Two days ago Mason Hales founded The Communist Party here in the eUS. Through his newspaper, “The Communist Party Broadcast” he stated an argument that through Communism the eUSA will grow to dominance and possibly become the “World Power”. Though I believe his intentions are good, I cannot seem to agree with much of his argument.
Now before I go on and state my opposition, Mr. Hales asked that I would quote him in saying "The communist party is not looking for personal power. We look for power in the nation as a whole, like a fine tuned machine whose gears work in unison for the machine instead of the gears themselves."

Now I must admit that Communism in a game if far less dangerous then in RL, for in a game the KGB cant storm your home and throw you and your family in prison for speaking out against the Government. They also cannot fire volley after volley of machine gun fire into a crowd of peaceful protesters nor can they starve the public of much needed nutrition simply to supply their Military; but the very ideas of Communism must be thought trough very carefully.
What I wish to do is point out how Capitalism can not only compete, but also how it can out last Communism.

Though I do not oppose a few government sponsored programs, the idea of all industry being owned and controlled by the government will decrease the incentive for players to succeed! Look at the RL effects that Communism had on the old USSR. With a doctor making only enough to live in the same apartment and eating the same food as the custodian, one would ask if striving to maintain the high standard of excellence is truly worth it. I know this is not RL but we can encourage growth at a much larger scale in reiterating the rewards of obtaining the American dream. If all of our players are striving to be successful our nation as a whole will be successful.

And how will this method work without the players seeing a reason to contribute? I work in Sensory/Neurology based Occupational Therapy in RL. There is always a “What’s in it for me” mentality; it is that form of thinking that gives us the drive to succeed at a task or even life. Example, if a child does not see how reading and writing will benefit him/her, they will be less likely to learn the task then the child that finds enjoyment in reading and writing. What I am trying to say is that if the goal of the player is for the Country to become a military leader, they will personally see that they are doing what they can to see it become reality; the same applies to the player that wants his country to become an Economic leader. The difference in what made the real USA great for over 100 years and the USSR being great for a mere 40 years was the ability of its people to succeed at the things they could put their heart into.
I guess we have already forgotten how the real USA was an economic powerhouse till the Fed sold us off to China and foreign debt. (In other words, before the Government stuck their nose in it)

No Kidding! Why should the “Government” have more power than the players? When was the last time the Government did anything, outside of overcomplicate and mess things up? With the power being with the players, they can use their talents to their optimal abilities. The Government should not have control over anything besides National Defense, Taxation, and other such things that the general public cannot provide on their own.
With all that being said, I think that the privet sector should be the ones responsible for maintaining the market through supply and demand. Now I do think that the government can encourage growth by raising taxes on imports that are manufactured here, whilst lowering import taxes on Raw Material that is not produced in the eUS. Our nation will become stronger militarily as it becomes stronger economically. Leave the economy to the players and be amazed at the results.
Now one thing the world should always know is that Americans are a benevolent people by nature. Who always responds in RL when a great disaster occurs? The great US of A! You will be surprised at how much eUS players help one another, it is in our blood to donate supplies to the needy and loan to those who are trying to grow the economy through business and trade. We are Americans! We do not need the Government to tell us where to put our heart! We gladly share our heart in hopes of accomplishing the common goal of strength through unity.
In E-Sim we have a huge, living world, which is a mirror copy of the Earth.
Well, maybe not completely mirrored, because the balance of power in this virtual world looks a bit
different than in real life. In E-Sim, USA does not have to be a world superpower, It can be
efficiently
managed as a much smaller country that has entrepreneurial citizens that support it's foundation.
Everything depends on the players themselves and how they decide to shape the political map of the
game.
Work for the good of your country and
see it rise to an empire.
Activities in this game are divided into several modules.
First is the economy as a citizen in a country of your choice you must work to earn money, which you
will get to spend for example, on food or purchase of weapons which are critical for your progress
as a fighter.
You will work in either private companies which are owned by players or government companies which
are owned by the state.
After progressing in the game you will finally get the opportunity to set up your
own business and hire other players. If it prospers, we can even change it into a joint-stock
company and enter the stock market and get even more money in this way.
In E-Sim, international wars are nothing out of the ordinary.

Become an influential politician.
The second module is a politics. Just like in real life politics
in E-Sim are an extremely powerful tool that can be used for your own purposes.
From time to time there are elections in the game in which you will not only vote, but also have the ability
to run for the head of the party you're in.
You can also apply for congress, where once elected you will be given the right to vote on laws
proposed by your fellow congress members or your president and propose laws yourself.
Voting on laws is important for your country as it can shape the lives of those around you.
You can also try to become the head of a given party, and even take part in presidential
elections and decide on the shape of the foreign policy of a given state
(for example, who to declare war on).
Career in politics is obviously not easy and in order to succeed in it, you have to have
a good plan and compete for the votes of voters.
You can go bankrupt or become a rich man while playing the stock market.
The international war.
The last and probably the most important module is military.
In E-Sim, countries are constantly fighting each other for control
over territories which in return grant them access to more valuable raw materials.
For this purpose, they form alliances, they fight international wars, but they also have
to deal with, for example, uprisings in conquered countries or civil wars, which may explode on
their territory.
You can also take part in these clashes, although you are also given the opportunity to lead a life
as a pacifist
who focuses on other activities in the game (for example, running a successful newspaper or selling
products).
At the auction you can sell or buy your dream inventory.
E-Sim is a unique browser game.
It's creators ensured realistic representation of the mechanisms present
in the real world and gave all power to the players who shape the image of the virtual Earth
