Fighting is a big part of e-Sim. It’s how you will earn XP, rank points and help your country and others. Here I’ll present a short tutorial outlining the key parts of how to fight, fighting bonuses and maybe even some tips!
Fighting
I’ve already explained above about a ‘hit’ costing 10 health. However there is also the ‘Beserk’ button which uses up 5 fights (and 50 health) in one go. Handy for dropping a lot of damage in a short space of time.
This allows users to use up a potential 160 hits in under 2 minutes!
Bonuses
Bonuses are added to your base damage and can really make a difference when it comes to winning a round (or a BH medal). There are a total of 5 bonuses that can affect your damage:
1) Military Unit - If you are in a military unit chances are they’ll have orders set. These are found in the top right of the main page. Depending on the level of the MU, you can earn an additional 20% in damage.
2) Region - It may sound so simple, but being in the right region can add another 20% to your damage. Remember to move to the right region before hitting!
Attacker - If you are attacking a region you need to be in a neighbouring region to gain the bonus
Defender - If defending a region, you need to be in that region to gain the bonus
Resistance War - You need to be in the region the RW is taking place to gain the bonus no matter which side you are on.
3) Defence System (Defender Only) - This can increase a defenders damage by 5-25% depending on the quality of the DS in place.
4) Hospital (Defender Only) - These work slightly differently by reducing the health needed for each hit. It can reduce the amount by up to 2.5 depending on the quality.
5) Surrounded - The only negative bonus. If a country is defending a region (that isn’t a home region) and all other surrounding regions belong to other nations then a Surrounded ‘debuff’ will be added. This reduces your damage by 20%. Remember this can only apply to regions that aren’t a home region.
Winning a Round
Once a round has finished (after 2 hours) the final display looks something like this. In the above demonstration, the UK have won the round by dealing more damage than the Irish. Simple right?
Those who have dealt the most damage on both sides will earn the Battle Hero medal and 5 gold.
The first nation to win 8 rounds claims the region as their own.
Tips!
1) Fight Smart - This is paramount to everything else. Unnecessary damage is a huge waste and not beneficial at all to your country. Don’t bother hitting if there is more than 1 Million damage in difference, unless you absolutely have to. Efficient battles win the war.
2) Move Regions! - Even if you only use a Q1 moving ticket and losing 40 health doesn’t make sense, it really does! The 20% bonus more than makes up for the lost health, trust me
3) Read the shouts - During important battles there will be regular shouts from the government and other citizens with either advice or offering free supplies like food and weapons. It’s so easy to claim these free supplies so make the most of them!
4) Ask Questions - Unsure of where to move? Don’t know if you should hit in this round? Then ask! The UK government are more than happy to answer your questions, especially if it means extra potential in battles. Ask in shouts, on IRC or on the forums. Remember we win wars as a team, the more efficient each individual member the better the overall team will be!
In E-Sim we have a huge, living world, which is a mirror copy of the Earth.
Well, maybe not completely mirrored, because the balance of power in this virtual world looks a bit
different than in real life. In E-Sim, USA does not have to be a world superpower, It can be
efficiently
managed as a much smaller country that has entrepreneurial citizens that support it's foundation.
Everything depends on the players themselves and how they decide to shape the political map of the
game.
Work for the good of your country and
see it rise to an empire.
Activities in this game are divided into several modules.
First is the economy as a citizen in a country of your choice you must work to earn money, which you
will get to spend for example, on food or purchase of weapons which are critical for your progress
as a fighter.
You will work in either private companies which are owned by players or government companies which
are owned by the state.
After progressing in the game you will finally get the opportunity to set up your
own business and hire other players. If it prospers, we can even change it into a joint-stock
company and enter the stock market and get even more money in this way.
In E-Sim, international wars are nothing out of the ordinary.

Become an influential politician.
The second module is a politics. Just like in real life politics
in E-Sim are an extremely powerful tool that can be used for your own purposes.
From time to time there are elections in the game in which you will not only vote, but also have the ability
to run for the head of the party you're in.
You can also apply for congress, where once elected you will be given the right to vote on laws
proposed by your fellow congress members or your president and propose laws yourself.
Voting on laws is important for your country as it can shape the lives of those around you.
You can also try to become the head of a given party, and even take part in presidential
elections and decide on the shape of the foreign policy of a given state
(for example, who to declare war on).
Career in politics is obviously not easy and in order to succeed in it, you have to have
a good plan and compete for the votes of voters.
You can go bankrupt or become a rich man while playing the stock market.
The international war.
The last and probably the most important module is military.
In E-Sim, countries are constantly fighting each other for control
over territories which in return grant them access to more valuable raw materials.
For this purpose, they form alliances, they fight international wars, but they also have
to deal with, for example, uprisings in conquered countries or civil wars, which may explode on
their territory.
You can also take part in these clashes, although you are also given the opportunity to lead a life
as a pacifist
who focuses on other activities in the game (for example, running a successful newspaper or selling
products).
At the auction you can sell or buy your dream inventory.
E-Sim is a unique browser game.
It's creators ensured realistic representation of the mechanisms present
in the real world and gave all power to the players who shape the image of the virtual Earth
according to their own.
So come and join them and help your country achieve its full potential.
