Can I start a little off topic, by saying that there have been a lot of inflammatory articles in support of Socialism recently, decrying and denouncing anyone who doesn't agree with it. That is wrong. That is not what Politics is or should be about. Politics is issues, not people. Politics is the country, not the individuals in Politics. Decrying someone or attacking them because they don't agree with Socialism is wrong. Socialism should be about and is fundamentally about unity, not division, and that has been lost, with infighting within the Socialist movement, and attacks on and from prominent Socialists. This has to stop. My call, at the start of this article, is for a civilised Politics. No more personal attacks by Socialists on Centrists or Capitalists and no more attacks from Centrists and Capitalists on Socialists. We may have fundamentally different beliefs but at the end of the day we must all unite behind those differences of opinion, to get the best deal for the UK. Don't attack other ideologies without proper evidence or justification. That is my plea; that no matter what, we must not allow this petty tribalism to continue. It makes Socialism look bad. It makes Centrism look bad. It makes Capitalism look bad. It makes Britain look bad. I beg you: stop.

That is not the subject of this article, but it had to be said. No, in this article, I want to publish an articulate defense of Socialism, with specific reference to it's adoption within The People's Party. And I will WITHOUT ATTACKING OTHER PEOPLE. If your ideology is strong enough, you should not need to attack people.

I fundamentally believe that Socialism is the ideology of the people. The seat of values and beliefs that wants to create opportunity and the welfare of people first, before wider profit. Surely, that should be a priority for a Party with "People" in the name. To ensure that the British people have the best deal, with no regard to the market as long as people are prospering. State intervention, as I see it, is a necessary evil. If people are suffering, the Government should step in and end that suffering. If people have nothing. The Government should help them get something. If people have no opportunity, the Government should make opportunity. If some people have nothing, through no fault of their own, and others have a fortune, whether earned or not, that money should be shared with those who have nothing, for no one deserves to suffer, if they are doing so because they have no choice or opportunities and want to make something of their lives. If a company is making a good profit and paying their employees little, the Government should help them get a fair deal, whether it be through direct Government demands, or Government intervention via Trade Unions. Socialism is about putting the poorest and most vulnerable people first before anyone else. Socialism is about influencing and intervening in the market to create opportunity and fairness. To put people above profit is a noble and important cause, and if The People's Party truly wants to fight for people, that must be the course to take. To say "Screw you" to individuals who are scared of losing their profits, and say "You're welcome" to those in need of help.

I've had people tell me they don't like that I have turned TPP in to something it's not, and have changed it too much. TPP can't stay the same forever. We can't afford for it to. It has to change, and that's what I wanted to do, change it. But I have at no point forced TPP to turn leftwards. Any proposed policies have been debated. And I have not enforced my views on the Party. I am openly a Socialist. I am happy to admit that. But I have not and don't want to force that upon TPP, and will not if re-elected leader. I want a strong Party that stands up for the people, but I want a united movement, that, yes, has differences of opinion, but accepts that and works together. I want to create strong sub-Parties within the Party. Socialists. Centrists. Even Communists, Left-Leaning Capitalists and Left-Leaning Conservatives. This election has made me recognise that there is division within the Party, and my solution to that is reform, to create strong sub-movements, that democratically work together within the Party. That is how we can move forward and thrive. Yes, I believe that Socialism should be the ideology of TPP, but if the parts of the Party want different things then lets harness that and work together with different left-leaning ideals. I do believe a Socialist should lead the Party, as a strong guiding light, right bang in the middle between Communist and Centrist, and to unify the Party with a new internal structure and a faction-based system.

So I ask you today, whether you agree whole-heartedly with Socialism or not, to vote for a Socialist with strong ideas to continue to lead, rather than rejecting me - I have done all I can for this Party and I want to continue. I won't force Socialism on you, but will lead with unification in mind. We are a broad church. Let's not reject a leader just because he comes from a certain part of the Party.

Ps: I want to clarify my position on state owned companies. I published an article the other day supporting state ownership. This is a position that I am still considering. Call it a U-turn if you want, but my position was never fixed. My mind can be swayed by evidence and public opinion, and there is plenty of time before any presidential election. I certainly feel that the state should have some involvement in the market, and a state company is certainly a possibility, but is something I wish to consider, if there are better alternatives. Please, stop speaking for me. I have my own voice.

About the game:

USA as a world power? In E-Sim it is possible!

In E-Sim we have a huge, living world, which is a mirror copy of the Earth. Well, maybe not completely mirrored, because the balance of power in this virtual world looks a bit different than in real life. In E-Sim, USA does not have to be a world superpower, It can be efficiently managed as a much smaller country that has entrepreneurial citizens that support it's foundation. Everything depends on the players themselves and how they decide to shape the political map of the game.

Work for the good of your country and see it rise to an empire.

Activities in this game are divided into several modules. First is the economy as a citizen in a country of your choice you must work to earn money, which you will get to spend for example, on food or purchase of weapons which are critical for your progress as a fighter. You will work in either private companies which are owned by players or government companies which are owned by the state. After progressing in the game you will finally get the opportunity to set up your own business and hire other players. If it prospers, we can even change it into a joint-stock company and enter the stock market and get even more money in this way.

In E-Sim, international wars are nothing out of the ordinary.

Become an influential politician.

The second module is a politics. Just like in real life politics in E-Sim are an extremely powerful tool that can be used for your own purposes. From time to time there are elections in the game in which you will not only vote, but also have the ability to run for the head of the party you're in. You can also apply for congress, where once elected you will be given the right to vote on laws proposed by your fellow congress members or your president and propose laws yourself. Voting on laws is important for your country as it can shape the lives of those around you. You can also try to become the head of a given party, and even take part in presidential elections and decide on the shape of the foreign policy of a given state (for example, who to declare war on). Career in politics is obviously not easy and in order to succeed in it, you have to have a good plan and compete for the votes of voters.

You can go bankrupt or become a rich man while playing the stock market.

The international war.

The last and probably the most important module is military. In E-Sim, countries are constantly fighting each other for control over territories which in return grant them access to more valuable raw materials. For this purpose, they form alliances, they fight international wars, but they also have to deal with, for example, uprisings in conquered countries or civil wars, which may explode on their territory. You can also take part in these clashes, although you are also given the opportunity to lead a life as a pacifist who focuses on other activities in the game (for example, running a successful newspaper or selling products).

At the auction you can sell or buy your dream inventory.

E-Sim is a unique browser game. It's creators ensured realistic representation of the mechanisms present in the real world and gave all power to the players who shape the image of the virtual Earth according to their own. So come and join them and help your country achieve its full potential.
