Some pleasing tunes.

Heat it up until the teardrops start

But he can't be hurt, 'cause he has no heart

Live from the slums of the USA!

What's up, e-sim? I realize it's been over a year since the last time I actually put "pen to paper" and sat down to write any kind of meaningful article. What's piqued my interest? A few things, which I'll break down over time in small and digestible little chunks. You know, for those with tiny attention spans. So, without further ado, I'd like to start with the first part of this article, which I attempt to rebut Orlandio's article in part. I read it, and I think I understood what he's getting at.
I'll break it down: writing stimulates activity and popularity. (I won't rebut the points about mechanics, IE, achievements and mogul medals. Those are obvious side benefits for a popular writer.)

I actually believe that's backwards. Content drives interesting articles. Players create content every day, either via the battlefield, mishaps, elections, alliance drama, country drama, you name it. Without this inspiration, or without the main force driving an article, it makes no sense to merely slap a blog together.

Now, before anyone says it, I'm not here to hate on people who like to write. I believe that writing is a solid tool in a player's arsenal and if you're good at it, you can make money and become more popular because of it. It's useful as propaganda, trolling, elections statements, interviews, etc, but that doesn't change the fact that interesting content just doesn't happen as often in a game that's shrunken down to the size Primera has. This is what's causing the lack of good quality articles, and furthermore, article writers, to phone it in or just not bother.

Ultimately, the responsibility lies on the playerbase to create intriguing and engaging things for player to write about, or for players to stand out to make a newspaper popular as well.

Quick Domestic politics blurb!

Hopefully, it won't be something like this!

After all the drama has settled, I'm announcing a quiet bid for congress. I only make two promises.
1. Push for MPPs with war active nations, as there's quite a few countries in our alliance that we don't appear to be MPP'd with.
2. Make sure no BS laws are passed on my watch.

I will not spam you on Election Day. I will give notice that it IS Election day, as a reminder to you guys to go get your free XP.
If any of this sounds appealing, I'd appreciate a vote.

The Cut!

Remember folks. This is a sandbox MMO at its most base elements. The content you create is what makes games like this, the most interesting way to interact with it. There's also a plethora of ways of enjoying yourself, if social strategy games are your poison of choice. You either find an option that makes the ways of interacting with the community enjoyable, or you don't. If you plan on leading, then its up to you to paint a narrative that keeps people logging in each day. If you feel that there is nothing left here to be excited about, then that's probably the logical portion of your brain, telling you to log the eff out and go do something else.

May your paths to success be short and fulfilling.

About the game:

USA as a world power? In E-Sim it is possible!

In E-Sim we have a huge, living world, which is a mirror copy of the Earth. Well, maybe not completely mirrored, because the balance of power in this virtual world looks a bit different than in real life. In E-Sim, USA does not have to be a world superpower, It can be efficiently managed as a much smaller country that has entrepreneurial citizens that support it's foundation. Everything depends on the players themselves and how they decide to shape the political map of the game.

Work for the good of your country and see it rise to an empire.

Activities in this game are divided into several modules. First is the economy as a citizen in a country of your choice you must work to earn money, which you will get to spend for example, on food or purchase of weapons which are critical for your progress as a fighter. You will work in either private companies which are owned by players or government companies which are owned by the state. After progressing in the game you will finally get the opportunity to set up your own business and hire other players. If it prospers, we can even change it into a joint-stock company and enter the stock market and get even more money in this way.

In E-Sim, international wars are nothing out of the ordinary.

Become an influential politician.

The second module is a politics. Just like in real life politics in E-Sim are an extremely powerful tool that can be used for your own purposes. From time to time there are elections in the game in which you will not only vote, but also have the ability to run for the head of the party you're in. You can also apply for congress, where once elected you will be given the right to vote on laws proposed by your fellow congress members or your president and propose laws yourself. Voting on laws is important for your country as it can shape the lives of those around you. You can also try to become the head of a given party, and even take part in presidential elections and decide on the shape of the foreign policy of a given state (for example, who to declare war on). Career in politics is obviously not easy and in order to succeed in it, you have to have a good plan and compete for the votes of voters.

You can go bankrupt or become a rich man while playing the stock market.

The international war.

The last and probably the most important module is military. In E-Sim, countries are constantly fighting each other for control over territories which in return grant them access to more valuable raw materials. For this purpose, they form alliances, they fight international wars, but they also have to deal with, for example, uprisings in conquered countries or civil wars, which may explode on their territory. You can also take part in these clashes, although you are also given the opportunity to lead a life as a pacifist who focuses on other activities in the game (for example, running a successful newspaper or selling products).

At the auction you can sell or buy your dream inventory.

E-Sim is a unique browser game. It's creators ensured realistic representation of the mechanisms present in the real world and gave all power to the players who shape the image of the virtual Earth according to their own. So come and join them and help your country achieve its full potential.
