Singh Says -
Oye Paji! Chaal kuch different karle!

On a side note: Swing to this Bengali song as you read this article.

A new year arrives. And with it comes more possibilities, more unity and more to hope for. And ofcource - with it comes more problems.

As we are aware, our nations has had very little progress over the course of its life in this game.
And one of the problems we're facing is increasing aggression on our territories from Indonesia.
And not to mention - "Hamara laal raangki dost, hamara chawal saab kha jayega!"

If we stand and do things the old way, we will just be called "that some nation" by the stronger ones. Lets stop being slackers and do something for real!

------------------------------------------------------------------------

New Year's Resolutions are something we plan to do, and accomplish over the course of the year (hopefully in three months). This being said - you understand that this is NOT a Presidential Statement, as my term will be long over before these are accomplished.
So and so, I intend to end my term early anyways.

[center]GOALS

> GET MPPs: India has had no MPP since the first month of its creation. Well, what would you expect? Nobody wants to waste gold making alliance with a weak country.
But in reality, we are not THAT weak. True we dont have players - but we can still unload payloads of damage which are worth more than more populated countries.
I intend to get some MPPs going, as a trail ofcource, simply to see if our daily damage can meet the standards - I leave it to the Indian people to make sure we can resign our MPPs once they're over.

> ECONOMY BOOM: How do you create an economic boom? Answer is simple - increase retail. Just like in RL.
If we can get our people to return to India, foreign tycoons will begin to sell goods to India again. And so "presumably" increasing our income.
The plan -
~ Get players to return to India
~ Attract foreign investors
~ Get a Q5 factory

> SOLIDIFYING THE MINISTRY: Previous attempts at creating Cabinet ministers were awful failures. The first two cabinets of sIndia were made of capable players - but regretfully, the posts where they would've shown their highest capacity were given to other cabinet ministers.
Big mistake.
I intend to make a ministry based on people who are capable on handling the exact task they are given.

> CATALOGING PLAYERS: We had a pioneering campaign to make a catalog the information of sIndians. So that the Government can increase its efficiency, and stop PTOs. However this project was quickly abandoned, because in trying to making India more inefficient - we found that the catalogers were inefficient themselves.
Time to make a new start! Only this time, we intend to continue what we started - with the help of the Cabinet AND the people.

> MILITARIZATION: A person's backbone is his education. And a country's backbone is its military. So why not have an "Educated Army"
When I say "educated", I mean players who know "how to fight" and "where to fight".
~ HOW TO FIGHT: "Just press the damned button, what else?" <- Spoken like a true laymen.
~ WHERE TO FIGHT: Some of our players deliberately deal damage against China - which is ABSOLUTELY AGAINST our policy. The best thing to do would be to learn to follow orders - the government is almost all cases, knows better than the general public.

^-- I'll address both these points in another article.

> THE IRC BUSTLE: Previously, our IRC was flourishing, now a days spiders have made homes in it. We ought to start mopping out the nets once we are more organized.
It might strike some of the readers as a awkward idea to increase communication AFTER becoming organized. But in reality, its harder to get people into IRC than you think.
For one - a lot of people dont know what IRC is. And several Indian players (including me) prefer to log in from cell. And you cant run IRC from OperaMini.

> ENHANCE MEDIA CULTURE: Balle Balle, Shava Shava, etc etc. The easiest way to unite people is to spread culture. "Shubho Nobo Borsho", there! That's spread of culture from a Bengali! You're turn! (^_^) [For all the kids who were unfortunate and never learned my beautiful language, the Americans created Google for unlucky people like you! ]
In this game, we unify people through the publishing of articles. Whats the point to that? It gets the population into the habit of reading. Something that we WANT the people to do.
We intend to stress on the Media department as soon as we've organized the people more.

A GUARANTEED PROMISE?

Needless to say, this game is not much different than reallife.
Politicians make promises but never fulfill them.

Famous Quotes -
The politicians in South-East Asia start off at A and end at E
- Dr. Md. Yunus

Saab ke saab chore hain, sala!
- Crescent

This would be a good time to say - I am NOT a politician. I'm a governor - there is a difference. My job is to maintain continued prosperity. A politicians job is to earn money and stop other people from getting their position.
And as I had said earlier, this is not a Presidential Statement. And I say clearly - I NEVER make promises.
That is because - this list of things to-do cannot to be completed with my power - it can be completed with YOURS. Make use of it!

Famous Governors:
- Abraham Lincoln
- Sun Yat-sen
- Mahatma Gandhi
- Blackadder

Famous Politicians:
- Hilary Clinton
- Winston Churchill
- human

About the game:

USA as a world power? In E-Sim it is possible!

In E-Sim we have a huge, living world, which is a mirror copy of the Earth. Well, maybe not completely mirrored, because the balance of power in this virtual world looks a bit different than in real life. In E-Sim, USA does not have to be a world superpower, It can be efficiently managed as a much smaller country that has entrepreneurial citizens that support it's foundation. Everything depends on the players themselves and how they decide to shape the political map of the game.

Work for the good of your country and see it rise to an empire.

Activities in this game are divided into several modules. First is the economy as a citizen in a country of your choice you must work to earn money, which you will get to spend for example, on food or purchase of weapons which are critical for your progress as a fighter. You will work in either private companies which are owned by players or government companies which are owned by the state. After progressing in the game you will finally get the opportunity to set up your own business and hire other players. If it prospers, we can even change it into a joint-stock company and enter the stock market and get even more money in this way.

In E-Sim, international wars are nothing out of the ordinary.

"E-Sim is one of the most unique browser games out there"

Become an influential politician.

The second module is a politics. Just like in real life politics in E-Sim are an extremely powerful tool that can be used for your own purposes. From time to time there are elections in the game in which you will not only vote, but also have the ability to run for the head of the party you're in. You can also apply for congress, where once elected you will be given the right to vote on laws proposed by your fellow congress members or your president and propose laws yourself. Voting on laws is important for your country as it can shape the lives of those around you. You can also try to become the head of a given party, and even take part in presidential elections and decide on the shape of the foreign policy of a given state (for example, who to declare war on). Career in politics is obviously not easy and in order to succeed in it, you have to have a good plan and compete for the votes of voters.

You can go bankrupt or become a rich man while playing the stock market.

The international war.

The last and probably the most important module is military. In E-Sim, countries are constantly fighting each other for control over territories which in return grant them access to more valuable raw materials. For this purpose, they form alliances, they fight international wars, but they also have to deal with, for example, uprisings in conquered countries or civil wars, which may explode on their territory. You can also take part in these clashes, although you are also given the opportunity to lead a life as a pacifist who focuses on other activities in the game (for example, running a successful newspaper or selling products).

At the auction you can sell or buy your dream inventory.

E-Sim is a unique browser game. It's creators ensured realistic representation of the mechanisms present in the real world and gave all power to the players who shape the image of the virtual Earth according to their own. So come and join them and help your country achieve its full potential.
