I'm going to touch on an old, and constantly debated, couple of topics. Real life nationality vs e-sim nationality, and what defines a PTO'er. My first article on this in e-sim, is over a year old but still applies 100% to the hear and now. You should all give it a read I think. But really everyone should leave your real life hatreds, and real life national pride, and everything else real life in real life... this is esim NOT real life. It's a video game, we can be from wherever in real life, but in this game we choose a nation. We fight for that nation, we try to improve that nation, we try to build that nation up. Here in Japan that is particularly difficult, because there are so many people that come to this country from so many places in the real world. Inevitably things get heated and the feces flies.

The thing we need to remember is we chose a nation, for whatever reason, and that is who we are here in e-sim. Thanks to the actions of certain eRep based individuals, I personally find myself predisposed to dislike Serbians here. What few interactions I have had with e-sim based Serbians has not done much to change my opinion either. Have there been really cool Serbs that I've dealt with? Yes. Have there been some that I befriended in either game? Yes. Have there been times I've gone out of my way to fight against Serbia because of the annoying ones I have dealt with? Absolutely! But if Japan is fighting a battle, and I could jump off and fight Serbians, guess what? I fight for Japan. Why? Because I am a Japanese citizen in this game, and Japan always comes first. It has to come first for all its citizens, because if it doesn't then there is no point in being a member of this nation.

At one time Taiwan was both friend and ally to Japan, and I would love for that to be the case again at some point. But until they do Taiwan is an enemy and one that is forcibly occupying our land. Because of that we should ALL fight them when and where we can. I don't care if you live there in real life or not, here you are Japanese, give your virtual home the same dedication you give your real life one.

Failure to put your e-sim home first, generally means you fall into the other kind of citizen, the PTOer. A PTO'er is someone that comes to a country to do that country harm, or, to force it into actions that are against that country's benefit. Another kind of PTOer is one that is a little less overtly antagonistic, they are out to push their new home to benefit their old one. For example if someone goes from Mexico to Zimbabwe to manipulate Zimbabwe in various ways to benefit Mexico, without any thought to the health, benefits, or harm their actions could do to Zimbabwe. Again my other article addresses this quite well I think, as well as how one can begin to determine who is or is not a PTOer.

TL : DR version - Leave real life at the door people this is a video game, fight for your home here and work to better it.

Now enough of all that seriousness.... and for the part you all actually want to see....

yes its Godzilla as a girl

About the game:

USA as a world power? In E-Sim it is possible!

In E-Sim we have a huge, living world, which is a mirror copy of the Earth. Well, maybe not completely mirrored, because the balance of power in this virtual world looks a bit different than in real life. In E-Sim, USA does not have to be a world superpower, It can be efficiently managed as a much smaller country that has entrepreneurial citizens that support it's foundation. Everything depends on the players themselves and how they decide to shape the political map of the game.

Work for the good of your country and see it rise to an empire.

Activities in this game are divided into several modules. First is the economy as a citizen in a country of your choice you must work to earn money, which you will get to spend for example, on food or purchase of weapons which are critical for your progress as a fighter. You will work in either private companies which are owned by players or government companies which are owned by the state. After progressing in the game you will finally get the opportunity to set up your own business and hire other players. If it prospers, we can even change it into a joint-stock company and enter the stock market and get even more money in this way.

In E-Sim, international wars are nothing out of the ordinary.

Become an influential politician.

The second module is a politics. Just like in real life politics in E-Sim are an extremely powerful tool that can be used for your own purposes. From time to time there are elections in the game in which you will not only vote, but also have the ability to run for the head of the party you're in. You can also apply for congress, where once elected you will be given the right to vote on laws proposed by your fellow congress members or your president and propose laws yourself. Voting on laws is important for your country as it can shape the lives of those around you. You can also try to become the head of a given party, and even take part in presidential elections and decide on the shape of the foreign policy of a given state (for example, who to declare war on). Career in politics is obviously not easy and in order to succeed in it, you have to have a good plan and compete for the votes of voters.

You can go bankrupt or become a rich man while playing the stock market.

The international war.

The last and probably the most important module is military. In E-Sim, countries are constantly fighting each other for control over territories which in return grant them access to more valuable raw materials. For this purpose, they form alliances, they fight international wars, but they also have to deal with, for example, uprisings in conquered countries or civil wars, which may explode on their territory. You can also take part in these clashes, although you are also given the opportunity to lead a life as a pacifist who focuses on other activities in the game (for example, running a successful newspaper or selling products).

At the auction you can sell or buy your dream inventory.

E-Sim is a unique browser game. It's creators ensured realistic representation of the mechanisms present in the real world and gave all power to the players who shape the image of the virtual Earth according to their own. So come and join them and help your country achieve its full potential.
