Hello fellow Americans!

This article is a proposal for a study that I think would prove very informative to the US and her allies when it comes to battle plans, if something like this has not already been done. While fighting for Sweden, I noticed a similarity between the two battles in Gotaland and Svealand. At the day change, Lithuania led Sweden by a couple battles, but the rounds that immediately followed seemed to fall, sometimes heavily, in Sweden's favor. However, I woke up the next day to see that after about 2 rounds of the Sweden rebound, Lithuania had come back and won almost (if not every) round after that. This made me wonder about each side's activity throughout the day, and how that affected each round.

What if it were possible to map out the battle activity of a country throughout the course of an e-sim day? What if we could use that information to plan attacks and get an advantage in battles by attacking countries when their activity is low and our activity was high? How would this work?

Well in order to win a battle, you must win 8, two hour long rounds before your opponent does. Since there are 24 hours in a day, that makes 12 rounds per day. Now, assume there are two countries fighting each other, country BLUE and country RED. Half of the day country BLUE dominates, while the other half, country RED does. Depending on what time of day the battle is started, a different country will end up victorious!

In each circular diagram depicted, the circle is divided into 12 segments (for 12 rounds in a day). The blue segments are the rounds where country BLUE dominates and vice versa for the red segments. In each portion, a line indicates the battle starting time, where time travels in the clockwise direction. The numbers are there to track how many wins each country has as time goes on, and as you can see, the final outcome can be changed based on when the battle was started. If you read the diagrams correctly, you would see that in the one on the left, BLUE went up 2-0 before falling behind 2-6, and then coming back to win 8-6. In the one on the right, RED went up 0-6, then BLUE tied it up 6-6, and finally RED won 2 more to finally win 6-8.

It should be stated that this is a VERY simplified situation. In reality, one would have to take into account other factors that could affect battle activity, such as number of other battles the country is distributing damage between, the motivation behind fighting for the region (if its a high region or the battle was subsidized more people would participate), attacking allies, strategically holding damage, etc. The diagrams are there just to prove that by assuming changing activities throughout the day, the outcome of the battle can be determined based on when the battle was initiated.

By finding a means of measuring a country's activity throughout a given day, one could potentially know the maximum effort a single country could give at certain times of the day and design battle plans around this principle. This does not have to be limited to theoretical one on one battles either, but applied to a more realistic battle involving multiple countries by summing their activities for a certain time. While I bet people are already aware of the changing activities and how to use them in battle, this explanation serves as a necessary introduction to the study I want to propose, though because this article is getting rather long, I will leave the details for the next one.

About the game:

USA as a world power? In E-Sim it is possible!

In E-Sim we have a huge, living world, which is a mirror copy of the Earth. Well, maybe not completely mirrored, because the balance of power in this virtual world looks a bit different than in real life. In E-Sim, USA does not have to be a world superpower, It can be efficiently managed as a much smaller country that has entrepreneurial citizens that support it's foundation. Everything depends on the players themselves and how they decide to shape the political map of the game.

Work for the good of your country and see it rise to an empire.

Activities in this game are divided into several modules. First is the economy as a citizen in a country of your choice you must work to earn money, which you will get to spend for example, on food or purchase of weapons which are critical for your progress as a fighter. You will work in either private companies which are owned by players or government companies which are owned by the state. After progressing in the game you will finally get the opportunity to set up your own business and hire other players. If it prospers, we can even change it into a joint-stock company and enter the stock market and get even more money in this way.

In E-Sim, international wars are nothing out of the ordinary.

Become an influential politician.

The second module is a politics. Just like in real life politics in E-Sim are an extremely powerful tool that can be used for your own purposes. From time to time there are elections in the game in which you will not only vote, but also have the ability to run for the head of the party you're in. You can also apply for congress, where once elected you will be given the right to vote on laws proposed by your fellow congress members or your president and propose laws yourself. Voting on laws is important for your country as it can shape the lives of those around you. You can also try to become the head of a given party, and even take part in presidential elections and decide on the shape of the foreign policy of a given state (for example, who to declare war on). Career in politics is obviously not easy and in order to succeed in it, you have to have a good plan and compete for the votes of voters.

You can go bankrupt or become a rich man while playing the stock market.

The international war.

The last and probably the most important module is military. In E-Sim, countries are constantly fighting each other for control over territories which in return grant them access to more valuable raw materials. For this purpose, they form alliances, they fight international wars, but they also have to deal with, for example, uprisings in conquered countries or civil wars, which may explode on their territory. You can also take part in these clashes, although you are also given the opportunity to lead a life as a pacifist who focuses on other activities in the game (for example, running a successful newspaper or selling products).

At the auction you can sell or buy your dream inventory.

E-Sim is a unique browser game. It's creators ensured realistic representation of the mechanisms present in the real world and gave all power to the players who shape the image of the virtual Earth according to their own. So come and join them and help your country achieve its full potential.
