74 Countries Gone, Iran at 152 Regions — and the Battles Have Barely Stopped
Just over a week ago, Suna and Primera became one.
Before the merger, the big questions were simple: Who would ally with who? Who would fight? And what would the new balance of power look like?
We still don't have all the answers.
But one thing is clear:
The new Primera certainly hasn't been peaceful.
Battles have been almost constant, borders have been redrawn and dozens of countries have disappeared from the map entirely.
And France had the unfortunate honour of being the first to go.

France became the first country to be completely conquered following the merger.
They weren't lonely for long.
Since then, another 73 countries have joined France, meaning an incredible 74 countries are currently without a single region.
For a server that was full of uncertainty only a week ago, the political map is already starting to look very different.
While dozens of countries have disappeared, others have gone very much in the opposite direction
Iran Leads the Land Grab
At the top of the territorial rankings is Iran, which has expanded to an enormous 152 regions.
Bolivia isn't far behind in terms of triple-digit empires, while Mexico, Malaysia and Spain complete the top five.

With 263 regions between Iran and Bolivia alone, the two countries have already carved out enormous territories.
But owning land is only one measure of success.
Land Is One Thing. Productivity Is Another.
When we move away from the battlefield and look at productivity, the rankings change considerably.
Iran may dominate the map, but it doesn't dominate production. Instead, it is the USA sitting at number one.

This gives us a much more interesting picture of the new Primera.
Iran controls the most territory by a huge margin, yet sits only 8th for productivity.
The USA, meanwhile, is outside the territorial top five but is number one economically.
And perhaps the most impressive all-round performance belongs to Bolivia — second for regions and third for productivity.
Who Has Had the Best Start?
If we judge purely by territory, the answer is obvious:
Iran. At 152 regions, nobody else currently comes close.
If we judge by productivity:
USA.
But if we're looking for the country currently combining both territorial expansion and productivity, Bolivia has a very strong claim.
Mexico and Spain also deserve attention, with both appearing in the upper reaches of both rankings.
And that may prove important as the server settles down.
Because conquering territory is one thing.
Holding it while maintaining a strong economy is another.
From Uncertainty to Chaos
Before the merger, we wrote about the uncertainty surrounding the new Primera.
Would old enemies become friends?
Would new alliances form?
Would Primera dominate Suna, or Suna dominate Primera?
A week later, perhaps we were asking the wrong question.
The immediate story hasn't been about one old server defeating the other.
It has been about the sheer scale of change.
74 countries completely conquered.
Iran controlling 152 regions.
Bolivia controlling 111.
And a productivity table that looks very different from the territorial rankings.
The dust certainly hasn't settled yet.
If anything...
it looks like everyone is still kicking it up.
So What Happens Next?
The first week has given us winners, losers and a dramatically different world map.
But the biggest question now isn't necessarily who can conquer the most territory.
It's who can keep it.
Will Iran hold its enormous empire?
Can Bolivia continue competing on both the military and economic fronts?
Can the USA turn its productivity advantage into greater territorial power?
And will some of those 74 conquered countries find a way back onto the map?
One week into the new Primera, we have a few more answers than we did before the merger.
But thankfully for the rest of us watching...
there are still plenty of questions.

About the game:
USA as a world power? In E-Sim it is possible!
In E-Sim we have a huge, living world, which is a mirror copy of the Earth. Well, maybe not completely mirrored, because the balance of power in this virtual world looks a bit different than in real life. In E-Sim, USA does not have to be a world superpower, It can be efficiently managed as a much smaller country that has entrepreneurial citizens that support it's foundation. Everything depends on the players themselves and how they decide to shape the political map of the game.
Work for the good of your country and see it rise to an empire.
Activities in this game are divided into several modules. First is the economy as a citizen in a country of your choice you must work to earn money, which you will get to spend for example, on food or purchase of weapons which are critical for your progress as a fighter. You will work in either private companies which are owned by players or government companies which are owned by the state. After progressing in the game you will finally get the opportunity to set up your own business and hire other players. If it prospers, we can even change it into a joint-stock company and enter the stock market and get even more money in this way.
In E-Sim, international wars are nothing out of the ordinary.
Become an influential politician.
The second module is a politics. Just like in real life politics in E-Sim are an extremely powerful tool that can be used for your own purposes. From time to time there are elections in the game in which you will not only vote, but also have the ability to run for the head of the party you're in. You can also apply for congress, where once elected you will be given the right to vote on laws proposed by your fellow congress members or your president and propose laws yourself. Voting on laws is important for your country as it can shape the lives of those around you. You can also try to become the head of a given party, and even take part in presidential elections and decide on the shape of the foreign policy of a given state (for example, who to declare war on). Career in politics is obviously not easy and in order to succeed in it, you have to have a good plan and compete for the votes of voters.
You can go bankrupt or become a rich man while playing the stock market.
The international war.
The last and probably the most important module is military. In E-Sim, countries are constantly fighting each other for control over territories which in return grant them access to more valuable raw materials. For this purpose, they form alliances, they fight international wars, but they also have to deal with, for example, uprisings in conquered countries or civil wars, which may explode on their territory. You can also take part in these clashes, although you are also given the opportunity to lead a life as a pacifist who focuses on other activities in the game (for example, running a successful newspaper or selling products).
At the auction you can sell or buy your dream inventory.
