★ Tulip Farella has announced that she will be standing to be the President of the United Kingdom in Wednesday's Presidential Election. The announcement was expected and anticipated and has now been delivered, making Tulip the only Presidential Candidate so far - whether anyone else is considering a candidature is as yet unknown. Her announcement is as follows:
I'm standing for president, just wanted to outline what I've been doing and what i intend to do.
I have been the UK's diplomat for the last few months have spoke to people and made allies, some we have an MPP with and some we don't.
(The 10 gold cost is off putting, but I've decided that if i donate the 5gold from a BH to the treasury then that is half the cost, so its only 5gold for us).
The last time i stood I said i was going to improve the UK's foreign relationships, to make us friends and get MPP's which i have done, we are in a better situation now than we were, and i intend to keep doing that.
I wanted to update you all on our foreign affairs.
We are friendly with: Sweden, Australia/Rafe, Estonia/bailey89, Turkey/mario8441, Peru/RODERIK1983 and I've set orders to help anyone being attacked by our enemies like Ukraine and Netherlands.
I was also contacted by the USA's diplomat Asuka Langley Soryu though she's inactive now.
I did contact Canada's president VonTaivas to see if we could get peace, but had no reply. That was four days ago, so obviously that's not happening, but it was worth a try.
And I've offered support to the Dutch and Belgium presidents Janniemoney and Inter imo.
(To up date whats happened, Belgium decided to attack Canada first rather than just wait to be next, we are supporting them obviously.
No-one was on at the time of the meeting, and there was more than eight hours notice; I was speaking for the UK as our diplomat, so I said we would support them.
I can't make a decision without consulting congress, but its a no-brainer, there'd be no opposition to it, and i did mail people afterwards to let them know what had happened).
We need people to come to IRC if only to say hello, in case somethings going on.
I'll be in the IRC around teatime 6-7pm as people tend to be on around at that time, and I am active and try to log 3-4 times a day to keep an eye on whats going on so I can be contacted easily.

So, what we can establish from this is that she is running on the same ticket on which she stood in her successful June Candidatures - of improved Foreign relations and a strong fightback against Canadian occupation. Even in the least month where she hasn't been President, she has still be fighting for this, and is obviously playing on the success of this. Given the British reaction to this familiar tactic from Tulip of evicting one of the most popular and longest serving Presidents in British history, things certainly bode well for Tulip - especially if she is without a challenger from any other party, which is something I hugely anticipate.
law7441 , Rise of UK leader, has been remarkably inactive since his electoral defeat in June - and didn't even stand in the July election, where the were no candidates, and has been unusually quiet socially - suggesting a level of inactivity which could stop him from standing for President. And, at the same time, Presidential Candidates from other Parties are rare and unusual things recently, and there's no signs of that changing - so unless 
King_of_the_sidewalk decides that he enjoyed being interim President so much that he wants to betray his promise to Tulip of handing power back to her at the next election, or law makes a sudden reappearance we could see a guaranteed Tulip victory - and also a rather unexciting election, but on the other hand a stable result of a trustworthy and brilliant President.

USA as a world power? In E-Sim it is possible!
In E-Sim we have a huge, living world, which is a mirror copy of the Earth. Well, maybe not completely mirrored, because the balance of power in this virtual world looks a bit different than in real life. In E-Sim, USA does not have to be a world superpower, It can be efficiently managed as a much smaller country that has entrepreneurial citizens that support it's foundation. Everything depends on the players themselves and how they decide to shape the political map of the game.
Work for the good of your country and see it rise to an empire.
Activities in this game are divided into several modules. First is the economy as a citizen in a country of your choice you must work to earn money, which you will get to spend for example, on food or purchase of weapons which are critical for your progress as a fighter. You will work in either private companies which are owned by players or government companies which are owned by the state. After progressing in the game you will finally get the opportunity to set up your own business and hire other players. If it prospers, we can even change it into a joint-stock company and enter the stock market and get even more money in this way.
In E-Sim, international wars are nothing out of the ordinary.
Become an influential politician.
The second module is a politics. Just like in real life politics in E-Sim are an extremely powerful tool that can be used for your own purposes. From time to time there are elections in the game in which you will not only vote, but also have the ability to run for the head of the party you're in. You can also apply for congress, where once elected you will be given the right to vote on laws proposed by your fellow congress members or your president and propose laws yourself. Voting on laws is important for your country as it can shape the lives of those around you. You can also try to become the head of a given party, and even take part in presidential elections and decide on the shape of the foreign policy of a given state (for example, who to declare war on). Career in politics is obviously not easy and in order to succeed in it, you have to have a good plan and compete for the votes of voters.
You can go bankrupt or become a rich man while playing the stock market.
The international war.
The last and probably the most important module is military. In E-Sim, countries are constantly fighting each other for control over territories which in return grant them access to more valuable raw materials. For this purpose, they form alliances, they fight international wars, but they also have to deal with, for example, uprisings in conquered countries or civil wars, which may explode on their territory. You can also take part in these clashes, although you are also given the opportunity to lead a life as a pacifist who focuses on other activities in the game (for example, running a successful newspaper or selling products).
At the auction you can sell or buy your dream inventory.
E-Sim is a unique browser game. It's creators ensured realistic representation of the mechanisms present in the real world and gave all power to the players who shape the image of the virtual Earth according to their own. So come and join them and help your country achieve its full potential.
