Opie Winston -Hallo, tell us a bit about your life out of the borders of the Internet?
Ha-ha! What should i say, living in United Kingdom, in the capital - London! I’m 22 years young guy. My name is Edijs and i don’t work, but I’m learning at business course with advanced mathematics and English language. Don’t use alcohol and don’t drag the smoke. Listening to different music genres and I love black humor.
-For how long do you live in a foreign country and is it in your plans to return to your motherland- to Latvia?
Live here not long - 10 months. I graduated The State Technical School in Liepaja, Latvia. The State Technical School as a commercial transaction employee and went to London, where my mother and sister were living for several years. At this moment I’m not going to return to Latvia. Maybe someday in the future, but now I’m looking to Latvia as a good place where I can relax in the summer. Have a living flat in Liepaja, sea, lake is in the near. I think that it will stay as it is - earn in United Kingdom and relax in Latvia!
- Is there some sports in which are you involved, or simply pursue it?
Now not involved anymore and not following it. Formerly I played basketball because I’m sufficiently tall and massive that’s why I play good under the basket,on the rebounds as same as Kambala does. The only thing which i fallow is when Latvia takes a part somewhere. But then i follow it with fervor, especially the championships in hockey. Now will follow Olympic games too. Maybe even will go to the center when Latvia will start at some disciplines because as we all know that the Olympic games will take place at London. I even had an opportunity to work at the stadium, but i declined it because of personal reasons...
- Latvian without hockey is unimaginable (chuckle) Fine. Lets focus on e-Sim, how did your career start here?
Hockey without beer is figure skating and since i don’t drink, as i mentioned, that means that I’m watching figure skating championships. Career in e-Sim? Started really interesting. At the beginning when i first saw the link e-sim.org I thought that it is that old game which came out at the same time as eRepublic, if I’m not mistaken, then it was called Jahan or something like that. Because of that i didn’t open it and delve in to it. Then a week later i saw the link again, let it be and entered the game. Only then i understood that this is a completely different game. That is why i registered on the day 10. I entered right away in LvS, at the next day I left LvS and went to AoL, there i got acquainted with defunct
Delonghy because i knew him from other games, some time later our duo joined 
sandulis and it’s how formed the unbreakable trio, which sometimes is called Three Musketeers. At least that’s how was called our chat. At that chat we didn’t give a shit about all the situations and the taken decisions.
- How were The BASTERDS formed and for how long time this MU is running?
BASTERDS were formed because of the guidance of my initiative. Yes
sandulis will decapitate, that all of us did it, then you have to know, that he simply lacks the attention.
I,
Delonghy and sandulis started to have more problems with AoL and the leaders of it. We know that we are the strongest and practically the only one tanks of the MU, that’s why we asked from the leaders more support. sandulis there separately was fighting with 
puuu and that was when i asked at the musketeers chat if they don’t want to make our own MU and they both agreed. True is that we didn’t have resources at that time to make a Novice MU (50G). I with Delonghy thrown together and gathered 30g and 20g I arranged with and got from all of you well known player Febo. I was in really good reletionship with him! So on the day 70 of the game arose Basterds unit, which originally at the beginning was called Inglorious Basterds. From the beginning it was formed as a Elite unit and such it is still. Whit ELITE I don’t think as unit with the strongest players!
-Well for some time BASTERDS got a new member. Female player, which is rare in e-Sim- Annuciite. With her participation in MU has something changed in relationships of MU?
Surely! Basterds are more obscene become! But the line isn’t crossed. In our unit is always black humor working on and no one takes it close to the heart and even if he says something, he doesn’t mean it. but of course we are pleased that among us the wolves shown up a female wolf. And her avatar is sexy!
- Who is the creator of her avatar?
I’m! I’m the only one graphic designer, respectively all the avatars of Basterds creator. If someone is interested who is that girl in Annuciite’s avatar, then those girls are called "pin-up girls".Search in google and enjoy!
