Hi!

I've been here for a while now, even though I thought I would quit after Attax ruined my gaming experience. I'm still here, just not very active.

What I have seen lately though is companies being more and more useless. Many people is talking about Q4 Resource are the only Resource Companies that actually give you any real cash nowadays.

The only way to fix this is to either

A. Make stuff more expensive to create.
It's now a inflation of items that no one uses. After you hit ES 7 you usually afford Q5 Food x 10 and a descent amount of Q1 Weaps. The whole strategy behind the game is falling apart, since you don't have to plan your fighting as much anymore.
This doesn't solve the problem with Countries owning Stone/Wood though. Stone and wood are still "useless" compared to Grain, Diamonds and Iron.

Therefor we come to the solution I hope for


B. Introduce a new set of items.

Grain
The grain item could be a way to introduce a new training - Grenade Launcher. Grenade Launchers will not be able to deal as much damage as normal fighting though.

Grenade Launcher Attributes:
Precision - The GL gets better with a new personal attribute: Precision. The higher precision, the higher damage dealt with GL. Strength has nothing to do with GL's damage.
Rounds - You are limited to 5 rounds a day. This means you may only shoot the GL 5 times a day.

Training - Training costs grain (or Field food, that are made out of grain) and will rise the Precision of GL. The amount of Precision the GL will get is far less than a "new human" would get for normal training. But still makes a difference along the way.
Launcher Skilll - This is the same as Rank, but only gives you bonus when you use your Grenade Launcher as attacking device.

Although, Grenade Launchers can use ammo. This takes us to item no. 2


Stone
Stones are now used in the creation of weapons (Splitter Grenades) for GL. As easy as that.
Instead of normal Grenades you now fire with more splitters, more dmg, when you use Splitter Grenades.


Iron
On iron I will introduce barricades. These will have a smaller amount of defensive % than Defence Systems, but they will run on a different mode. It's basically the same as Defence Systems only that Defence Systems got 26//26 and Barricades 26/26 on another scale. To make it easier to understand, you can now have 6 Q3 DS. You will after the update have a possibility to have 6 Q3 DS AND 6 Q3 Barricades. What I also consider being a good way to implement is to have (%DS + %Barricades) instead of (%DS x %Barricades). This will make it more challenging to distribute the Barricades.
To make the barricades more effective for smaller countries: You can only put up Barricades in your core regions.


Wood
This one is hard. I want something that makes the game more cooperative. The whole game breath cooperation, but what I have seen since I stopped playing seriously is that it didn't benefit me very much to be cooperative. Therefor I want to introduce a item that only others can use on you. It gives you health, but you can't give it to yourself. You can receive it 5 times a day. This will also delay the fight from t2 to maybe t3, so you can maximize your damage.(and take a small load off the server)
What this item should be called? No idea.. Wood is really hard to figure out.. Boat, House and Hammers are the only things I can think of when it comes to wood.


Diamonds will stay unchanged. This is since the inflation on this market have still not went totally out of control. If you disagree you can feel free to come up with suggestions on what we should do with this item.

One idea I've had is that you can create hammers/"workers gift" which you can use on your company to make the company produce a little more. This one is really hard to balance though, so I leave it as a quote, but this could be the item for Diamonds.


This update would really update the game and save the economy!

Activities in this game are divided into several modules. First is the economy as a citizen in a country of your choice you must work to earn money, which you will get to spend for example, on food or purchase of weapons which are critical for your progress as a fighter. You will work in either private companies which are owned by players or government companies which are owned by the state. After progressing in the game you will finally get the opportunity to set up your own business and hire other players. If it prospers, we can even change it into a joint-stock company and enter the stock market and get even more money in this way.


In E-Sim, international wars are nothing out of the ordinary.

Become an influential politician.

The second module is a politics. Just like in real life politics in E-Sim are an extremely powerful tool that can be used for your own purposes. From time to time there are elections in the game in which you will not only vote, but also have the ability to run for the head of the party you're in. You can also apply for congress, where once elected you will be given the right to vote on laws proposed by your fellow congress members or your president and propose laws yourself. Voting on laws is important for your country as it can shape the lives of those around you. You can also try to become the head of a given party, and even take part in presidential elections and decide on the shape of the foreign policy of a given state (for example, who to declare war on). Career in politics is obviously not easy and in order to succeed in it, you have to have a good plan and compete for the votes of voters.


You can go bankrupt or become a rich man while playing the stock market.

The international war.

The last and probably the most important module is military. In E-Sim, countries are constantly fighting each other for control over territories which in return grant them access to more valuable raw materials. For this purpose, they form alliances, they fight international wars, but they also have to deal with, for example, uprisings in conquered countries or civil wars, which may explode on their territory. You can also take part in these clashes, although you are also given the opportunity to lead a life as a pacifist who focuses on other activities in the game (for example, running a successful newspaper or selling products).


At the auction you can sell or buy your dream inventory.
