Greetings fellow E-Sim Americans,
While this is not how articles for this paper will traditionally start, I find it appropriate to start with sort of an introduction here. First off, I am new to this game and have never played any sort of game like this one and while that does mean I have a lot to learn, it certainly doesn’t mean that I have nothing to offer or that I won’t prove to be a key asset in some way in the future (with a little help of course).
I think I speak not only for myself, but for other people that are also new here when I say that having Patriotic Blood in your veins is great for this country even if it is of the Newcomer variety.
That being said, I look forward to a long and prosperous gaming experience here even if there will be tough times to endure before getting there and I hope you all feel the same way whether you’re a proven veteran, a fresh recruit that still hasn’t figured out how to friend request a person here, or somewhere in between.
My intentions with this paper is to help and/or entertain as much of our beautiful pixilated country as possible. Not just my particular chosen political party, not just those that are on my friends list, but everyone including those that may come to hate me as long as in the end, they too, ultimately only want this country to rise to greatness.
My preference is that this paper will provide unbiased analysis where necessary. If there are disputes of importance, I desire that this paper will ensure that all sides are represented as equally as possible. That it manages to help at least one person every so often that reads it. Ultimately and overall, I want this paper to lives up to its name and provide “keys” of some kind with every publication of it.
This paper’s ultimate goal is to provide keys to success, keys to survival here, growth, diplomacy, to your congressman, knowledge, and or whatever else but ultimately keys of some kind to those that read it.
While the paper will typically be divided into different sections, my intent is for this first article to be the longest one it will ever have as we are all busy and there are so many other things to see and articles to read and I will be trying to keep this in mind.
Well, I’ve spoken long enough here so to wrap this up, I want to thank all of those that have been helping me here thus far and have been patient and kind enough to answer my questions and thank all of you for your support of this paper and for bearing with me. It is with honor, pride, and without further adieu, I humbly present to you the maiden voyage and first publication of:
Kolumn Sutra: Nobody Likes a Quitter
First of all, congratulations and good luck to all our congress people that were voted in this election . I hope I speak for all when I say we look forward to working with you and wish you luck on your term in office.
When the recent elections came to a close on the 26th of February, many rejoiced not only due to the influx of new congress men and women, but also because a there was now a new party in charge of the senate. The party known as New America First , more commonly known as the NAF, managed to get more of their people voted into congress than the combined numbers of the voted in candidates of the Federalist and American House Party .
There are several possible reasons why this may have occurred, one of the most obvious being that they are currently the largest party of America and that may be due to people wanting a change. A citizen can only speculate as to what afforded them their success this go around.
Regardless, there are of course those unhappy with the current regime as it were. This article is NOT about whether those unhappy with the current state of things have a legitimate gripe or not. This is only about chastising the idea of giving up just because things are not quite the way you want them to be, especially in an environment where power can, literally, shift hands every 30 days.
When you fall, you stand up, dust yourself off, and then plan for the next move. Anyone who watches any American sport regularly can tell you this. How many times has a team been faced with insurmountable odds and still managed to come out on top? There was a football game 1 or 2 seasons ago where they were down by a ridiculous amount of touchdowns by half time and they ended up coming back and winning.
So why should anyone give up? Why is it that in a country that is founded on and prides itself in never giving up would we, in a game version of that country, give up for any reason?
After all, what are we striving for here anyway? What is it that we all want to see? We want America to succeed and for our lands to be back in our control and for us o be a prosperous nation and THAT should come before all else.
Before how liked or disliked we are, before whether or not we are elected to an office, before even our own parties… we should be trying to support America as a whole.
So before giving up, before only advertising things being sold/done by your own party members… take the time to try to think as to how to support one another period and in general in our country.

About the game:
USA as a world power? In E-Sim it is possible!
In E-Sim we have a huge, living world, which is a mirror copy of the Earth. Well, maybe not completely mirrored, because the balance of power in this virtual world looks a bit different than in real life. In E-Sim, USA does not have to be a world superpower, It can be efficiently managed as a much smaller country that has entrepreneurial citizens that support it's foundation. Everything depends on the players themselves and how they decide to shape the political map of the game.
Work for the good of your country and see it rise to an empire.
Activities in this game are divided into several modules. First is the economy as a citizen in a country of your choice you must work to earn money, which you will get to spend for example, on food or purchase of weapons which are critical for your progress as a fighter. You will work in either private companies which are owned by players or government companies which are owned by the state. After progressing in the game you will finally get the opportunity to set up your own business and hire other players. If it prospers, we can even change it into a joint-stock company and enter the stock market and get even more money in this way.
In E-Sim, international wars are nothing out of the ordinary.
Become an influential politician.
The second module is a politics. Just like in real life politics in E-Sim are an extremely powerful tool that can be used for your own purposes. From time to time there are elections in the game in which you will not only vote, but also have the ability to run for the head of the party you're in. You can also apply for congress, where once elected you will be given the right to vote on laws proposed by your fellow congress members or your president and propose laws yourself. Voting on laws is important for your country as it can shape the lives of those around you. You can also try to become the head of a given party, and even take part in presidential elections and decide on the shape of the foreign policy of a given state (for example, who to declare war on). Career in politics is obviously not easy and in order to succeed in it, you have to have a good plan and compete for the votes of voters.
You can go bankrupt or become a rich man while playing the stock market.
The international war.
The last and probably the most important module is military. In E-Sim, countries are constantly fighting each other for control over territories which in return grant them access to more valuable raw materials. For this purpose, they form alliances, they fight international wars, but they also have to deal with, for example, uprisings in conquered countries or civil wars, which may explode on their territory. You can also take part in these clashes, although you are also given the opportunity to lead a life as a pacifist who focuses on other activities in the game (for example, running a successful newspaper or selling products).
At the auction you can sell or buy your dream inventory.
E-Sim is a unique browser game. It's creators ensured realistic representation of the mechanisms present in the real world and gave all power to the players who shape the image of the virtual Earth according to their own. So come and join them and help your country achieve its full potential.
