Hello again readers, and for those new to my article, a brief explanation: I give major US news, with some opinions thrown in there, there are four main subjects (War, Politics, Alliances/MPPs, and world news), all of which will not be covered if I find that news isn't worthy of being covered, like a new political party with 2 members or a war that we won 8-0, and wasn't recurring. With all that said, thanks for reading (whether you V + S or not I still love readers) and I hope you can come to enjoy my writing .

War

Resistance Wars - As usual, we've been faced with a plethora of RWs in the CEC and Cork/Kerry. At the time of writing this article we've had a total of 13 RWs pop up, two of which are still ongoing. Like last week, I'll give you the statistics for each set of them, despite them basically only being drain wars to take some damage away from wars in different countries. These will be chronologically ordered, the bottom war is the most recent, as it goes further it goes back, there will also be a W/L ratio next to it.

CEC
Wars: 7 Ongoing:1 (6-0)
8-1
8-0
8-0
8-1
8-0
8-2
*Ongoing* 5-2

Cork/Kerry
Wars:6 Ongoing: 1 (5-0)
8-1
8-0
8-3
8-1
8-0
*ongoing* 1-0

Once again this week, there's nothing to worry about from these wars, they're just to drain our citizens from fighting outside of our country.

Wars around the world - Now then, important wars to America covered by the DoD outside of our Country, with our allies on the right, and a W/L with rounds next to it as well, if it’s a resistance war the country resisting will have RW before their name, if it’s a war to conquer land I’ll put a H next to it to show the defending country (H=home). These are also in Chronological order of each day, so if some things pop up more than once you’ll know why.

Poland (W) vs (H) Russia (L) 8-3
Sweden (L) vs (H) Russia (W) 8-4
Serbia (L) vs (H) Romania (W) 8-2
Portugal (L) vs (H) Brazil (W) 8-2
Poland (W) vs (RW) Russia (L) 8-7 (super close)
(H) Serbia (L) vs Romania (W) 8-6
Sweden (W) vs Russia (L) 8-7
Portugal (L) vs (H) Brazil (W) 8-7
Sweden (W) vs (H) Russia (L) 8-5
*Ongoing* Poland vs (RW) Latvia currently 3-2 in the favor of Latvia

This week we're 5-4, however if we can hold for Latvia then we can really show progress, and it would be against Poland no less! The progression I spoke about two articles ago is starting to happen, and while we haven't beaten Poland this week, we still have a chance to beat then in Latvia this week.

Politics

Pfeiffergate - This week we saw proof against our President Pfeiffer, and in doing so we decided to call for impeachment. Pfeiffer was not only impeached for stealing funds, but was also banned, "permanently." I use quotations due to the fact that in a few days he was already back to e-sim. If you wan't to know more on my feelings, my previous article gave my thoughts while the chaos was still raging.

New President: Derpyhooves - After Pfeiffer was impeached, much to the 'Pfeiffergate' scandal that Derpyhooves brought to light, Feefaronie was brought in to fill Pfeiffer's final days in the office to fruition. The once joke of an election push has quickly turned serious, and now we have a new President.
-Side Note- Our president seems to be a freaking brony -_-, although I guess that's better than Pfeiffer who took funds for the purpose of quickly setting up mercs and RWs around the world, as we have no fund for them. However, circumventing congress is not the way to do things, and that's why he was impeached... luckily for him some people helped him pay back his debt to the american people.

Other - $28869.52 and 94.77 RUB were accepted into the country as donations and a new welcome message was proposed by Miles Trotsky, which was accepted by congress.

MPPs

The USA signed a MPP with Brazil, however later in the week both China and Turkey proposed MPPs with the US, China's failed 2-11, while Turkey's MPP failed 0-12.

Brazil's MPP with us also marked their joining of AGC.

World News

After yet another week of battles sparking around the globe, events have started to cool off a bit, while not in the sense that less important battles are taking place, but events around the world have dropping in quantity a bit. With Brazil now in AGC they have recovered all of their land that was previously in the hands of Portugal. Russia and Lithuania haven't been as fortunate, both of them have been completely taken over. Latvia hasn't had a great week, but they've got an area of land and the battles to suppress nations continue to rage on. The wars sparking around the war are far from over, but expect them to start to drop in numbers as the current pace of the world would be extremely hard to replicate.

