as strength divided by number of day since starting to play. So the newcomer and someone who plays a year(regularly) had basically the same dmg, but someone with higher rank would have better bonus.

dmg = str / (No. in-game days) * rank bonus

2.) Missing tutorial (similar to the Travian where you have at the beginning a guy who give you task and reward,... ) that would keep new players since it would explain the concept of the game. When a player is inactive for more than one day he would get reminder in e-mail (possibility to set when to receive mail - turned on by default).
SOLUTION: what is already suggested in the description of the problem.
3.) Saturation with factories: Creating company today suck.At least in my opinion. Too many factories, lack of customers (attempts to alleviate problem with estates), people spend more and more weapons and gifts. Saturation increases.The problem is also related to the economic skill (connection to first item).
Here I do not have a smart solution. I have an idea, but not how to carry it out in practice.
For example: for renovation q5 factory owner must pay each month 10g if this is not done his factory downgrade to q4 (similar for other qualities,only difference is in the quantity of Gold needed for renovation).
Completely another solution is that the server reset after 3 years, with addition that winning country get more start up capital (I don't have idea how to chose winner).

You can also apply for congress, where once elected you will be given the right to vote on laws proposed by your fellow congress members or your president and propose laws yourself. Voting on laws is important for your country as it can shape the lives of those around you. You can also try to become the head of a given party, and even take part in presidential elections and decide on the shape of the foreign policy of a given state (for example, who to declare war on). Career in politics is obviously not easy and in order to succeed in it, you have to have a good plan and compete for the votes of voters.


You can go bankrupt or become a rich man while playing the stock market.

The international war.

The last and probably the most important module is military. In E-Sim, countries are constantly fighting each other for control over territories which in return grant them access to more valuable raw materials. For this purpose, they form alliances, they fight international wars, but they also have to deal with, for example, uprisings in conquered countries or civil wars, which may explode on their territory. You can also take part in these clashes, although you are also given the opportunity to lead a life as a pacifist who focuses on other activities in the game (for example, running a successful newspaper or selling products).
