I saw a shout today, and out came all my feelings on the matter. I feel that I must share all these things, otherwise I may end up exploding from all the bits and pieces running through my mind. Here is the result...
sarah rose, i really cant follow your logic how you reach to this conclusion from quotes you post. I mean that it is impossible to help to all people who didn`t ask or search for help. Once weekly we post a repeatable educational article with all information that new-camers need, including how to join communes. All I could do was stay stunned reading it again and again. Finally, I woke up from the daze I had fallen in and then decided to reply to it. So, here it is...

You can provide to your commune because you have the gold for it. Where does that gold come from, dare I ask? From your high import taxes, vat, service tax??? Or from the market that you manipulate heavily, so that everyone else suffers loss, while you grow more and more richer.
A small entreprenuer can't run his business peacefully, because you guys first put so many taxes on him, then you guys manipulate the market so that no one else but you can afford to keep their company running. If a person want's to be a businessman, then they should buy a company OUTSIDE your country, because you're the only ones with any right to do business in your country, isn't that what you basically said in your comment? As far as i know, Russia haven't been declared dictatorship yet, Cheshire.
So, fact 1:
Your commune afford's provide food to your people by abusing and stealing from your own small entrepreneurs and manipulating the economy in your favour, which consequently is unfavourable to anyone who's not in your commune, while we are paying out of our own pockets to help everyone we can, provide as many people as we can, start our own commune to help EVERYONE who needs us and still keep trying to get back on our feat, against all odds...

Fact 2: You have your country because you had help from your 'puppet masters', and we lost our country because we were betrayed, lied to, backstabbed and then denied help from many sources, who were too busy favouring you.
Logomaster's only mistake was trusting you guys, and being naíve enough to believe your lies. He didn't play dirty politics, like many I can name, and that made him unable and unwilling to take advantage of his citizens for his own gain. It's better to have lost our country, than to build it on other's misfortune and taking advantage of someone you call your friend, but you won't understand that. The tamest word I could find without offending anyone or outright calling names is, Opportunist, perfect for people like you.
Fact 3: Disorganized we may be, but we are not defeated yet, for we still draw courage and hope from each other. And you know what they say... As long as there is one person holding on to a shred of hope, even if it's a fool's hope it's hope nonetheless, then there is yet a chance that things may turn out right. Thus, the reason to keep trying...
And courage? We are no cowards Cheshire, as can be attested that we are still fighting in the face of adversity, where others might've quit. Courage is not fighting on equal grounds. Courage is looking in the face of adversary, looming over your kneeling stance, grinning madly and saying BRING IT ON YOU JACKASS!!!

USA as a world power? In E-Sim it is possible!
In E-Sim we have a huge, living world, which is a mirror copy of the Earth. Well, maybe not completely mirrored, because the balance of power in this virtual world looks a bit different than in real life. In E-Sim, USA does not have to be a world superpower, It can be efficiently managed as a much smaller country that has entrepreneurial citizens that support it's foundation. Everything depends on the players themselves and how they decide to shape the political map of the game.
Work for the good of your country and see it rise to an empire.
Activities in this game are divided into several modules. First is the economy as a citizen in a country of your choice you must work to earn money, which you will get to spend for example, on food or purchase of weapons which are critical for your progress as a fighter. You will work in either private companies which are owned by players or government companies which are owned by the state. After progressing in the game you will finally get the opportunity to set up your own business and hire other players. If it prospers, we can even change it into a joint-stock company and enter the stock market and get even more money in this way.
In E-Sim, international wars are nothing out of the ordinary.
Become an influential politician.
The second module is a politics. Just like in real life politics in E-Sim are an extremely powerful tool that can be used for your own purposes. From time to time there are elections in the game in which you will not only vote, but also have the ability to run for the head of the party you're in. You can also apply for congress, where once elected you will be given the right to vote on laws proposed by your fellow congress members or your president and propose laws yourself. Voting on laws is important for your country as it can shape the lives of those around you. You can also try to become the head of a given party, and even take part in presidential elections and decide on the shape of the foreign policy of a given state (for example, who to declare war on). Career in politics is obviously not easy and in order to succeed in it, you have to have a good plan and compete for the votes of voters.
You can go bankrupt or become a rich man while playing the stock market.
The international war.
The last and probably the most important module is military. In E-Sim, countries are constantly fighting each other for control over territories which in return grant them access to more valuable raw materials. For this purpose, they form alliances, they fight international wars, but they also have to deal with, for example, uprisings in conquered countries or civil wars, which may explode on their territory. You can also take part in these clashes, although you are also given the opportunity to lead a life as a pacifist who focuses on other activities in the game (for example, running a successful newspaper or selling products).
At the auction you can sell or buy your dream inventory.
