Grand Nicaraguan Air Travel (G.N.A.T.) is going to be just what the name suggests, Nicaragua's National Airline but still just a little airline. Our motto is "chickens fly for free". At GNAT, our goal is to become a worldwide competitor in cheap, no-frills air travel. Sure there are lots of airlines out there that serve you an in-flight meal. But where can you reach over to the seat behind you and grab a banana? And once on the ground where can you chicken dinner once be that chicken that flew across your lap? Really fresh food! No luxury airliner can promise you that.

GNAT is going to build its airfleet in Managua. We will create Nicaraguan jobs for Nicaraguan people. We will bring our citizens home. And we will begin constructing a thriving manufacturing economy right in our own country.

We will have the airplanes! We will have the cargo space! And we will have the foreign cash to buy fine imports and smuggle them in for you. Did I say "smuggle"? I meant "import with minimal tax". But what will you care when the guns and provisions you need to liberate the rest of your country will be at hand?

Regardless of the ebb and tide of Nicaragua's fortunes, one side of GNAT remains consistently profitable: Oil. Regrettably that is not a resource produced in Nicaragua, which may explain why it is so consistently profitable. Our new expansion plans therefor revolve around improving the output of our Oil wells. That will not only improve the profitability of our consistent earner, but also make us more competitive in the travel market and make our Nicaraguan government ticket contract profitable.
