The last few days have exploded with information on the world stage. For starters Lithuania has left Alpha with over 80% of their citizens approving of this notion in the referendum. Does this change anything? Well as the Lithuanians cite lack of coordination for their reasoning behind leaving Alpha but still wish to hold MPPs with Alpha countries it is unlikely to change much. However some conspiracy theorists, out there in foreign countries, claim that this is the beginning of a Polish-Lithuanian confederacy... again? Their last one lasted two days and ended with an impeachment for those that don’t remember.
On the lighter side of Lithuania, apparently one of their members hacked, or at least benefited from the hacking of, the serbian org. As a result, Serbia, who has had a troll-countertroll battle with Lithuanian MU Bay, witnessed a article by their org praising Bay. The article concludes with possibly the funniest thing of all, that the account was not in fact hacked, but sold. That’s right ladies and gents somebody in Serbia with access to the org allegedly sold the password to Lithuanians for trolling purposes.
Remember Russia? Those guys that used to rule the West Coast with an iron fist? Well about a month ago we overthrew them with coordination from our allies followed by Poland conquering and occupying Russia. Well fast forward to present day and apparently the Ruskies have finally convinced the Polish to give them some land back. The NAP is pretty simple, Russia pays Poland 600 gold and gets back every region except Western Russia. Then Poland pays Russia 200 gold for Western Russia and if the NAP is broken Poland will receive 200 gold via contract. Seems pretty good at a base level, but in reality it isn’t the best as Russia doesn’t have any high regions as long as Poland holds Western Russia.

Government Interview
Last issue those of you who bothered to vote resoundingly suggested two people to be interviewed; Pike and my very own mother! As my mother holds no position in this government we shall be ignoring her and interviewing Pike.
Q1: When'd you start eSim and what was your first interest?
A1: I started about 3 months ago, and I originally started to get Leroy Combs his referral gold, but I got interested since I was working with Liquid HOMICIDE and the folks that started NAF.
Q2: How'd you end up in charge of the US Army?
A2: I joined US Army based on Liquid HOMICIDE's recommendation I believe. After Liquid HOMICIDE became the CP he had sheepshag hand control over to him. When I hit level 10 LH was ready to hand over the reigns, originally FilthyRich / Eltist was going to be the leader, but I was leveling faster than FR was so I took the seat.
Q3: Why'd you jump over to Bonkers for a few days?
A3: A few days? Fluffy paid for my spot so I took him up on his generous offer.
Q4: Any promising newbies out there you'd like to see gain some recognition?
A4: I think NathanP is an unsung hero of sorts. He is a wizard with the US Army commune system.
Q5: New SG of Sigma eh? What's your goals in respect to that?
A5: Yes I got the "call" about 20 hours ago. I want to work with the members of SIGMA and get us into a top notch fighting force and make sure we can reclaim all the natural regions of our member nations.

Operation Malnutrition
While the Malik personally would not care if you died of hunger, his top advisers (now deceased) informed him that a malnourished population produced 100% more items than a dead population. So, Khaled decided that it would be a great thing too have a government program to feed the hungry and to keep away those pesky Western internet activists.

The Malik’s Writing Prize
Seeing as we are an accepting (and slightly overarching) goverment, we are offering prizes to the more intelligent members of our society (to entice them into revealing themselves.) This will be very similar to last month’s “Pulitzer Prize” -- but the Malik thought it best if we got rid of that Hungarian-American and instead replaced the namesake with a more intelligent person (i.e. our great leader, Khaled Ibrahim)

Country Spotlight: Turkey
With the apparent incoming breakup of Alpha, today’s country spotlight has been hand picked as an Alpha country. Turkey, once considered a strong country, has found herself a victim of the breakup and disorganization associated with Alpha. Surrounded by enemies, and with their closest ally securing an NAP with these enemy countries, Turkey has been invaded, conquered, and occupied by Israel and Ukraine. Just a few, short months ago Turkey was gladly taking and holding 90% of Israel’s territory without any real trouble. About the game:
USA as a world power? In E-Sim it is possible!
In E-Sim we have a huge, living world, which is a mirror copy of the Earth. Well, maybe not completely mirrored, because the balance of power in this virtual world looks a bit different than in real life. In E-Sim, USA does not have to be a world superpower, It can be efficiently managed as a much smaller country that has entrepreneurial citizens that support it's foundation. Everything depends on the players themselves and how they decide to shape the political map of the game.
Work for the good of your country and see it rise to an empire.
Activities in this game are divided into several modules. First is the economy as a citizen in a country of your choice you must work to earn money, which you will get to spend for example, on food or purchase of weapons which are critical for your progress as a fighter. You will work in either private companies which are owned by players or government companies which are owned by the state. After progressing in the game you will finally get the opportunity to set up your own business and hire other players. If it prospers, we can even change it into a joint-stock company and enter the stock market and get even more money in this way.
In E-Sim, international wars are nothing out of the ordinary.
Become an influential politician.
The second module is a politics. Just like in real life politics in E-Sim are an extremely powerful tool that can be used for your own purposes. From time to time there are elections in the game in which you will not only vote, but also have the ability to run for the head of the party you're in. You can also apply for congress, where once elected you will be given the right to vote on laws proposed by your fellow congress members or your president and propose laws yourself. Voting on laws is important for your country as it can shape the lives of those around you. You can also try to become the head of a given party, and even take part in presidential elections and decide on the shape of the foreign policy of a given state (for example, who to declare war on). Career in politics is obviously not easy and in order to succeed in it, you have to have a good plan and compete for the votes of voters.
You can go bankrupt or become a rich man while playing the stock market.
The international war.
The last and probably the most important module is military. In E-Sim, countries are constantly fighting each other for control over territories which in return grant them access to more valuable raw materials. For this purpose, they form alliances, they fight international wars, but they also have to deal with, for example, uprisings in conquered countries or civil wars, which may explode on their territory. You can also take part in these clashes, although you are also given the opportunity to lead a life as a pacifist who focuses on other activities in the game (for example, running a successful newspaper or selling products).
At the auction you can sell or buy your dream inventory.
E-Sim is a unique browser game. It's creators ensured realistic representation of the mechanisms present in the real world and gave all power to the players who shape the image of the virtual Earth according to their own. So come and join them and help your country achieve its full potential.
