With congressional elections fast approaching, I'd like to throw my hat into the ring! I am exceedingly qualified for the position, both from my experience as Kazeal in eRepublik and from the experience I've already managed to accrue here, in e-sim. I've been working as the Deputy Secretary of State, helping our President find our way in the world and conduct foreign policy. Additionally, I've been hard at work, this last week, laying the foundations and structures for the US Ambassador System , in addition to helping scout out promising citizens that would do well in representing our country abroad! As our new Ambassadors have begun submitting their first reports, I can't help but be proud of them
On top of my work with the US government, I am also a founding member of the USA's very first Veteran (and soon-to-be Elite) level Military Unit: Band of Brothers. It's been great fun, helping the group get organized and begin pumping out damage. In just nine days, we have put together a group that can out-damage the other two top MU's in the country (US Army and Top Gun), each of which has been around for much longer than us!
Lastly, although I haven't done much in this area yet, I am a member of the burgeoning New America First Party; I've joined several promising party programs, and I hope to see our Party President, grim the reaper , roll out several more new goodies for our party!!
Anyway, I won't bore you here by talking about my eRep careers; instead, if you're interested, I'll just refer you to a previous article of mine that details my history a bit more in-depth: http://e-sim.org/article.html?id=19709
Read on for a look at some of the things I'd like to accomplish, if elected to congress!
I believe that the main function of a congress in this game is to handle a country's budget and funding apparatus. As such, much of what I would like to accomplish, if elected, revolves around fiduciary matters; I will of course work with my fellow senators on any legislation introduced, but I intend to focus primarily on three core issues related to national finance:
1) Establishment of a Federal Budget - The timely completion of this is absolutely essential to the performance of our nation, not only so that we may efficiently fund our military forces, but also so that we can continue to develop our economy and create a stable and effective political system through use of a peg on the monetary market and a set amount of funds put aside for mutual protection pacts, and other political matters.
2) Ambassador System - I firmly believe that the challenging work of a US Ambassador should not only be formally recognized by upper-administration officials , but also met with tangible rewards. Our Ambassadors are fast becoming a pivotal element of our foreign affairs machine, every possible effort must be made to continue its growth and efficacy; to this end, if elected (and hell, probably even if I'm not), I will be introducing a bill to create a small amount of funding for the Ambassador System, so that outstanding efforts may be further encouraged of our representatives abroad.
3) Military Units - As I said earlier, the primary purpose of congress is to handle national finances. It is the duty of this body of government to arrange our national funds in such a way as to maximize both our country's potential, and its security. I believe the US congress will best perform this duty by creating a fund for the betterment of our country's military units; money placed in this fund will be used to subsidize entry costs for military units so that they may more easily expand and increase damage potential, as well as upgrade, and perhaps even purchase and organize their own commune systems. I know for a fact that several of our top MUs are in much need of funds; granting it to them will go a very long way towards increasing the USA's performance on the battlefield, and its security from our enemies.
There are a couple other things I would like to work on, if elected, but those are easily my top three priorities. If you'd like to talk to me about my other ideas, by all means, feel more than welcome to message me, or even to track me down on IRC sometime That's all for now!
Signing off,
-Lord of the Blings (AKA: Kazeal)
US Deputy Secretary of State, and hopeful US Congressman
In E-Sim we have a huge, living world, which is a mirror copy of the Earth.
Well, maybe not completely mirrored, because the balance of power in this virtual world looks a bit
different than in real life. In E-Sim, USA does not have to be a world superpower, It can be
efficiently
managed as a much smaller country that has entrepreneurial citizens that support it's foundation.
Everything depends on the players themselves and how they decide to shape the political map of the
game.
Work for the good of your country and
see it rise to an empire.
Activities in this game are divided into several modules.
First is the economy as a citizen in a country of your choice you must work to earn money, which you
will get to spend for example, on food or purchase of weapons which are critical for your progress
as a fighter.
You will work in either private companies which are owned by players or government companies which
are owned by the state.
After progressing in the game you will finally get the opportunity to set up your
own business and hire other players. If it prospers, we can even change it into a joint-stock
company and enter the stock market and get even more money in this way.
In E-Sim, international wars are nothing out of the ordinary.

Become an influential politician.
The second module is a politics. Just like in real life politics
in E-Sim are an extremely powerful tool that can be used for your own purposes.
From time to time there are elections in the game in which you will not only vote, but also have the ability
to run for the head of the party you're in.
You can also apply for congress, where once elected you will be given the right to vote on laws
proposed by your fellow congress members or your president and propose laws yourself.
Voting on laws is important for your country as it can shape the lives of those around you.
You can also try to become the head of a given party, and even take part in presidential
elections and decide on the shape of the foreign policy of a given state
(for example, who to declare war on).
Career in politics is obviously not easy and in order to succeed in it, you have to have
a good plan and compete for the votes of voters.
You can go bankrupt or become a rich man while playing the stock market.
The international war.
The last and probably the most important module is military.
In E-Sim, countries are constantly fighting each other for control
over territories which in return grant them access to more valuable raw materials.
For this purpose, they form alliances, they fight international wars, but they also have
to deal with, for example, uprisings in conquered countries or civil wars, which may explode on
their territory.
You can also take part in these clashes, although you are also given the opportunity to lead a life
as a pacifist
who focuses on other activities in the game (for example, running a successful newspaper or selling
products).
At the auction you can sell or buy your dream inventory.
E-Sim is a unique browser game.
It's creators ensured realistic representation of the mechanisms present
in the real world and gave all power to the players who shape the image of the virtual Earth
according to their own.
So come and join them and help your country achieve its full potential.