-Hah. While you were playing the game, have you thought about becoming a CP of sLatvia?
Playing the game I had a lot of ideas in my head, but I’m honest to myself and to others, that’s why i don’t stand for it because I’m not sure if I will be able to route the term good. I just can’t do it as
BossX , Jake Sully , to don’t give a shit about it. Although you were elected in to the Congress and you weren’t ready for it, nevertheless you have to try, as Devars did it. He’s not frown the country away and refused to do his tasks.
- Latvia is fallen in to a big hole right now. What is your solution for this situation, to get out of it?
No longer have any! I personally was one of those who try to solve the bad economical situation in Latvia and the resulting hatred to our neighbors Lithuanians, but the opposition, which done a lot of ugly stuff, didn’t like it. This situation, that is now is because of this opposition and becouse of the actions that the supporters did. I hope that this situation right now is the one which they wanted it to be, but if it’s not, then i don’t understand why they had to do that what they have done. We can’t help each other while we don’t help ourselves.
- What do you think is the reason that recently sLatvia has left so many players.

Thinking that because of the same reason which i described in the question before. People are tired, they do something, but nothing is well done. Excellent example was in relation to member of my MU, when he fought for the BH in battle of Latvia and was trying to take a BH on the Lithuanian side too. Of course it wasn’t good, that he fought some DMG on Latvia’s side, because he has fought with more DMG on Lithuanias side. Althoe every normal person knows that the concurrence on the Lithuanian side is bigger, that’s why he needed bigger DMG there! Maybe i confused the characters, but the situation was as that...
-Is there a girl from sLatvia which sympathize you?
Well we do not have much to choose from. But if i have to chose from what we have, then i chose
Annuciite , she has a sexy avatar! Annuciite is even cooler then Armadicus . Will whisper that she is also in RL more beautiful!

USA as a world power? In E-Sim it is possible!
In E-Sim we have a huge, living world, which is a mirror copy of the Earth. Well, maybe not completely mirrored, because the balance of power in this virtual world looks a bit different than in real life. In E-Sim, USA does not have to be a world superpower, It can be efficiently managed as a much smaller country that has entrepreneurial citizens that support it's foundation. Everything depends on the players themselves and how they decide to shape the political map of the game.
Work for the good of your country and see it rise to an empire.
Activities in this game are divided into several modules. First is the economy as a citizen in a country of your choice you must work to earn money, which you will get to spend for example, on food or purchase of weapons which are critical for your progress as a fighter. You will work in either private companies which are owned by players or government companies which are owned by the state. After progressing in the game you will finally get the opportunity to set up your own business and hire other players. If it prospers, we can even change it into a joint-stock company and enter the stock market and get even more money in this way.
In E-Sim, international wars are nothing out of the ordinary.
Become an influential politician.
The second module is a politics. Just like in real life politics in E-Sim are an extremely powerful tool that can be used for your own purposes. From time to time there are elections in the game in which you will not only vote, but also have the ability to run for the head of the party you're in. You can also apply for congress, where once elected you will be given the right to vote on laws proposed by your fellow congress members or your president and propose laws yourself. Voting on laws is important for your country as it can shape the lives of those around you. You can also try to become the head of a given party, and even take part in presidential elections and decide on the shape of the foreign policy of a given state (for example, who to declare war on). Career in politics is obviously not easy and in order to succeed in it, you have to have a good plan and compete for the votes of voters.
You can go bankrupt or become a rich man while playing the stock market.
The international war.
The last and probably the most important module is military. In E-Sim, countries are constantly fighting each other for control over territories which in return grant them access to more valuable raw materials. For this purpose, they form alliances, they fight international wars, but they also have to deal with, for example, uprisings in conquered countries or civil wars, which may explode on their territory. You can also take part in these clashes, although you are also given the opportunity to lead a life as a pacifist who focuses on other activities in the game (for example, running a successful newspaper or selling products).
