Minister of home affairs: Freeck
The basics
- This month Home Affairs will be based on increasing activity in eUK
- I will be providing funding for activities such as quizzes
- I would also like to make the recent Census a monthly thing
- This month I will involve the wider community much more by releasing regular updates
- I would like as many people as possible to help out with recruitment
The details
I will be looking for my MoHA to be messaging everybody in eUK informing them of the forums and irc, at the time of writing we have around 25 - 40 active members of the community by the end of my term i aim to get that to 50+.
I believe this month we have enough money to offer small prizes for a number of activities within the community, these activities will include quizzes and a range of forum games.
In the last few days freeck has been organising a census, this is something i will be looking to continue into the long term future. After reading the results it has shown me a number of ways in which i was perhaps a little bit slack, eg releasing articles describing updates. A large target of mine will be to communicate with the masses with regular Presidential Announcements and daily MoD orders. Every single citizen has the right to know what's going on in the e-UK, so regular updates as well as special announcements will be hitting the media with full force, if I'm elected for president, letting you know about the e-UK's alliances, economy, political issues and military.

Recruitment is only succsesful if everybody is working towards the same goal therefore i will be looking to freeck to manage the recruitment but everybody to pitch in. This doesnt mean i will not be doing any myself, whenever i can i will be helping out. however me and freeck cant do it alone so any help will be gratefully recieved.

Minister of Finance: Ilestis
Basics
- The main job of the MoF will be to review taxes although please do not expect radical changes in this sector
- I will also expect the Minister of Finance to offer advice to the public about what companies to buy and at what times
The details:
Over this last month finances have been tough as i have asked Ilestis to create a tax system from scratch, Fortunattley he is a real expert so managed it without to much trouble. However this month I see it being much easier.
This month i will be expecting the Ilestis to constantly review taxes, a particully contentious issue this month has been the level of import tax on food and gifts. We will be reviewing this asap.
I expect the MoF to be keeping track of prices of gold and products within the UK, not only to keep prices steady but to also be able to offer advice on which companies to buy, This is important because with such a small economy 1 company can make a huge difference to the future of the UK.
I have seen a few questions asking me how i will get 150gold, well here it is:
UK creates around 220 Q3 food a day
UK gives out around 100 Q3 food a day in supplies
That leaves 120 Q3 food a day
We can sell 100 of this for around 5 gold a day
UK also produces around 800 excess grain every day
we can sell this for around 3.5 gold every day
so thats 8.5 gold of income a day from products alone
Despite admins no longer putting up offers on the monetary market we can still buy up around 5-10 gold from it every day
however this is limitted to the amount of GBP we have, so the maximum we can get out of this is around 40 gold.
therefore using my maths skills that works out to be 150 gold in around 13 days.
We must also consider that UK currently has 6MPP's , 3 of which expire within this time zone (im counting bulgaria within this) I will be pessimistic from a financial point of view and say we renew all 3 of them.and i will be pessimistic again and say MPP's will cost 20 gold by this point. This adds 60 gold to expenses adding 7 days to the length of time taken to get this gold. So I predict we will be able to upgrade food to Q4 and gifts (assuming we get them off of castoriousBG) to Q3 by congress elections on the 25th of october.
UK as a country should be saving as much money as possible, we are a small country with a small income this means we cannot afford to waste any money at all I will personally be keeping track of all expenditure however i do want Ilestis to be doing this as much as possible. Since you all know money doesnt grow on trees,

About the game:
USA as a world power? In E-Sim it is possible!
In E-Sim we have a huge, living world, which is a mirror copy of the Earth. Well, maybe not completely mirrored, because the balance of power in this virtual world looks a bit different than in real life. In E-Sim, USA does not have to be a world superpower, It can be efficiently managed as a much smaller country that has entrepreneurial citizens that support it's foundation. Everything depends on the players themselves and how they decide to shape the political map of the game.
Work for the good of your country and see it rise to an empire.
Activities in this game are divided into several modules. First is the economy as a citizen in a country of your choice you must work to earn money, which you will get to spend for example, on food or purchase of weapons which are critical for your progress as a fighter. You will work in either private companies which are owned by players or government companies which are owned by the state. After progressing in the game you will finally get the opportunity to set up your own business and hire other players. If it prospers, we can even change it into a joint-stock company and enter the stock market and get even more money in this way.
In E-Sim, international wars are nothing out of the ordinary.
Become an influential politician.
The second module is a politics. Just like in real life politics in E-Sim are an extremely powerful tool that can be used for your own purposes. From time to time there are elections in the game in which you will not only vote, but also have the ability to run for the head of the party you're in. You can also apply for congress, where once elected you will be given the right to vote on laws proposed by your fellow congress members or your president and propose laws yourself. Voting on laws is important for your country as it can shape the lives of those around you. You can also try to become the head of a given party, and even take part in presidential elections and decide on the shape of the foreign policy of a given state (for example, who to declare war on). Career in politics is obviously not easy and in order to succeed in it, you have to have a good plan and compete for the votes of voters.
You can go bankrupt or become a rich man while playing the stock market.
The international war.
The last and probably the most important module is military. In E-Sim, countries are constantly fighting each other for control over territories which in return grant them access to more valuable raw materials. For this purpose, they form alliances, they fight international wars, but they also have to deal with, for example, uprisings in conquered countries or civil wars, which may explode on their territory. You can also take part in these clashes, although you are also given the opportunity to lead a life as a pacifist who focuses on other activities in the game (for example, running a successful newspaper or selling products).
At the auction you can sell or buy your dream inventory.
E-Sim is a unique browser game. It's creators ensured realistic representation of the mechanisms present in the real world and gave all power to the players who shape the image of the virtual Earth according to their own. So come and join them and help your country achieve its full potential.
