Music for my American soldiers!

Hush now child and don't you cry

Your folks might understand you, by and by

So in the meantime, move on up, to your destination

Though you may find, from time to time, complications

My Final Farewell

In roughly 8 hours, I'll be turning the keys over to one of 3 presidential hopefuls, Sermokala , Shylock , or Khaled Ibrahim . In my time here, we've gone from one badly underdeveloped and populated bastion in Central USA, to adding three more original regions and acquiring high grain. During my tenure, we went from having no organizational structure to having fully staffed and developed and developing governmental departments. Departments such as the DoI, which hands out wellness to our newfriends just getting started, or the DoD, which gives out daily orders for our citizens, and assists our soldiers during important battles, through the Hell on Wheels program.

All these improvements in our growth was made possible by each and every citizen that contributed their time, efforts and abilities to making our diverse and divergent culture so vibrant.

I'd like to thank Leroy Combs , Vladimir , Snowball the Dinosaur , John Vontalmo , Feefaroni , Lord of the Blings , Wreckbeard , Dr Loony , DannyCrowley , Abernathy , sheepshag , Molly Emma , and countless others like bouncer535 , who supported a unknown noob in the early days. I hope that your trust has paid off, and that I haven't disappointed you guys during my time here.

I feel some slight separation anxiety, as it's hard to let go something you worked so hard to build, guard, guide and protect so fervently. America is my family, and each of us its children. I've been happy to be its Big Brother to everyone and I hope that our next President is as equally dedicated in his desire to protect our budding community.
Don't screw up, guys. I'll be watching you very carefully.

Endorsements?

I'm sure you guys are eagerly waiting to hear this one, but I'm sorry that I'll be disappointing you. Frankly, I'm not sure about the readiness of any of the candidates running and those I would have chosen to be my true successor have decided not to run this month. While that was also disappointing as well, not nearly as disappointing as the actions of some of the candidates on the trail.

If you haven't read American_insurgent 's article , do it. It sums up the views of the candidates very nicely. Well done, A_i, well done.

There will be difficult challenges ahead, and conflicting opinions towards what our national goals should be. There will be immense pressure forming to pick a side, as our daily damage continues to rise, and there will be immense threats, for those unused to walking the razor thin path that neutrality entails.

Some may think that our MPP structure shows lack of direction, but I beg to differ. Our MPP structure has extremely good reasons behind each and every one. Don't assume that we don't know what we're doing. We've dealt with foreign affairs for months, and know the personalities behind our neighbors' countries extremely well. So when we speak, people would do well to listen. Our ambassador corps are out there every day, collecting information, listening to concerns, collecting general moods and opinions on us. We knew what we were doing. I'm not against constructive criticism, but I refuse to accept opinion presented as fact, especially when it's presented by someone who doesn't even know something as basic as which alliance China is in.

So what should you do? Do. Your. Goddamned. Research. Stop making assumptions based on what candidates say on the campaign trail. I'm sure each means well, but the road to disaster is paved with good intentions.

Use your vote as your voice to select a solid, stable President. As much as I enjoy chaos, some direction is better than absolutely none.

So I leave you with these words: Don't follow your party lines just because someone tells you to. Do your diligence and make the right choices. Reach out to the candidates, but take what they say with a grain of salt. Campaign promises start out as rough ideas, but without the true facts behind the day to day operations of the country, fulfilling those promises can sometimes be more difficult than each one realizes.

The Last Word

While it may perturb me a bit that I won't be the one guarding America for the next month, due to some major real life schedule shifts that may be occuring, I encourage each and every one of you to seek out how you can get better involved with the direction of our country. I'd like our candidates to adopt a theme that I call "Move On Up." Set your standards high and follow through. If you can accomplish half the things that my team and I did this month, you'll gain an immense amount of respect from me, and those who respect my views.

I wish you all good luck in your endeavors, and I love each and tolerate each and every one of you people.

May your paths to success be short and fulfilling.

About the game:

USA as a world power? In E-Sim it is possible!

In E-Sim we have a huge, living world, which is a mirror copy of the Earth. Well, maybe not completely mirrored, because the balance of power in this virtual world looks a bit different than in real life. In E-Sim, USA does not have to be a world superpower, It can be efficiently managed as a much smaller country that has entrepreneurial citizens that support it's foundation. Everything depends on the players themselves and how they decide to shape the political map of the game.

Work for the good of your country and see it rise to an empire.

Activities in this game are divided into several modules. First is the economy as a citizen in a country of your choice you must work to earn money, which you will get to spend for example, on food or purchase of weapons which are critical for your progress as a fighter. You will work in either private companies which are owned by players or government companies which are owned by the state. After progressing in the game you will finally get the opportunity to set up your own business and hire other players. If it prospers, we can even change it into a joint-stock company and enter the stock market and get even more money in this way.

In E-Sim, international wars are nothing out of the ordinary.

Become an influential politician.

The second module is a politics. Just like in real life politics in E-Sim are an extremely powerful tool that can be used for your own purposes. From time to time there are elections in the game in which you will not only vote, but also have the ability to run for the head of the party you're in. You can also apply for congress, where once elected you will be given the right to vote on laws proposed by your fellow congress members or your president and propose laws yourself. Voting on laws is important for your country as it can shape the lives of those around you. You can also try to become the head of a given party, and even take part in presidential elections and decide on the shape of the foreign policy of a given state (for example, who to declare war on). Career in politics is obviously not easy and in order to succeed in it, you have to have a good plan and compete for the votes of voters.

You can go bankrupt or become a rich man while playing the stock market.

The international war.

The last and probably the most important module is military. In E-Sim, countries are constantly fighting each other for control over territories which in return grant them access to more valuable raw materials. For this purpose, they form alliances, they fight international wars, but they also have to deal with, for example, uprisings in conquered countries or civil wars, which may explode on their territory. You can also take part in these clashes, although you are also given the opportunity to lead a life as a pacifist who focuses on other activities in the game (for example, running a successful newspaper or selling products).

At the auction you can sell or buy your dream inventory.

E-Sim is a unique browser game. It's creators ensured realistic representation of the mechanisms present in the real world and gave all power to the players who shape the image of the virtual Earth according to their own. So come and join them and help your country achieve its full potential.