Final Thought

This week, I offer you a piece not about the world, but about the problems on our home-front. We have always had to face adversity and corruption in the real world, it's what you come to expect, however for the country to jump our president before he even had a chance to speak for himself has seriously raised some questions in my head. I realize that his impeachment was deserved, but we cannot become a nation that once you see someone do something, we just call for the executioner before he or she has a chance to give an explanation for their actions. We pride ourselves over giving the accused a chance to express their reasoning in the real world, we should offer them the same opportunity in the e-sim world.

A jury consists of twelve persons chosen to decide who has the better lawyer. ~Robert Frost

This can be applied here, while there are obviously no lawyers, and the jury would be congress, we decided our President's fate within the first 5 minutes we took to read Derpy's article. Whoever has invested more time and money comes out on top in real life, our people do not set out for justice, they seek heads based on who can twist the law to their form with more ease. Don't get me wrong, Pfeiffer deserved what he got, but stating his being guilty so soon? It isn't right, as we move forward we're meant to grow as people, and it seems that we showed our primal instincts this week when we threw Pfeiffer under the bus. Do not choose a man's fate in real life, or the e-sim world based on evidence and a lack of a retort, a picture is worth a thousand words sure, but you still need to give Pfeiffer a chance to explain his actions, a luxury that was not afforded to him. As always, love and respect one another, and you may gain rewards from your labors.

Thanks for reading,
Shavrae

- P.S - With football starting I have decided to move my articles to Friday.

About the game:

USA as a world power? In E-Sim it is possible!

In E-Sim we have a huge, living world, which is a mirror copy of the Earth. Well, maybe not completely mirrored, because the balance of power in this virtual world looks a bit different than in real life. In E-Sim, USA does not have to be a world superpower, It can be efficiently managed as a much smaller country that has entrepreneurial citizens that support it's foundation. Everything depends on the players themselves and how they decide to shape the political map of the game.

Work for the good of your country and see it rise to an empire.

Activities in this game are divided into several modules. First is the economy as a citizen in a country of your choice you must work to earn money, which you will get to spend for example, on food or purchase of weapons which are critical for your progress as a fighter. You will work in either private companies which are owned by players or government companies which are owned by the state. After progressing in the game you will finally get the opportunity to set up your own business and hire other players. If it prospers, we can even change it into a joint-stock company and enter the stock market and get even more money in this way.

In E-Sim, international wars are nothing out of the ordinary.

Become an influential politician.

The second module is a politics. Just like in real life politics in E-Sim are an extremely powerful tool that can be used for your own purposes. From time to time there are elections in the game in which you will not only vote, but also have the ability to run for the head of the party you're in. You can also apply for congress, where once elected you will be given the right to vote on laws proposed by your fellow congress members or your president and propose laws yourself. Voting on laws is important for your country as it can shape the lives of those around you. You can also try to become the head of a given party, and even take part in presidential elections and decide on the shape of the foreign policy of a given state (for example, who to declare war on). Career in politics is obviously not easy and in order to succeed in it, you have to have a good plan and compete for the votes of voters.

You can go bankrupt or become a rich man while playing the stock market.

The international war.

The last and probably the most important module is military. In E-Sim, countries are constantly fighting each other for control over territories which in return grant them access to more valuable raw materials. For this purpose, they form alliances, they fight international wars, but they also have to deal with, for example, uprisings in conquered countries or civil wars, which may explode on their territory. You can also take part in these clashes, although you are also given the opportunity to lead a life as a pacifist who focuses on other activities in the game (for example, running a successful newspaper or selling products).

At the auction you can sell or buy your dream inventory.

E-Sim is a unique browser game. It's creators ensured realistic representation of the mechanisms present in the real world and gave all power to the players who shape the image of the virtual Earth according to their own. So come and join them and help your country achieve its full potential.
