Well, it's been a bit since I last made an article; I didn't really have a lot to say I suppose would be the primary reason. I've also been fairly busy, thus the theme song for this article, between RL work, and then various in game duties I haven't had as much time as I'd like to devote to writing!
On to the important stuff though, it has been a productive few days I am glad to say. After Congress discussed The Mentor Program I wanted to see started it was brought to my attention that as it does not require any funding it's not a Congressional Issue, it is on the Executive to handle it. On that note I am pretty pleased because I know our fearless leader
Khaled Ibrahim is a fan of the idea, and I trust it is just a matter of time before a Mentor Program is initiated to be run by 
Feefaroni under the banner of the Department of Education. I know Feefaroni (Fionia as she is known on IRC) pretty well at this point, and I know she'll do a fantastic job with this program. She is one of the most dedicated and hard working members of government I know, and I know she will give it her all!
On to other current events, as I am sure everyone knows at this point America declared war on Portugal the other day and attacked them in Cork/Kerry. For those of you that do not know Cork/Kerry was a region of Irelands, and Portugal attacked it because it was a gateway to Shannon, Irelands high iron region that is currently controlled by the UK. Both Ireland and the UK are members of Sigma, after Portugal won Cork/Kerry they started a Resistance War in Shannon, in the hopes of putting the region back into Irelands control so that they could attack it without having to declare war on the UK. Portugal was the aggressor in this situation, I realize that often to help your allies you go to defend them; this was a bit of a special case however. As a result we declared war on Portugal to retake Cork/Kerry for them, and essentially knock them out of the Ireland/United Kingdom area, and to better defend them. This also holds a strategic level of importance for the US as Cork/Kerry also borders Canada East Coast, and had Portugal wanted to they could have used it as a staging ground to attack America there. We chose to be proactive. We shall see what happens next here, this shows the world however the lengths we are willing to go to aid our Allies, and to do damage for Sigma. This was an important battle, and a hard-fought one. Portugal held the advantage throughout much of the battle due to the quick nature of our declaration, and many of our strongest Military Units were already set to defend Shannon, it made coordination a bit more difficult at first, and Portugal took advantage of it. It was not until we were far behind in the battle that America truly kicked it into high gear, and came roaring back, stealing victory from the jaws of defeat. We owe a debt of gratitude to our allies throughout the world, including Sweden, Spain, UK, Mexico, Slovenia, China, Ireland, France, and all of the others that came to our assistance. Could not have done this without our brothers in arms!
Beyond the war, and the work I have been doing lately I am rather pleased to say that Khaled, our current President, will be running for office again next term, and has asked me to be his Secretary of Defense. I hope that I can live up to his high expectations, and do even half as good a job as
Snowball the Dinosaur the amount of work Pike has done behind the scenes to help America reach the next level is tremendous, I have some very big, dino-sized shoes to fill, and promise you America, that if Khaled wins I will do my best to keep America growing stronger and on the right path.
Lastly America, in light of the fact that it appears the Mentor Program is a go I am out of Congress work to do! That's actually not entirely true, there is always work to do, however I have no more personal goals, so I am asking you again, what do you hope to see from Congress? Give me some suggestions and I will do what I can to make it happen if it's feasible, and practical. We Congress people live to serve you, but we can't serve you completely if we don't know what you want, and it's easy at times to forget about some of the issues that affect others. So please feel free to send me a message, or comment here I'll certainly look into it if you have a suggestion.

USA as a world power? In E-Sim it is possible!
In E-Sim we have a huge, living world, which is a mirror copy of the Earth. Well, maybe not completely mirrored, because the balance of power in this virtual world looks a bit different than in real life. In E-Sim, USA does not have to be a world superpower, It can be efficiently managed as a much smaller country that has entrepreneurial citizens that support it's foundation. Everything depends on the players themselves and how they decide to shape the political map of the game.
Work for the good of your country and see it rise to an empire.
Activities in this game are divided into several modules. First is the economy as a citizen in a country of your choice you must work to earn money, which you will get to spend for example, on food or purchase of weapons which are critical for your progress as a fighter. You will work in either private companies which are owned by players or government companies which are owned by the state. After progressing in the game you will finally get the opportunity to set up your own business and hire other players. If it prospers, we can even change it into a joint-stock company and enter the stock market and get even more money in this way.
In E-Sim, international wars are nothing out of the ordinary.
Become an influential politician.
The second module is a politics. Just like in real life politics in E-Sim are an extremely powerful tool that can be used for your own purposes. From time to time there are elections in the game in which you will not only vote, but also have the ability to run for the head of the party you're in. You can also apply for congress, where once elected you will be given the right to vote on laws proposed by your fellow congress members or your president and propose laws yourself. Voting on laws is important for your country as it can shape the lives of those around you. You can also try to become the head of a given party, and even take part in presidential elections and decide on the shape of the foreign policy of a given state (for example, who to declare war on). Career in politics is obviously not easy and in order to succeed in it, you have to have a good plan and compete for the votes of voters.
You can go bankrupt or become a rich man while playing the stock market.
The international war.
The last and probably the most important module is military. In E-Sim, countries are constantly fighting each other for control over territories which in return grant them access to more valuable raw materials. For this purpose, they form alliances, they fight international wars, but they also have to deal with, for example, uprisings in conquered countries or civil wars, which may explode on their territory. You can also take part in these clashes, although you are also given the opportunity to lead a life as a pacifist who focuses on other activities in the game (for example, running a successful newspaper or selling products).
At the auction you can sell or buy your dream inventory.
E-Sim is a unique browser game. It's creators ensured realistic representation of the mechanisms present in the real world and gave all power to the players who shape the image of the virtual Earth according to their own. So come and join them and help your country achieve its full potential.
