Hi.

I liked the idea of Re-Post: Choose your Destiny! , but it needs way better balance. What i can see from your voting results, you vote first, read second and (maybe) think third

Looks like you voted "who i want to be?" without reading profession description Lets see

So instead of long comment i decided to write an article. Please use more arguments to discuss in comments.

Fighter professions:


1. Warrior
- You get +5% damage to all of your attack.
- Also you can train twice a day.
- However this ability not rise your strength if you have the maximum, but if you are at cap it gives you a buff

If you have max strength, it gives almost nothing to you.

2. Mercenary
- You get 2 gold after every 10 million of DMG!
- Also every subsidy you get is doubled.
- However you can't fight in your country battles.

Subsidy is doubled by who - country or game?
Can't fight in your country battles - what about tournaments?

3. Ninja
- Your maximum avoid increased by 10%.
- Also your hits and damage in battle is invisible for 2 minute (This count from your first hit/berserk in a battle).
- However this ability only can used from 18:00pm to next day 06:00 am (ingametime) and you can't use any type of Camouflage.

Invisible damage? So how we can fight battles, if there's unknown result? Endless waste?
BH hunters could go to play roulette.

4. Brawler
- Your base damage and hit increased by 200%!
- Also your daily food and gift limit increased by 10.
- However you can't use any weapon.

Daily hits increased by ~40-100% and you don't need to use weapons? But at the same time damage is like with Q5 weapons? The worst-balanced role.

5. Sniper
- Your base critical strike is raised by +20%!
- Also your maximum damage increased by +5%.
- However you can only use Q5 weapons.

Most of players already have +20% critical, so in general you get nothing.

6. Tactician
- You get +10% chance to not use weapon when you fight.
- Also your damage increased by 1% for every military unit member who fought in the battle. (that means you can get maximum of 100% damage if every player in a 100 slot MU fight in a battle)
- However you can't fight without Military unit order.

So if you fight first, you get nothing? Because damage can't be retroactive.

Worker professions:


7. Producer
- Your work produce +20% more.
- Also your economy skill raised by +10% of current.
- However your damage decreased by 10%.

We would need separate job markets because of +20% productivity - it changes more than plus 1-2 economy skills.

8. Seller
- You have no import tax in every country.
- You can send contract without friendship approval.
- However you can't take political office.

Players like me could influence/destroy whole Primera economy because of entering markets with big income taxes. Countries would be left without part of income.

9. Manufacturer
- You need 20% less raw to make a product.
- You can work twice a day.
- However this ability not rise your economy skill, producing only half, and not count as work into hardworker medal.

Everyone would go to work to their own companies, because they could get double salary (imaginary, in this case = profit) with ~10% less self costs.

10. Company boss
- Your workers in your companies does not effected by decreased efficiency.
- Once a month you can relocate and change industry one of your company for free.
- However you can't fight. (not even at events)

If you are good boss, you don't have problems with efficiency.
1 company per month relocation is so looooooooooong... I would pay 25 g (less than loses because of efficiency and even less than 1 g per month).

11. Wall street mogul
- If you are CEO, you get 1 gold monthly for every 100 gold in your SC.
- Also splitting shares cost is reduced by 50%.
- However you can't donate anything to anyone.

This is good only to dead/inactive/big SC's with more than 1 shareholder. Detailed explanation would take too much time

12. Trader
- You get ability to pay in gold to your workers. (to give gold salary at job offers)
- Also your job offers never expired.
- However you only can have 5 worker/company.

Another one new job market. Messes up with small countries monetary markets.

Political professions:


13. Leader
- If you became president you can split 30% damage daily to your country people.
(example you choose 3 player and every of them get 10% or choose 2 and they get 15% etc. btw you can't choose yourself)
- Also if you are MU leader and became president same time all your country MU get bonus +5% damage.
- However if you not became president, you suffer -30% damage penalty and if you are not military unit leader then this penalty rise to 35%.

Very hard to administrate. If you win, wins others. If you lose, you lose. Non-sense

14. Adviser
- If you became congressman you will have 10 law instead of 5.
- Also as congressman starting resistance war in your country the cost is reduced by 5 gold.
- However you can't leave the congress.

Very useful person in every countries congress

15. Elder
- If you became congressman you can propose president options too (without being cp).
- Also your vote in any law count 2 instead of 1.
- However you only have 3 law proposal.

Another good idea. Looks like author of this idea was politician

16. Treasurer
- If you became congressman the gold in your country treasury increased by 1%.
- If you became president, your law proposal not cost any money.
- However if you not became either, you can't use in-game markets and contracts.

Balanced to China only - lots of gold every month + guaranteed win (only one participant). Once again - if you win, wins others. If you lose, you lose.

17. Freshman (for this profession enough to be level 7)
- At congress election you get extra 3 vote.
- At president election you get extra 5 vote.
- However this profession automatically expired after a month.

Hail PTO!

18. Supplanter
- You get 5 free gold monthly!
- You can join congress anytime if there is no 20 player (also get medal and 5 gold too (once a month)).
- However you can't elect for presidency if you used your ability.

More gold to 2clickers in small countries. Otherwise useless.

SUMMARY


I would say the worst-balanced professions with unreal possibilities are:
Military - Brawler, Ninja
Business - Seller, Manufacturer
Politics - there are no big problems. Only illogical ones - Leader, Treasurer, Freshman.

But what's your choice?



As near always - most of you don't see the biggest possible damages to economy. But even military professions are wrong on the top. Strange, isn't?

In E-Sim we have a huge, living world, which is a mirror copy of the Earth. Activities in this game are divided into several modules. First is the economy as a citizen in a country of your choice you must work to earn money, which you will get to spend for example, on food or purchase of weapons which are critical for your progress as a fighter. You will work in either private companies which are owned by players or government companies which are owned by the state. After progressing in the game you will finally get the opportunity to set up your own business and hire other players. If it prospers, we can even change it into a joint-stock company and enter the stock market and get even more money in this way.


In E-Sim, international wars are nothing out of the ordinary.

Become an influential politician.

The second module is a politics. Just like in real life politics in E-Sim are an extremely powerful tool that can be used for your own purposes. From time to time there are elections in the game in which you will not only vote, but also have the ability to run for the head of the party you're in. You can also apply for congress, where once elected you will be given the right to vote on laws proposed by your fellow congress members or your president and propose laws yourself. Voting on laws is important for your country as it can shape the lives of those around you. You can also try to become the head of a given party, and even take part in presidential elections and decide on the shape of the foreign policy of a given state (for example, who to declare war on). Career in politics is obviously not easy and in order to succeed in it, you have to have a good plan and compete for the votes of voters.


You can go bankrupt or become a rich man while playing the stock market.

The international war.

The last and probably the most important module is military. In E-Sim, countries are constantly fighting each other for control over territories which in return grant them access to more valuable raw materials. For this purpose, they form alliances, they fight international wars, but they also have to deal with, for example, uprisings in conquered countries or civil wars, which may explode on their territory. You can also take part in these clashes, although you are also given the opportunity to lead a life as a pacifist who focuses on other activities in the game (for example, running a successful newspaper or selling products).


At the auction you can sell or buy your dream inventory.
