Greetings to all the citizens of sIndia and other readers from abroad!

It is I CmdrGhost again, your friendly US Ambassador to India. First of all, I'd like to apologize for the delay as real life has taken priority with" end of semester rush" going on (studying, finals, oh the pain! ).



Today we will be taking a more in-depth look at fighting and how to increase your efficiency as a warrior. These tips and suggestions are what I've gathered from my first hand experience, and especially from Niittimies , my brother in arms and friend. Let the battles begin!

Many of you should know by now the basics of fighting, whether it be from reading the wiki, or browsing some of the well produced articles that your fellow redactors have published.

I am also assuming that you all know about tickets, using them, and how to "travel" or move from one region to another. If not, then here are some articles/wiki pages that you should take a look at to get refreshed.

One Mind, Any Weapon

I think Machiavelli puts it quite well in our case. It is important to always fight with a weapon. No matter what quality it is, fighting with a weapon enables you to produce the most damage output.



For those of you who might not get what I'm trying to say at first glance, let me put it in simpler words:

If you fight without a weapon, your damage gets cut in half!

With that said, I urge you all to make sure you always have enough weapons to cover all your fights. For most players, Q1 weapons are the most affordable and cost efficient. Higher weapons are usually used for BH hunters or for important battles, so try to stay away from higher quality weapons (unless of course you are rich ).

One of my fellow Americans did an analysis on Q1 weapons, which I recommend to read for those who understand the numbers. The article is Q1 Weapons Equal Q5 Damage by Mark Michaelson

I have noticed this aspect of fighting being overlooked quite often.Knowing where to fight can be the deciding factor in overpowering the opponent's wall of damage. The chart below highlights the different location bonuses you get in different scenarios.

The info presented in the wiki article might be a little wordy and confusing to understand, so I shall put it in simpler terms to make it more clear:

Bonuses:
*Defenders move directly to the target region to get bonus
*Attackers move to a bordering/neighboring region of the target region

*Whichever side that does not have a territory bordering the target region will receive a debuff of 20% (meaning your damage will be cut down by 20%)


Tip:
To figure out which neighboring region to move to (this usually applies to the attacker) please see the images and instructions below.


Step 1 - Click the name of the region on the battle screen


Step 2 - You will see the neighboring regions list.

Once you get to this list, you click each region to see who the current owner is. If one of the regions has a current owner that matches to who your soldier is fighting for, then that's where you move to get the location bonus.

Note:
You can also get bonuses if a country's government sets a hospital or defense shield

Hospitals
-reduces health loss from fighting (amount determined by quality)

The Home of the Warrior

Houses

Finally, we come to the topic of houses.Houses allow you to recover more health at day change. The higher the quality, the more health you receive.



To help you get a better understanding at what houses do let's take a look at some scenarios:
For example, at day change everyone gets +50 health.

If I were to get a Q1 house, I would get +60 health at day change (+50 and +10)
If I were to get a Q3 house, I would get +80 health at day change (+50 and +30)
If I were to get a Q5 house, I would get +100 health at day change (+50 and +50)

If you have multiple houses in your inventory, the house with the highest quality will only be counted.

The health may seem small to you, but it helps you increase your rank and XP by a much faster pace than those who have no houses at all.

My recommendation is to just get a Q5 house. You can usually find people selling them on #strade for 18-19g.

USA as a world power? In E-Sim it is possible!

In E-Sim we have a huge, living world, which is a mirror copy of the Earth. Well, maybe not completely mirrored, because the balance of power in this virtual world looks a bit different than in real life. In E-Sim, USA does not have to be a world superpower, It can be efficiently managed as a much smaller country that has entrepreneurial citizens that support it's foundation. Everything depends on the players themselves and how they decide to shape the political map of the game.

Work for the good of your country and see it rise to an empire.

Activities in this game are divided into several modules. First is the economy as a citizen in a country of your choice you must work to earn money, which you will get to spend for example, on food or purchase of weapons which are critical for your progress as a fighter. You will work in either private companies which are owned by players or government companies which are owned by the state. After progressing in the game you will finally get the opportunity to set up your own business and hire other players. If it prospers, we can even change it into a joint-stock company and enter the stock market and get even more money in this way.


In E-Sim, international wars are nothing out of the ordinary.

Become an influential politician.

The second module is a politics. Just like in real life politics in E-Sim are an extremely powerful tool that can be used for your own purposes. From time to time there are elections in the game in which you will not only vote, but also have the ability to run for the head of the party you're in. You can also apply for congress, where once elected you will be given the right to vote on laws proposed by your fellow congress members or your president and propose laws yourself. Voting on laws is important for your country as it can shape the lives of those around you. You can also try to become the head of a given party, and even take part in presidential elections and decide on the shape of the foreign policy of a given state (for example, who to declare war on). Career in politics is obviously not easy and in order to succeed in it, you have to have a good plan and compete for the votes of voters.


You can go bankrupt or become a rich man while playing the stock market.

The international war.

The last and probably the most important module is military. In E-Sim, countries are constantly fighting each other for control over territories which in return grant them access to more valuable raw materials. For this purpose, they form alliances, they fight international wars, but they also have to deal with, for example, uprisings in conquered countries or civil wars, which may explode on their territory. You can also take part in these clashes, although you are also given the opportunity to lead a life as a pacifist who focuses on other activities in the game (for example, running a successful newspaper or selling products).


At the auction you can sell or buy your dream inventory.

E-Sim is a unique browser game. It's creators ensured realistic representation of the mechanisms present in the real world and gave all power to the players who shape the image of the virtual Earth according to their own. So come and join them and help your country achieve its full potential.
