Greetings, my fellow Americans.

As promised, this is my follow up article explaining how you can get in on free supplies from the Government.

As mentioned in the previous article, published in the Department of Defense newspaper, our supply will now focus on Q3 and Q5 weapons for players in Elite Military Unites, so if you aren't in one, get on it! There are plenty of good options and all it usually takes is a quick application and, maybe, a Private Message or two.

Anyway, let's get down to brass tacks.

When there are important battles, either for tne nation or for a nation we are allied with, the Department of Defense runs a program by which we distribute Weapons, Gifts, Food, Tickets, Gifts or whatever for fighters who come online to lay their damage down in a coordinated effort with other Americans. We call this program 'Hell on Wheels' and it's been a thing since before I even started playing, if I'm not mistaken.

Now that all sounds like a great deal, and it is, but there is a catch. You must show up on IRC and you must use those supplies as directed by the staff. We can afford to give you full weapons, if you don't have any. We can afford to give you Q5's and Gifts, if the need is dire. But we just cannot afford to give you those things to hunt BH Medals with.

Efficient damage management is the trial by which America wins or loses our toughest fights and this sort of discipline once shut down a Polish invasion into Alaska.

When we act together, as one blade, we are a remarkable force.

When we act separately... well, you have seen the results.

"Well, that's all well and good," I hear you saying, "but what is this 'IRC' you speak of?"

I'm glad you asked, convenient hypothetical person!

IRC stands for Internet Relay Chat. It's just about as old as the internet and there are many ways of accessing it, since is is not bound to any particular website or program, but is rather a protocol used to access a network. There are several IRC clients you can use, such as mIRC or xChat and even versions that can be used from your mobile device, such as AndChat.

I will, however, be explaining the easiest way anyone can get on IRC and in our coordinated strike channel within a few minutes. Once you've comfortable with the basics, it will be easy for you to research on your own and be as much of a power user as you like.

Mibbit is by far the easiest way to get started. It is a website, free to use and very user friendly. If you click here it will take you to the client interface. It will look like this:

As described in the picture, you will need to use the drop-down menu to select the Rizon server, as that is the one used by most nations in eSim and is the one we use. Each server has a virtually limitless number of user operated channels and you can even set up your own channel for your own private use, if you like. Channels are designated with a pound sign (hashtag) and the main national channel we use is #e-sim.usa. Type that into the channel field and then type in a user name of your choice, then hit 'Connect'.

If it looks like this, you're doing it right

After a wall of text splashes on your screen, you should be welcomed with a page that looks like this:

If it doesn't look pretty much exactly like that, you did something wrong and should double check you didn't miss anything. (If you can't get it to work, I will post a way to cheat your way in at the bottom of the article. At the bottom of the screen, there will be a field for you to enter text. When you send, it will be sent to the server and relayed to all the other users in the room.

As you can see in the picture, I have entered the text:

/ns register genericname@gmail.com something clever

That will register your nickname with the Rizon server and prevent people from impersonating you. This is important because you cannot enter the strike room without being registered first!

Once you are all registered and ready to go, just type:

/join #sim-us.strikes

And you will be ready to fight like the proud American I know you are.

If you're still having trouble, simply click here and say 'AsukaLangley' or 'Fionia' and one of us will help you figure it out!

Looking forward to seeing you!

Love,

About the game:

USA as a world power? In E-Sim it is possible!

In E-Sim we have a huge, living world, which is a mirror copy of the Earth. Well, maybe not completely mirrored, because the balance of power in this virtual world looks a bit different than in real life. In E-Sim, USA does not have to be a world superpower, It can be efficiently managed as a much smaller country that has entrepreneurial citizens that support it's foundation. Everything depends on the players themselves and how they decide to shape the political map of the game.

Work for the good of your country and see it rise to an empire.

Activities in this game are divided into several modules. First is the economy as a citizen in a country of your choice you must work to earn money, which you will get to spend for example, on food or purchase of weapons which are critical for your progress as a fighter. You will work in either private companies which are owned by players or government companies which are owned by the state. After progressing in the game you will finally get the opportunity to set up your own business and hire other players. If it prospers, we can even change it into a joint-stock company and enter the stock market and get even more money in this way.

In E-Sim, international wars are nothing out of the ordinary.

Become an influential politician.

The second module is a politics. Just like in real life politics in E-Sim are an extremely powerful tool that can be used for your own purposes. From time to time there are elections in the game in which you will not only vote, but also have the ability to run for the head of the party you're in. You can also apply for congress, where once elected you will be given the right to vote on laws proposed by your fellow congress members or your president and propose laws yourself. Voting on laws is important for your country as it can shape the lives of those around you. You can also try to become the head of a given party, and even take part in presidential elections and decide on the shape of the foreign policy of a given state (for example, who to declare war on). Career in politics is obviously not easy and in order to succeed in it, you have to have a good plan and compete for the votes of voters.

You can go bankrupt or become a rich man while playing the stock market.

The international war.

The last and probably the most important module is military. In E-Sim, countries are constantly fighting each other for control over territories which in return grant them access to more valuable raw materials. For this purpose, they form alliances, they fight international wars, but they also have to deal with, for example, uprisings in conquered countries or civil wars, which may explode on their territory. You can also take part in these clashes, although you are also given the opportunity to lead a life as a pacifist who focuses on other activities in the game (for example, running a successful newspaper or selling products).

At the auction you can sell or buy your dream inventory.

E-Sim is a unique browser game. It's creators ensured realistic representation of the mechanisms present in the real world and gave all power to the players who shape the image of the virtual Earth according to their own. So come and join them and help your country achieve its full potential.
