Today I interviewed one of the top UK citizens who has been involved in almost every aspect of the UK. Carry on reading for more info!
Hi there Soly, how’s it going?
Not too bad thanks. A little busy, but I've always got time for an interview with my liege, the King.
Good to hear, shall we get started?
Yes
You were one of the first UK citizens in e-Sim, how do you feel the country and its citizens have developed in this time?
I think we've chugged along nicely. We have a middle sized, fairly active population. In addition we have a number of strong well known faces. We do however need a baby-boom. We also have 2 high regions which is useful
I think that's something a lot of UK citizens can agree on! What do you feel is your biggest accomplishment in the game so far?
Hmmmm. I'm torn between Bonkers, which I am a co-leader of (most powerful MU in the UK) and in the top 40 in the whole world; and the founding of SIGMA which occurred during my term as president.
That's an impressive CV, Bonkers seems to be your main focus now, is this true? Can you tell me a bit about the direction that the MU is heading in?
Yes Bonkers will be my main priority, certainly for the next month or so anyway. We are looking to increase our supplies (which is requiring a lot of pondering on gdocs). I thought I'd cracked it the other day, until I realised I'd got a decimal point in the wrong place. I was not happy I can certainly tell you
Haha, let down by some basic maths eh?
Yep
Now, to make things interesting, who would you say are your favourite UK citizens?
Ooh interesting. Well Smack and Ranf are probs my main bro's in game. Who doesn't love our resident stoner, Mortalbeta? Hmm others, Raxx is always entertaining. Oh, I mustn't forget the King
Of course, that could have some serious consequences
Indeed
I won't ask you for your worst, that could cause some arguments! Taking into account every aspect of the game, which do you think appeals to you the most?
Probably the military/government side of things, although I'm taking a break from government this month. I'll still offer some support to Smack if he needs it though. I am also helping Reincarnate out in his new stock company *shameless plug
Your own time as CP went very well, did you feel that the experience you gained as MoFA helped you in the position?
Yes I think it did, as I was already prepared for the interaction with foreign citizens, and general diplomacy that being CP entails (and I already had a relationship with many of the CPs I had to work with)
Of course, given your own experience in the cabinet, would you recommend a minister role to other citizens?
Being a minister is a stressful and time consuming job. But it is certainly rewarding. If you feel you can give the time and energy needed to help your country, go for it
Activity is pretty stagnant in the UK currently, how do you feel this has impacted the country in relation to others?
I think some of the stagnation is a simple side effect of it being summer in the Northern Hemisphere and people (foolishly) realising that RL is > any online game. The UK has suffered more than most I think. Sadly :'(
That’s true. And finally, if you could add one thing to the game, what would it be?
Only one thing ? Hmmm. Toughy as I have quite a few ideas. Being able to choose a system of government would be fantastic, rather than boring old democracy. Absolute Monarchy FTFW eh :p
That would be a great feature, although very open to abuse!
Thanks a lot for your time Soly
Thank you. Now back to my nefarious schemes
So there you have it folks, a little inside look into the mind of a top UK citizen. If there’s anything to learn from this, it’s that Soly can’t do maths!
Stay tuned for more exciting/not exciting interviews!
In E-Sim we have a huge, living world, which is a mirror copy of the Earth.
Well, maybe not completely mirrored, because the balance of power in this virtual world looks a bit
different than in real life. In E-Sim, USA does not have to be a world superpower, It can be
efficiently
managed as a much smaller country that has entrepreneurial citizens that support it's foundation.
Everything depends on the players themselves and how they decide to shape the political map of the
game.
Work for the good of your country and
see it rise to an empire.
Activities in this game are divided into several modules.
First is the economy as a citizen in a country of your choice you must work to earn money, which you
will get to spend for example, on food or purchase of weapons which are critical for your progress
as a fighter.
You will work in either private companies which are owned by players or government companies which
are owned by the state.
After progressing in the game you will finally get the opportunity to set up your
own business and hire other players. If it prospers, we can even change it into a joint-stock
company and enter the stock market and get even more money in this way.
In E-Sim, international wars are nothing out of the ordinary.

Become an influential politician.
The second module is a politics. Just like in real life politics
in E-Sim are an extremely powerful tool that can be used for your own purposes.
From time to time there are elections in the game in which you will not only vote, but also have the ability
to run for the head of the party you're in.
You can also apply for congress, where once elected you will be given the right to vote on laws
proposed by your fellow congress members or your president and propose laws yourself.
Voting on laws is important for your country as it can shape the lives of those around you.
You can also try to become the head of a given party, and even take part in presidential
elections and decide on the shape of the foreign policy of a given state
(for example, who to declare war on).
Career in politics is obviously not easy and in order to succeed in it, you have to have
a good plan and compete for the votes of voters.
You can go bankrupt or become a rich man while playing the stock market.
The international war.
The last and probably the most important module is military.
In E-Sim, countries are constantly fighting each other for control
over territories which in return grant them access to more valuable raw materials.
For this purpose, they form alliances, they fight international wars, but they also have
to deal with, for example, uprisings in conquered countries or civil wars, which may explode on
their territory.
You can also take part in these clashes, although you are also given the opportunity to lead a life
as a pacifist
who focuses on other activities in the game (for example, running a successful newspaper or selling
products).
At the auction you can sell or buy your dream inventory.
E-Sim is a unique browser game.
It's creators ensured realistic representation of the mechanisms present
in the real world and gave all power to the players who shape the image of the virtual Earth
according to their own.
So come and join them and help your country achieve its full potential.
Invest, produce and sell - be an entrepreneur in E-Sim.
Take part in numerous events for the E-Sim community.
