Dear Citizens,
In a couple of days there will be Party President elections again, I would like to run again as party president of Royal Dutch Knights again. Last month I was given the party presidency and I must admin I have not done a lot in that month. But after talking to my fellow party members we agreed that I should run again for party president and that this month we will be active and show what our party stands for what the vision Royal Dutch Knights have for sNetherlands.
A sNetherlands for All
Who are the Royal Dutch Knights? We are a political party that want to represent not only the older users
and the ruling class but also want to represent the the newer users. I am a firm believer in Liberté, égalité, fraternité (Freedom, Equality and brotherhood). Everybody in sNetherlands is free, free to do or stand where he or she wants to stand, believe what he or she wants to believe and say what that person wants to say as long as it's not hurtful or offensive in any way to somebody else. Everybody is equal. Nobody is less just because he is a lower level, has less experience or any thing else. We need to to stick up for each other, we are all brothers, we all want what is best for our country. Sometimes this means setting our own pride and ego aside and doing what is best for our country and not what is best for our self.
A Social sNetherlands
We need a social country, a country that helps its citizens, keeps them involved and keeps them engaged with fun stuff, competitions and what else. Helping citizens is a important part of of what our government should to in order to keep the citizens happy. We also need to educate our citizens especially the newer ones, to explain to them how every things works and and hopefully they understand the game and they are welcomed into the community that will stop less people from quitting the game.
We need our government to especially the ministry of Internal Affairs who is responsible for these kind of things to write and post articles with guides for new users to explain them how the games works, we need to help new citizen and offer coaches to new citizens to help them in their start of the game and help them with food if needed. We need to retain more people, to many people quit only after a few days just because they are bored of they don’t get the game. We need to help these people and keep them in the game.
A Militairy Strong sNetherlands
We where attacked by Poland and there wasn’t much we could do about it seeing they have 10 times as many citizens but with the help of our allies we fought against them and even won some against all odds. We still need a strong army, we need our people to become stronger this means fighting a lot and for that we need MPP’s. We need to make sure we have MPP that gives us regular fights and that we don’t go days without fights.
We need to improve our army, our national army the Krijgsmacht needs companies, we need to be able to give our soldiers who are willing to fight for our country supplies, food and weapons to fight our enemies and become even stronger soldiers. Royal Dutch Knights is a big advocate of giving the Krijgsmacht food companies, weapons companies and the needed raw companies that are needed to make this happen.
Our army also needs to be non-political, they should be independent and have only some influence from Politics. For the day to day affairs the army should have their own chain of command with a chief of staff and a deputy chief of staff who lead the army and people surrounding them who help them in their job. Ofourse the president stays the Commander-In-Chief of the army but will not interfere in day-to-day operations of the army.
A Democratic and Transparent sNetherlands
our country should be a democratic country, a country where we have a trias politica, a clear distinction between the branches of government. The Legislative Branch, congress, should will vote on laws, check if the government does it’s job and is responsible for the budgets and the money. The Executive Branch is the government, lead by the president. The president and his minister and deputy ministers who will lead to country in the daily affairs. The president has the power to choose his own cabinet as long as it’s members are Dutch citizens.
We also need laws, we need laws and procedures for congress, for the president and his cabinet and for so many things. There have been proposals for a constitution, but there still isn’t really one. we suggest that a group of experienced people who know the game will look into this and that they will make a constitution that will need the approval of congress.
The people have the right to know what is going on, that is why for our party transparency is so important. Both congress and cabinet should do hide their activities but as much as possible should be done in pain sight. Although we understand that certain aspect has to be done in private, most of the government should be done in public sight. Also the citizens should know what is going on in their country, what the government is doing and if their cabinet and congress is doing their job. The president should post regular update about what is going on and post a article halfway of their term and and the end of the term what each minister did this term.
A international sNetherlands
With the attack on our lands by Poland it showed us very clearly who our friends are and who not. We have gotten a lot of help from countries and Lithuania and Russia and a other countries. I think that makes it very clear where we should in the sWorld where we stand who who our friends are and we should adjust out foreign affairs policy accordingly. We need to keep close contacts with out friends also by sending ambassadors to their country and having their ambassadors send to our country.
Another aspect of being international is having people who are non Dutch getting citizenship in our country. We have a pretty small community but that might grow if we accept more non Dutch people into our country. The problem with that is that a lot of our forum discussions including congress and irc conversations are in Dutch. That is why Royal Dutch Knights proposed to make English the main language used in official affairs like congress. Most Dutch people should be able to speak English and this way we do not exclude anybody.
A Economic sNetherlands
Because of many productivity bonuses, the only products we can produce here with the maximum productivity bonuses are Food & Grain. Because we got a ‘lucky’ hit with grain RDK suggests we specialize our markets to a complete food & grain market. In the long run this means we can produce a lot of these products, which can be sold on both the Dutch and foreign markets. We would have to import other products from foreign markets, but because of our export we will be able to keep our country at maximum productivity and at a good economic position. In order to achieve this we need to make a clear statement that Grain and Food companies are being sponsored best. And we have to adjust our taxes accordingly.

About the game:
USA as a world power? In E-Sim it is possible!
In E-Sim we have a huge, living world, which is a mirror copy of the Earth. Well, maybe not completely mirrored, because the balance of power in this virtual world looks a bit different than in real life. In E-Sim, USA does not have to be a world superpower, It can be efficiently managed as a much smaller country that has entrepreneurial citizens that support it's foundation. Everything depends on the players themselves and how they decide to shape the political map of the game.
Work for the good of your country and see it rise to an empire.
Activities in this game are divided into several modules. First is the economy as a citizen in a country of your choice you must work to earn money, which you will get to spend for example, on food or purchase of weapons which are critical for your progress as a fighter. You will work in either private companies which are owned by players or government companies which are owned by the state. After progressing in the game you will finally get the opportunity to set up your own business and hire other players. If it prospers, we can even change it into a joint-stock company and enter the stock market and get even more money in this way.
In E-Sim, international wars are nothing out of the ordinary.
Become an influential politician.
The second module is a politics. Just like in real life politics in E-Sim are an extremely powerful tool that can be used for your own purposes. From time to time there are elections in the game in which you will not only vote, but also have the ability to run for the head of the party you're in. You can also apply for congress, where once elected you will be given the right to vote on laws proposed by your fellow congress members or your president and propose laws yourself. Voting on laws is important for your country as it can shape the lives of those around you. You can also try to become the head of a given party, and even take part in presidential elections and decide on the shape of the foreign policy of a given state (for example, who to declare war on). Career in politics is obviously not easy and in order to succeed in it, you have to have a good plan and compete for the votes of voters.
You can go bankrupt or become a rich man while playing the stock market.
The international war.
The last and probably the most important module is military. In E-Sim, countries are constantly fighting each other for control over territories which in return grant them access to more valuable raw materials. For this purpose, they form alliances, they fight international wars, but they also have to deal with, for example, uprisings in conquered countries or civil wars, which may explode on their territory. You can also take part in these clashes, although you are also given the opportunity to lead a life as a pacifist who focuses on other activities in the game (for example, running a successful newspaper or selling products).
