As of posting this, we have entered day 319 by around 3 hours so some things may be a little over updated into day 319 rather than just day 318, so apologies in advance for that .
This week I found American news hard to come by in the form of wars, however America has signed a ton of MPPs and just a little while ago I found out why, as my hunch point towards a new alliance, a new article by president Pfeiffer announced a new alliance! Details will now be presented in 3 main categories, those being the following: War, MPPs, and WN (World News). During Election weeks I will obviously include a fourth, those being new presidents/congressmen, however I will only be covering American political spots. A political slot will also be included when major parties have been added, I will also include details on them. With all that being said let's dive into our nation's news!
When I first created this article in word, I had mentioned NAR, however that part was not saved in the editing process, I would like to apologise for that and thank Miles for pointing that out, however I have now fixed that for everyone.
War
The resistance in Canada - As you may have noticed the resistance war in the Canadian East Coast still rages on in the minds of Canadians, just not the bright ones I'm afraid. Two wars have sparked, the first being around day 314, and another one sparked during the writing of this article... However, these wars haven't been much of a fight, America won the war on Day 314 8-0, and as of writing this article America is stomping Canada in round one one hour into the battle.
The battle at Cork/Kerry - This was simply a, "Training war" that our President decided to create due to the lack of action in America, saving the nation money in order to give us our chance to fight, while I don't agree with staging a resistance on home ground, we still won 8-0 so no real threat was made by the action.
Politics
The North American Republic [NAR] - NAR is a political party, heavily in the Articles this week due to Miles running for the party leader position of the NAR, which he would get a few days later, which also lead to his term acceptance speech, with info on the cabinet included in his paper, as well as a detailed plan for the future. If you haven't checked out Miles' paper, "The Spark" I would like to recommend it to my readers if they happen to be interested in a good party to join (I'm not personally in it). Apart from that, the NAR announced a Credit Union, and a College which offers classes for NAR members. These features seem like a great reason to join up with the NAR, and the leaders really seem to be on the up in the political world, as well as very well versed in the world of E-sim. Details on this will be included in Miles' newspaper, so if you're interested check that out.
MPPs
Anonymous - This was a great move by our government in my opinion, we have kept our peace with Spain, and I really could not be more elated due to this. In times of war loyalty is the most important aspect any country could have, and we cannot create an image for ourselves that suggests we don't stick around when the shit hits the fan, we have to provide brotherhood and love for our allies that do the same for us. Currently the countries that are included in Anonymous are as follows:
Hungary
Indonesia
Italy
Romania
Russia
Spain
USA
Once again I would like to applaud our country for the job that they have done, and for the Americans for pushing this on our gov't.
World News
Bulgaria vs Greece - On Day 318 Bulgaria presented the idea of war with Greece, currently it is pretty close in Vidin, 5-4 Greece with the percentage 50.44% leaning towards Bulgaria... but at any time things could change to one side as currently it is mainly the countries themselves doing the damage, the main back-up role attackers Being America for Greece, and Lithuania for Bulgaria. Prior to this, the spark of the war came from Plovdiv, in which Bulgaria beat Greece 8-0, with the help of Lithuania and Portugal. Since then Bulgaria has conquered Sofia and started a new war in Vidin.
While other wars have popped up, I have decided that this is the main focus of the world in my opinion, with most rounds going well over 10 million total damage by both sides, and as Bulgaria has decided to take back their country I thought that it would be more interesting than reporting on say, the much lower-damage war that is India vs Pakistan.
Final thought - I thought it would be nice to start a new segment, that being the final thought (as you could probably tell). In this I will just explain how I feel about the state of E-America, and give you something to think on.
America is a great nation, through my few months in the E-sim world, I have met the community, and finally started a newspaper in order to spread my opinion, as well as news around our great nation as well as the world. While the resistance in Canada has sparked for as long as I've been a member of the community, I can't say that I can understand the need for seperate country's regions other than greed, but I've always had a, "Live and let live" type of outlook. As we progress and mature as people, and our population, not only as a nation, but as a world continues to grow I think that our congressional and presidential outlooks will change for the better, or be overrun by childish behaviour that will only be detrimental for our society.
War and hatred are rampid in our culture, and in our nature as human beings. People will always preach for peace, however the sad reality is we cannot ever hope for such a delight, so we can only smile and move on with our life doing our best to quarantine the ailment. Do your best to avoid unnecessary confrontation, and do your best to understand the feelings of those you plan on hurting, consulting with your conscience as to how you would feel if you were struck with the weapon you hold stalking the entity you so loathe. Business will be business, and people will be people, following our natural ways are, obviously, in our nature... But this does not mean you cannot strive against that primal instinct. Love and respect one another, and you may gain rewards from your labor.
In E-Sim we have a huge, living world, which is a mirror copy of the Earth.
Well, maybe not completely mirrored, because the balance of power in this virtual world looks a bit
different than in real life. In E-Sim, USA does not have to be a world superpower, It can be
efficiently
managed as a much smaller country that has entrepreneurial citizens that support it's foundation.
Everything depends on the players themselves and how they decide to shape the political map of the
game.
Work for the good of your country and
see it rise to an empire.
Activities in this game are divided into several modules.
First is the economy as a citizen in a country of your choice you must work to earn money, which you
will get to spend for example, on food or purchase of weapons which are critical for your progress
as a fighter.
You will work in either private companies which are owned by players or government companies which
are owned by the state.
After progressing in the game you will finally get the opportunity to set up your
own business and hire other players. If it prospers, we can even change it into a joint-stock
company and enter the stock market and get even more money in this way.
In E-Sim, international wars are nothing out of the ordinary.
"E-Sim is one of the most unique browser games out there"
Become an influential politician.
The second module is a politics. Just like in real life politics
in E-Sim are an extremely powerful tool that can be used for your own purposes.
From time to time there are elections in the game in which you will not only vote, but also have the ability
to run for the head of the party you're in.
You can also apply for congress, where once elected you will be given the right to vote on laws
proposed by your fellow congress members or your president and propose laws yourself.
Voting on laws is important for your country as it can shape the lives of those around you.
You can also try to become the head of a given party, and even take part in presidential
elections and decide on the shape of the foreign policy of a given state
(for example, who to declare war on).
Career in politics is obviously not easy and in order to succeed in it, you have to have
a good plan and compete for the votes of voters.
You can go bankrupt or become a rich man while playing the stock market.
The international war.
The last and probably the most important module is military.
In E-Sim, countries are constantly fighting each other for control
over territories which in return grant them access to more valuable raw materials.
For this purpose, they form alliances, they fight international wars, but they also have
to deal with, for example, uprisings in conquered countries or civil wars, which may explode on
their territory.
You can also take part in these clashes, although you are also given the opportunity to lead a life
as a pacifist
who focuses on other activities in the game (for example, running a successful newspaper or selling
products).
At the auction you can sell or buy your dream inventory.
E-Sim is a unique browser game.
It's creators ensured realistic representation of the mechanisms present
in the real world and gave all power to the players who shape the image of the virtual Earth
according to their own.
So come and join them and help your country achieve its full potential.
Invest, produce and sell - be an entrepreneur in E-Sim.
