We're still standing music?
FIST TO HEART.
First off, I'd just like to say that we're still alive and steadily growing! Can you believe it? Despite all the drama over the NAP, despite the adversity we've faced, we're still steadily growing, working, training, living! I think we all deserve a massive pat on the back for the contributions we've given to enlivening our little enclave here in the good old Central USA. We can only go up from here! I give a strong heartfelt salute to citizens like Filthy Rich, Leroy_Combs, grimthereaper, Wreckbeard, Pikez638, Great Zulu and so many others for their steady supply of goods, services and donations.
I salute sheepshag for his many months of service to the Army MU. I know you're gonna be busy, new father, I think we can take it from here. o7
I salute everyone who's dropped me a PM, everyone who thanked me for the Giftaway, everyone who's shouted their support and given their time to my continued campaign to make the sUS a stronger community.
I salute last term's congress for giving me, an unproven entity up to that point, a chance to truly help our country out by taking direct control of the office of PotUS. I hope I haven't disappointed any of you.
What's Next?
We've already begun cleaning up and reorging the Army MU, as our new Secretary of Defense, Filthy Rich, has taken over. I hope that even should I not be elected today, that either Conan or Commando will continue the good work of giving us an active and coordinated military.
Departments are more than just titles, departments are the people who put their time and effort into helping you, our citizens, out. People can hold up country rankings and pass around titles, but it takes activity and a genuine want to help out, to REALLY make Government service pop. The newly forming Department of Defense will be no different.
A mix of the new and old and an actual budget will do wonders in this area.
Our new Department of the Interior's Operation Cornucopia and the NAF sponsored Giftaway have been unmitigated successes. While it'd be nicer to be able to give out higher quality food, we have to take small steps first, to achieve great leaps later. We will, ofc, be looking into our ability to fund this program as much as our little budget allows, as our contribution to the continued growth of our nation. Our new players deserve what we can give them, and without them, our growth will stagnate. Wreckbeard will continue in this role, if I'm elected today.
The Department of Education has also been a great success, with helpful articles, advice and teaching everyone about everything from IRC, the forums, and even how to fight. This Department will continue to be very important in my administration. IRC and the forums encourage discourse and communication between us, so this area serves an important purpose for every citizen.
New faces and old!
A lot of new ideas are burgeoning into full fruition. A lot of new faces have offered great and keen insight into our plight, rejuvenating old ways of thinking, while making sure we aren't lockstepped into thinking in one way only. I've asked Leroy Combs to be my Vice President and he has accepted.
There are still roles that need filling, and the only way to really get involved is to simply ask. The more capable people we have filling needed roles, the stronger we are, while minimalizing the risks of player burnout.

About the game:
USA as a world power? In E-Sim it is possible!
In E-Sim we have a huge, living world, which is a mirror copy of the Earth. Well, maybe not completely mirrored, because the balance of power in this virtual world looks a bit different than in real life. In E-Sim, USA does not have to be a world superpower, It can be efficiently managed as a much smaller country that has entrepreneurial citizens that support it's foundation. Everything depends on the players themselves and how they decide to shape the political map of the game.
Work for the good of your country and see it rise to an empire.
Activities in this game are divided into several modules. First is the economy as a citizen in a country of your choice you must work to earn money, which you will get to spend for example, on food or purchase of weapons which are critical for your progress as a fighter. You will work in either private companies which are owned by players or government companies which are owned by the state. After progressing in the game you will finally get the opportunity to set up your own business and hire other players. If it prospers, we can even change it into a joint-stock company and enter the stock market and get even more money in this way.
In E-Sim, international wars are nothing out of the ordinary.
Become an influential politician.
The second module is a politics. Just like in real life politics in E-Sim are an extremely powerful tool that can be used for your own purposes. From time to time there are elections in the game in which you will not only vote, but also have the ability to run for the head of the party you're in. You can also apply for congress, where once elected you will be given the right to vote on laws proposed by your fellow congress members or your president and propose laws yourself. Voting on laws is important for your country as it can shape the lives of those around you. You can also try to become the head of a given party, and even take part in presidential elections and decide on the shape of the foreign policy of a given state (for example, who to declare war on). Career in politics is obviously not easy and in order to succeed in it, you have to have a good plan and compete for the votes of voters.
You can go bankrupt or become a rich man while playing the stock market.
The international war.
The last and probably the most important module is military. In E-Sim, countries are constantly fighting each other for control over territories which in return grant them access to more valuable raw materials. For this purpose, they form alliances, they fight international wars, but they also have to deal with, for example, uprisings in conquered countries or civil wars, which may explode on their territory. You can also take part in these clashes, although you are also given the opportunity to lead a life as a pacifist who focuses on other activities in the game (for example, running a successful newspaper or selling products).
At the auction you can sell or buy your dream inventory.
E-Sim is a unique browser game. It's creators ensured realistic representation of the mechanisms present in the real world and gave all power to the players who shape the image of the virtual Earth according to their own. So come and join them and help your country achieve its full potential.
