Tonight on the eve on the elections I will be speaking about two critical subjects of my campaign in one article. Tonight we cover Foreign Affairs and the Military of Defense.
Foreign Affairs-
As some of you may know Foreign Affairs is an interest of mine. It is what had me hooked on eRep over three years ago. Alliances and Conquest drive this game and so Foreign Affairs must be proactive, not reactive. Ireland must shape her own diplomatic destiny. Looking to the future we see that Ireland has really only two neighbors: The UK and Portugal. the UK shares with us many social and geo-political ideals in common. They should be our closest ally but could be our worst foe. As President it will be one of my first tasks to sort our where Ireland actually stands in the eyes of the UK and her Government. The goal is to promote peace and build community with the UK. The current stance of our diplomacy with the UK is one that has created no dialog and we know that when nations stop speaking with each other it is easier to find ways to go to war.
One of the ways that we protect our nation and build foreign relations is through MPP's. My goal is to maintain at least 2 active MPP's that give battles nearly everyday. I would also like, if funding allows, for Ireland to become a leader among neutral nations. nations such as Sweden, Italy, India and China who may come under threat from the major alliances. Helping smaller nations is something most of us can agree upon. We will not take sides in entangling alliances but assist nations who have chosen neutrality.
As we participate more within the international community we gain a great respect and wider international prestige. We build a reputation not only of our neutrality but of our desire to be a productive member-state of the sWorld.
Military- Nothing can be said of Foreign Affairs without involvement of a military discussion. A strong military keeps Ireland safe and protects out allies. A nation with a standing army will not remain a free state for long! As President I plan on doing three critical things to increase the effectiveness and performance of our small army.
1.) Battle Orders. One of the key areas for the growth and strengthening of soldiers are consistent Battle Orders. With battles constantly going on it is difficult to know when/where Army battle orders will pop-up (or if). I see this as a fundamental flaw. Battle orders can be known far enough in advance to let soldiers know. Coordination with our allies will tell us where/when and these orders can be as easily distributed as supplies to the soldiers.
2.) Infrastructure. Every professional army needs high quality supplies. We currently get Q4 Food and Q3 Gifts (which are good) as well as occasional Q1 Weapons. I would like to increase infrastructure to create more weapons. I would also work to upgrade our MU to a Regular unit. With Q1 weapons and a Regular MU we would get a 75% increase in our collective battle damage versus fighting barehanded in battle orders. It is going to take some money to do this but plans are laid to raise the funds needed.
Another issue with infrastructure is how to best help new citizens. Babies cannot afford the cost to join an MU right away bu still could use supplies and coordination to help drive their involvement. To this end I will be donating my Q2 Food and Q2 Gift companies to give these babies a place to work and get some free supplies until they can join one of the MU's in Ireland.
3.) Lastly, as part of a team=building training I would like to announce the Sniper-team program. This program takes a battle being fought during a specific day and assigns two soldiers to "snipe" the battle together. This is all about following orders and coordination. Sniper teams will be deployed within the last two minutes of a battle and ensure that enough damage has been done to secure that particular battle. Military commanders will watch the results carefully and sniper teams that are effective in battle will receive special recognition and prizes. This will help our allies, avoid over-damage in battles and increase active participation in the military rather then just "two-clicking".
That is all for tonight and I hope you a vote tomorrow. This is an important election as it is the first competitive elections and involves two great candidates. I hope to see the best turnout we have ever had.
In E-Sim we have a huge, living world, which is a mirror copy of the Earth.
Well, maybe not completely mirrored, because the balance of power in this virtual world looks a bit
different than in real life. In E-Sim, USA does not have to be a world superpower, It can be
efficiently
managed as a much smaller country that has entrepreneurial citizens that support it's foundation.
Everything depends on the players themselves and how they decide to shape the political map of the
game.
Work for the good of your country and
see it rise to an empire.
Activities in this game are divided into several modules.
First is the economy as a citizen in a country of your choice you must work to earn money, which you
will get to spend for example, on food or purchase of weapons which are critical for your progress
as a fighter.
You will work in either private companies which are owned by players or government companies which
are owned by the state.
After progressing in the game you will finally get the opportunity to set up your
own business and hire other players. If it prospers, we can even change it into a joint-stock
company and enter the stock market and get even more money in this way.
In E-Sim, international wars are nothing out of the ordinary.
"E-Sim is one of the most unique browser games out there"
Become an influential politician.
The second module is a politics. Just like in real life politics
in E-Sim are an extremely powerful tool that can be used for your own purposes.
From time to time there are elections in the game in which you will not only vote, but also have the ability
to run for the head of the party you're in.
You can also apply for congress, where once elected you will be given the right to vote on laws
proposed by your fellow congress members or your president and propose laws yourself.
Voting on laws is important for your country as it can shape the lives of those around you.
You can also try to become the head of a given party, and even take part in presidential
elections and decide on the shape of the foreign policy of a given state
(for example, who to declare war on).
Career in politics is obviously not easy and in order to succeed in it, you have to have
a good plan and compete for the votes of voters.
You can go bankrupt or become a rich man while playing the stock market.
The international war.
The last and probably the most important module is military.
In E-Sim, countries are constantly fighting each other for control
over territories which in return grant them access to more valuable raw materials.
For this purpose, they form alliances, they fight international wars, but they also have
to deal with, for example, uprisings in conquered countries or civil wars, which may explode on
their territory.
You can also take part in these clashes, although you are also given the opportunity to lead a life
as a pacifist
who focuses on other activities in the game (for example, running a successful newspaper or selling
products).
At the auction you can sell or buy your dream inventory.
E-Sim is a unique browser game.
It's creators ensured realistic representation of the mechanisms present
in the real world and gave all power to the players who shape the image of the virtual Earth
according to their own.
So come and join them and help your country achieve its full potential.
Invest, produce and sell - be an entrepreneur in E-Sim.
