The question reminds me of a small joke if you don’t mind me sharing this with you all.
Joke Time!:
A little boy goes to his dad and asks, "What is politics?"
Dad says, "Well son, let me try to explain it this way: I'm the breadwinner of the family, so let's call me capitalism. Your Mom, she's the administrator of the money, so we'll call her the Government. We're here to take care of your needs, so we'll call you the people. The nanny, we'll consider her the Working Class. And your baby brother, we'll call him the Future. Now, think about that and see if that makes sense,"
So the little boy goes off to bed thinking about what dad had said.
Later that night, he hears his baby brother crying, so he gets up to check on him. He finds that the baby has severely soiled his diaper. So the little boy goes to his parents' room and finds his mother sound asleep. Not wanting to wake her, he goes to the nanny's room. Finding the door locked, he peeks in the keyhole and sees his father in bed with the nanny. He gives up and goes back to bed. The next morning, the little boy says to his father, "Dad, I think I understand the concept of politics now."
The father says, "Good son, tell me in your own words what you think politics is all about."
The little boy replies, "Well, while Capitalism is screwing the Working Class, the Government is sound asleep, the People are being ignored and the Future is in deep poo."
Now on a serious note:
I felt it was imperative to take the time to sit down with Miles Trotsky who is the leader of one of the well established Political Parties (NAR) to share his views with America.
The bold are my questions; regular text is NAR Party leader answers Miles Trotsky .
Interview:
1.) Would America's political process be better without political parties/could our government function without them?
The American political process wouldn't be better without political parties; parties introduce new players to network of friends and supporters. The function of the parties builds community within that network and helps those players grow comfortable with the ins and outs of e-sim. Parties help citizens have a voice when it comes to the current issues that face eUSA.
2.) What is the most important role does a leader of a political party have in your opinion?
The most important role of party leader is communicating with members and finding the out what they need and getting that for them.
3.) What is your biggest concern among all political parties to include your own?
My biggest concern is the new stock market module, how easy it has become for American citizens to be ripped off by the wealthier player. We need a Wall Street reform act.
4.) Do you feel that the citizens of the US have been heard when it comes to their issues?
Yes, American citizens have a voice and they have been heard only as a whisper but members of NAR have been heard loud and clear.
5.) What do you look for in a congressman candidate?
I look for a candidate who is a player who is on daily, knows about the current events, need to be respectfully and always keep their word. The most important thing to me is if a person can keep their word because that’s all we have.
6.) If you had 10,000Gold, what would you do with it?
Easy i would make a nonprofit q5 food, q5 gifts q5 weapons companies and hire employees. With loan it out to young members of NAR.
Author's Summary:
It seems beyond doubt amongst the community that political parties – by the way not only in the progressive spectrum – have lost most of their vitality and social roots. Political parties are often perceived as detached from the lives and worries of the common citizens and mostly interested in their own objectives rather than the aims of the people they seek to represent.
But political parties are still – and will remain – crucial for a functioning democracy. There are however a few good men who unmoving believe in our Nation and Everything it stands in support of and will fight for the good reputation of our loyal citizens.
Editor's Summary:
It is apparent that Miles Trotsky still has devout faith in political parties. But the real question is what do you think? Do you believe that we need a new era, one with fresh parties, and varying political views? And what do you think of today's parties? Please, tell us what you think in the comments below.
In E-Sim we have a huge, living world, which is a mirror copy of the Earth.
Well, maybe not completely mirrored, because the balance of power in this virtual world looks a bit
different than in real life. In E-Sim, USA does not have to be a world superpower, It can be
efficiently
managed as a much smaller country that has entrepreneurial citizens that support it's foundation.
Everything depends on the players themselves and how they decide to shape the political map of the
game.
Work for the good of your country and
see it rise to an empire.
Activities in this game are divided into several modules.
First is the economy as a citizen in a country of your choice you must work to earn money, which you
will get to spend for example, on food or purchase of weapons which are critical for your progress
as a fighter.
You will work in either private companies which are owned by players or government companies which
are owned by the state.
After progressing in the game you will finally get the opportunity to set up your
own business and hire other players. If it prospers, we can even change it into a joint-stock
company and enter the stock market and get even more money in this way.
In E-Sim, international wars are nothing out of the ordinary.
"E-Sim is one of the most unique browser games out there"
Become an influential politician.
The second module is a politics. Just like in real life politics
in E-Sim are an extremely powerful tool that can be used for your own purposes.
From time to time there are elections in the game in which you will not only vote, but also have the ability
to run for the head of the party you're in.
You can also apply for congress, where once elected you will be given the right to vote on laws
proposed by your fellow congress members or your president and propose laws yourself.
Voting on laws is important for your country as it can shape the lives of those around you.
You can also try to become the head of a given party, and even take part in presidential
elections and decide on the shape of the foreign policy of a given state
(for example, who to declare war on).
Career in politics is obviously not easy and in order to succeed in it, you have to have
a good plan and compete for the votes of voters.
You can go bankrupt or become a rich man while playing the stock market.
The international war.
The last and probably the most important module is military.
In E-Sim, countries are constantly fighting each other for control
over territories which in return grant them access to more valuable raw materials.
For this purpose, they form alliances, they fight international wars, but they also have
to deal with, for example, uprisings in conquered countries or civil wars, which may explode on
their territory.
You can also take part in these clashes, although you are also given the opportunity to lead a life
as a pacifist
who focuses on other activities in the game (for example, running a successful newspaper or selling
products).
At the auction you can sell or buy your dream inventory.
E-Sim is a unique browser game.
It's creators ensured realistic representation of the mechanisms present
in the real world and gave all power to the players who shape the image of the virtual Earth
according to their own.
So come and join them and help your country achieve its full potential.
Invest, produce and sell - be an entrepreneur in E-Sim.
Take part in numerous events for the E-Sim community.
