THIS WEEK IN VETO

The Battle For Australia - This week so the much anticipated attack to reclaim Australia back. It was a hard fought battle, and Australia managed to win back South Australia, (important for the Australian and the VETO economy). But for it to be worth while, Australia had to embark on a double against Argentina and try to take back their capital in New South Wales. With VETO resources spread thin, unfortunately Argentina immediately rallied and conquered South Australia back! And to rub salt into the wound, Argentina set their sights on Victoria!

One amazing thing that did happen from this battle is the increase in statistics from ALL Australians. If every VETO nation can rise to their full potential everyday, well, lets face it, VETO might stand a chance as the official underdogs of e-sim!

THIS WEEK'S STATS

Weekly Citizen Increase:

Finland: 7.7%
Switzerland: 6.9%
Canada: 4.6%
India: 3.5%
France: 1.1%
Australia: -4.8%
Mexico: -26.9%

Every nation remained steady this week, an indication that every VETO nation player needs to get the word out to all of their friends, post their links on every gaming forum you can find, but then most importantly, as soon as they join the game, keep in contact with them, offer advice, and motivate them to become involved in the game.

A prime example is Mexico this week. After a record breaking citizen increase last week, Mexicans dropped 26.9%. Lets just hope that the new-comers from last week stick around!

Total Damage Per Country

With Latvia and USA recently leaving VETO, there has been a changing of the guard in total damage. France accounts for nearly one third of the total damage within the VETO alliance.

Total Damage This Week

With VETO rallying, this was a good week in total damage. You would have to say that Australia hit its peak dishing out a whole bunch of damage. Looking at the stats though, France is the under-achiever this week. For a nation with double the citizens of their nearest VETO nation, their damage in only slightly more than nations with half of their member base. Expect them to boost this next week!

Unfortunately for Mexico, with a huge drop in citizens, most likely a few big guns moving to some of the new nations, they had a negative value in damage this week, which means that they did not make the pie chart!

Total Damage Per Citizen

This is where it really gets interesting. As we all know, The total damage stats can be a little deceiving, and as you all know, this is one of my favourite stats as it really shows how each nation is really going. This week we see Australia, Switzerland and Canada going toe to toe.

Experience Gained Per Citizen

As mentioned, it seemed that Australia with their battles reached a new high. Look, lets face it, all of these stats are low. Under ideal circumstance, people should be able to gain around 745 XP per week (10 Gifts and 10 Food). Forthose that have alot of surplus, why not help out your fellow citizens and donate some food and gifts, or sell them at a rock bottom price!

Strength Gained Per Citizen

Strength is one of those strange statistics as citizens gain 20 strength for the first 20 days, 10 strength, 5 strength, and so forth. However, this is a great sign for Australia. Despite losing a few citizens it seems like their newer players are logging on each day! India is also a great improver in this category. Switzerland France and Finland are moving along nicely with a nice even balance of newer players picking up 20 strength while the older players are on a 2 strength gain, while Canada needs to re-think its promotion strategy. For Canada, after being up high in this category for 2 months, it seems like a number of these players are finally hitting that +2 strength level. Great that they have continued on this far, but need a spark!

About the game:

USA as a world power? In E-Sim it is possible!

In E-Sim we have a huge, living world, which is a mirror copy of the Earth. Well, maybe not completely mirrored, because the balance of power in this virtual world looks a bit different than in real life. In E-Sim, USA does not have to be a world superpower, It can be efficiently managed as a much smaller country that has entrepreneurial citizens that support it's foundation. Everything depends on the players themselves and how they decide to shape the political map of the game.

Work for the good of your country and see it rise to an empire.

Activities in this game are divided into several modules. First is the economy as a citizen in a country of your choice you must work to earn money, which you will get to spend for example, on food or purchase of weapons which are critical for your progress as a fighter. You will work in either private companies which are owned by players or government companies which are owned by the state. After progressing in the game you will finally get the opportunity to set up your own business and hire other players. If it prospers, we can even change it into a joint-stock company and enter the stock market and get even more money in this way.

In E-Sim, international wars are nothing out of the ordinary.

"E-Sim is one of the most unique browser games out there"

Become an influential politician.

The second module is a politics. Just like in real life politics in E-Sim are an extremely powerful tool that can be used for your own purposes. From time to time there are elections in the game in which you will not only vote, but also have the ability to run for the head of the party you're in. You can also apply for congress, where once elected you will be given the right to vote on laws proposed by your fellow congress members or your president and propose laws yourself. Voting on laws is important for your country as it can shape the lives of those around you. You can also try to become the head of a given party, and even take part in presidential elections and decide on the shape of the foreign policy of a given state (for example, who to declare war on). Career in politics is obviously not easy and in order to succeed in it, you have to have a good plan and compete for the votes of voters.

You can go bankrupt or become a rich man while playing the stock market.

The international war.

The last and probably the most important module is military. In E-Sim, countries are constantly fighting each other for control over territories which in return grant them access to more valuable raw materials. For this purpose, they form alliances, they fight international wars, but they also have to deal with, for example, uprisings in conquered countries or civil wars, which may explode on their territory. You can also take part in these clashes, although you are also given the opportunity to lead a life as a pacifist who focuses on other activities in the game (for example, running a successful newspaper or selling products).

At the auction you can sell or buy your dream inventory.

E-Sim is a unique browser game. It's creators ensured realistic representation of the mechanisms present in the real world and gave all power to the players who shape the image of the virtual Earth according to their own. So come and join them and help your country achieve its full potential.
