Hoy me gustaría abrir un nuevo debate sobre la conveniencia o no de tener una moneda fuerte.




El transfondo macroeconómico e-SIM...

El sistema económico en e que está basado e-Sim adolece de los mismos defectos que su fuente de inspiración (que supongo todos o casi todos conocéis):

* Producción ilimitada (se pueden crear y explotar indefinidamente todos tipo de empresas)

* Consumo limitado por ciudadanos

Este sistema va bien cuando la población crece y sobre todo, si lo hace a buen ritmo.

Ahora, ¿qué pasa cuando la población crece despacio o se estanca?.... Exacto: Los stocks se incrementan y los precios caen... y como no hay suficiente mano de obra, los salarios no bajan y las empresas entran en pérdidas y cierran (lo que a su vez hace que muchos jugadores abandonen, agravándose el problema)



No temáis, todavía estamos muy lejos del colapso económico y siempre se podrá introducir medidas que se están demostrando eficaces en otros "viejos/nuevos mundos"...


Un problema matemático....

Existe la limitación a 2 en el número de decimales que se pueden utilizar a la hora de fijar de las mercancias. El valor de esa centésima de moneda local es muy diferente si el cambio de un GOLD está a 12, 20, 33 o 50 unidades de moneda local




... y nuestra realidad económica

Señores, reconozcámoslo: en e-Sim somos un país de importadores. Las materias primas son la base de toda la economía y, en eso nuestro país es una desgracia, salvo que algún día aprendamos a hacer fuego con la leña....

Pero también somo un país con un número de población, y de consumo, respetable. Y por ello, deberíamos ser un país objetivo de todos los exportadores del mundo y deberíamos darles las mayores facilidades para que entraran en una guerra de precios en nuestro mercado.

Por lo que he observado en otros mercados, Un vendedor no está muy predispuesto a bajar un 0,01 LTL (cambio 1/20) en el precio del Hierro, pero sí un 0,02 USD (Cambio 1/50).




Conclusión

Para potenciar las importaciones y favorecer la competencia de precios de los exportadores que desean vender en nuestros mercados, me declaro firmemente a favor de devaluar nuestra moneda nacional hacia un cambio de:

1 GOLD = 50 ESP


Método de aplicación

Yo, personalmente, haría el cambio a una fecha fija, con un reajuste único y total. Esto implicaría:

* Retirada de todas las ofertas de cambio GOLD/ESP por debajo del cambio 1/50

* Reajuste de salarios

* Reajuste de precios de mercancia

* Emisión de un 33% más de moneda nacional

Sí, es un buen lío,... pero seguro que pillamos a más de un vendedor despistado (sobre todo de los países ricos) con una buena bolsa en ESP que de repente, valdrán un tercio menos.

Activities in this game are divided into several modules. First is the economy as a citizen in a country of your choice you must work to earn money, which you will get to spend for example, on food or purchase of weapons which are critical for your progress as a fighter. You will work in either private companies which are owned by players or government companies which are owned by the state. After progressing in the game you will finally get the opportunity to set up your own business and hire other players. If it prospers, we can even change it into a joint-stock company and enter the stock market and get even more money in this way.


In E-Sim, international wars are nothing out of the ordinary.

Become an influential politician.

The second module is a politics. Just like in real life politics in E-Sim are an extremely powerful tool that can be used for your own purposes. From time to time there are elections in the game in which you will not only vote, but also have the ability to run for the head of the party you're in. You can also apply for congress, where once elected you will be given the right to vote on laws proposed by your fellow congress members or your president and propose laws yourself. Voting on laws is important for your country as it can shape the lives of those around you. You can also try to become the head of a given party, and even take part in presidential elections and decide on the shape of the foreign policy of a given state (for example, who to declare war on). Career in politics is obviously not easy and in order to succeed in it, you have to have a good plan and compete for the votes of voters.


You can go bankrupt or become a rich man while playing the stock market.

The international war.

The last and probably the most important module is military. In E-Sim, countries are constantly fighting each other for control over territories which in return grant them access to more valuable raw materials. For this purpose, they form alliances, they fight international wars, but they also have to deal with, for example, uprisings in conquered countries or civil wars, which may explode on their territory. You can also take part in these clashes, although you are also given the opportunity to lead a life as a pacifist who focuses on other activities in the game (for example, running a successful newspaper or selling products).
