April 5th is Easter, and it is also the day I hope you will choose me as the next President of the United States of America. I have been wrestling with this decision for a number of days now, and I have spoken to numerous individuals about this prospect. Ultimately it came down to a few key questions. Do I believe I can win? Do I believe I can make a positive difference for the eUSA and its citizens? Do I believe we need an election with serious competition? The answer to all three is yes. Also, the next April 5th to land on Easter Sunday will not occur until 2026! I could not miss this rare opportunity to be an Easter President.
Without further ado, here is my platform for your consideration....
Experience:
I may not have a bajillion terms in Congress like some, but the experience I have gathered so far is critical. As a Two-Term Congressman and Party President of Youth of America I have significant accomplishments which show that I have what it takes to be a successful President. I took the initiative in proposing the first New Citizen Message to pass Congress in quite a long time. The old one was outdated and this one should at least help us retain a few more new players. This was made possible by the fact that under my Presidency YoA grew its Congressional delegation from 3 to 8 seats in the course of a month, which helped provide us with the votes we needed to get this passed; with the help of a few friends in other parties as well.
I have also screened and participated in the approval of several new citizens who already have helped bring new life in to the country. I want to bring that same energy that I have brought to Congress and to the party I was elected to lead to the entire eUSA community at-large. I have allocated a significant amount of my personal gold to YoA companies and military units headed by Tophater and Lil Red respectively, and helped to bring some new members in to YoA Army, the first official military unit of our party. I look forward to seeing it reach elite status in the not too distant future to benefit our national security interests even more.
Economy:
I favor the low-tax approach as it seems to be what works best within game mechanics and has made the eUSA a business friendly haven in the world. I will also look in to either more fully privatizing or otherwise restructuring our national companies as this has worked in other nations as well.
Military Affairs:
It is fair to say that our national military units have been floundering. I will take steps to increase their activity and effectiveness as I believe it is important that a significant portion of our military forces be readily available for government sponsored operations. This may include buffing up our existing units, or inviting new units to become a part of the eUS military in either a full or partial capacity. Additionally, I will pressure Canada to uphold their agreement with us, or take appropriate action.
Foreign Affairs:
This is a sensitive area for many people. I would maintain our core alliances, but I also would like to build a more official, international alliance with an equally awesome name. My goal in foreign affairs would be to strengthen our position as a nation and to solidify this by an expansive and powerful alliance of nations.
Re-Energize America:
As part of my plan to re-energize America, I will continue to work to engage both current citizens more, as well as to strive to grow our population. I want to be the most connected President in recent history and will welcome all who genuinely wish to play a role in my government in whatever capacity they see fit.
Corruption:
As President I will issue the "Presidential Accountability Order" which is an executive order naming all former eUS Presidents who have been disciplined by the Admins for stealing or embezzling government funds from holding legitimate public office in the eUSA. There is at least one who has seemingly been accepted back in to the community and allowed to repeatedly hold elected office after his past egregious crimes against the citizens of this country. My government will have a zero tolerance policy when it comes to such dishonorable and illegal conduct.
Cabinet:
Just let me know if you wish to serve in my cabinet. I already have some names in mind but I am happy to include anyone who wants to help. As you can see, I'm already writing your names down!

About the game:
USA as a world power? In E-Sim it is possible!
In E-Sim we have a huge, living world, which is a mirror copy of the Earth. Well, maybe not completely mirrored, because the balance of power in this virtual world looks a bit different than in real life. In E-Sim, USA does not have to be a world superpower, It can be efficiently managed as a much smaller country that has entrepreneurial citizens that support it's foundation. Everything depends on the players themselves and how they decide to shape the political map of the game.
Work for the good of your country and see it rise to an empire.
Activities in this game are divided into several modules. First is the economy as a citizen in a country of your choice you must work to earn money, which you will get to spend for example, on food or purchase of weapons which are critical for your progress as a fighter. You will work in either private companies which are owned by players or government companies which are owned by the state. After progressing in the game you will finally get the opportunity to set up your own business and hire other players. If it prospers, we can even change it into a joint-stock company and enter the stock market and get even more money in this way.
In E-Sim, international wars are nothing out of the ordinary.
Become an influential politician.
The second module is a politics. Just like in real life politics in E-Sim are an extremely powerful tool that can be used for your own purposes. From time to time there are elections in the game in which you will not only vote, but also have the ability to run for the head of the party you're in. You can also apply for congress, where once elected you will be given the right to vote on laws proposed by your fellow congress members or your president and propose laws yourself. Voting on laws is important for your country as it can shape the lives of those around you. You can also try to become the head of a given party, and even take part in presidential elections and decide on the shape of the foreign policy of a given state (for example, who to declare war on). Career in politics is obviously not easy and in order to succeed in it, you have to have a good plan and compete for the votes of voters.
You can go bankrupt or become a rich man while playing the stock market.
The international war.
The last and probably the most important module is military. In E-Sim, countries are constantly fighting each other for control over territories which in return grant them access to more valuable raw materials. For this purpose, they form alliances, they fight international wars, but they also have to deal with, for example, uprisings in conquered countries or civil wars, which may explode on their territory. You can also take part in these clashes, although you are also given the opportunity to lead a life as a pacifist who focuses on other activities in the game (for example, running a successful newspaper or selling products).
At the auction you can sell or buy your dream inventory.
E-Sim is a unique browser game. It's creators ensured realistic representation of the mechanisms present in the real world and gave all power to the players who shape the image of the virtual Earth according to their own. So come and join them and help your country achieve its full potential.
