Hiện tại IRC là phương thức liên lạc - trao đổi - mua bán chính của e-Sim, trong đó nhiều kênh (channel) chỉ cho phép những nick đã đăng ký tham gia, vì vậy chỉ dùng nick tự do sẽ rất thiệt thòi. Số báo đầu tiên mình sẽ trình bày cụ thể các bước để các bạn sở hữu một nick IRC "chính chủ" cũng như một vài thao tác nhỏ để xử lý các vấn đề liên quan
Trước tiên mình xin lưu ý, hình ảnh sử dụng trong bài là hình ảnh tại http://client00.chat.mibbit.com trực tiếp trên trình duyệt, không sử dụng phần mềm hay phần bổ trợ (sẽ được nhắc đến ở cuối bài báo) và NHỮNG CHỖ GẠCH CHÂN SẼ ĐƯỢC THAY BẰNG THÔNG TIN CÁ NHÂN CỦA BẠN.
A - Đăng ký:
Giao diện mibbit khi truy cập http://client00.chat.mibbit.com như sau:
Bước 1: Nhập thông tin và click Connect:
(Thay abcxyz bằng nick của bạn. Bạn nên dùng nick ngắn gọn, dễ nhìn và không có dấu cách hay ký tự đặc biệt. Server chọn Rizon [webirc], kênh - channel có thể nhập nhiều tên kênh một lúc với dấu phảy ngăn cách giữa các kênh, ví dụ: #Ori.Vietnam,#fetrade)
Các bước sau, để thuận tiện, chúng ta sẽ sử dụng tab Rizon
Bước 2: Gõ /ns register password email
Ví dụ: /ns register password abcxyz@gmail.com
CHÚ Ý: thay password bằng mật khẩu của bạn.
(Mình khuyên các bạn nên sử dụng gmail trong đăng ký nick IRC vì thư đến sẽ ở ngay hộp thư chính, các loại mail khác thư đến sẽ ở thùng rác hoặc spam, rất khó tìm)
Bước 3: Nhận mail từ Rizon và nhập passcode
Mail từ Rizon sẽ có dạng như sau
Copy phần đóng khung trong hình, paste vào tab Rizon. Bạn sẽ thấy thông báo đã đăng ký:
Xin chúc mừng, bạn đã đăng ký thành công nick IRC. Thật đơn giản phải không?
Với những lần đăng nhập kế tiếp, sau khi click Connect, tại tab Rizon gõ /ns id password và bạn sẽ được xác nhận.
B - Giải quyết một số sự cố trong quá trình đăng ký và sau đăng ký:
1. Đổi email đăng ký:
Sau khi làm xong bước 2 ở trên, nếu muốn đổi email các bạn gõ /ns cancel password và lặp lại bước 2 với email mới rồi tiếp tục.
2. Quên mật khẩu:
Nếu quên mật khẩu các bạn hãy gõ /ns resetpass nick. Bạn sẽ nhận được email như sau
Copy phần đóng khung trong hình, paste vào tab Rizon. Bạn sẽ thấy thông báo "Password changed to ---------" với password tạm thời --------- gồm 9 ký tự ngẫu nhiên. Gõ /ns id --------- để xác thực, sau đó gõ tiếp/ns set password password mới. Lần đăng nhập tới hãy dùng password mới với cú pháp như bình thường đã hướng dẫn ở trên.
C - Một số lệnh cơ bản:
/j #tên.kênh : tham gia (join) một kênh nào đó.
/me hành động: diễn tả hành động nào đó theo ngôi thứ 3.
Ví dụ: /me đang viết báo ~~~ sẽ cho kêt quả
/nick nick.mới: chuyển sang dùng nick mới (nick mới không có tác dụng thay thế nick đã đăng ký, chỉ là tạm thời trong lần online đó nên không dùng trong lần đăng nhập sau).
.ignore ramdom.nick: thay random.nick bằng nick bạn muốn bỏ qua, bạn sẽ không nhận được tin nhắn từ người đó nữa (sử dụng trong kênh).
/quit: thoát.
D - Các kênh có thể tham gia:
#Primera.Vietnam/#Suna.Vietnam/#Ori.Vietnam: kênh chính thức của Việt Nam tại server Primera/Suna/Oriental, ngôn ngữ sử dụng: tiếng Việt và tiếng Anh.
#strade/#sutrade/#fetrade: kênh buôn bán server Primera/Suna/Oriental, ngôn ngữ sử dụng: tiếng Anh.
#barkeep: kênh giải trí, ngôn ngữ sử dụng: tiếng Anh và tiếng Việt, chủ yếu là người nước ngoài.

E - Một số phần mềm, phần bổ trợ trình duyệt có thể truy cập IRC:
- Phần mềm: phổ biến nhất là mIRC

IRC is main communication method of e-Sim, and some channels require registered nick, this article will show you how to register a nick from A to Z as well as handle the issues
First I would like to notice that all images are from http://client00.chat.mibbit.com directly in your browser, I do not use software or extension (will be mentioned at the end) and these underline words will be replaced with your personal information.
A - Registration:
Mibbit's interface when accessing http://client00.chat.mibbit.com:
Step 1: Enter your information and click Connect:
(Replace abcxyz with your nick. Your nick should be short, easy to read and does not have space or special characters. Choose Rizon [webirc] server, you can join multiple channels too, example: #Ori.Vietnam,#fetrade)
In next steps, for convenience, we will use tab Rizon
Step 2: Type /ns register password email
Example: /ns register password abcxyz@gmail.com
NOTE: replace password with your own.
(Gmail is highly recommended)
Step 3: Receive mail from Rizon and enter passcode
Mail from Rizon:
Copy the part in red frame, paste to tab Rizon. You'll be noticed to be registered:
Congratulations, you have successfully registered IRC nick. It's very very simple, right?
For the next login, after clicking Connect, on tab Rizon type/ns id password and you will be recognized.
B - Solving problems during registration and after registration:
1. Change registration email:
After completing step 2 above, if you want to change email type/ns cancel password and repeat step 2 with a new email and then continue.
2. Forgot your password:
If you forgot your password, type /ns resetpass nick. You will receive the following email
Copy the part in red frame, paste to tab Rizon. You will see "Password changed to ---------" with a temporary password --------- including 9 random characters. Type/ns id ---------for authentication, then type /ns set password new password. For the next login, use your new password as normal with syntax directed above.
C - Some basic commands:
/j # channel: join a channel.
/me action: describe an action.
Example: /me đang viết báo ~~~ will give result
/nick new.nick: switch to a new nick (new nick is only temporary in current secsion, do not use it in next time login).
.ignore ramdom.nick: ignore a person, you will not receive messages from them anymore (use in channel individually).
/quit: escape.
D - Some channels to join:
#Primera.Vietnam/#Suna.Vietnam/#Ori.Vietnam: Vietnam's official channel at server Primera/Suna/Oriental, language(s): Vietnamese and English.
#strade/#sutrade/#fetrade: server Primera/Suna/Oriental trade channel, language(s): English.
#barkeep: entertainment channel, language(s): English and sometimes Vietnamese, mostly foreigners.

About the game:
USA as a world power? In E-Sim it is possible!
In E-Sim we have a huge, living world, which is a mirror copy of the Earth. Well, maybe not completely mirrored, because the balance of power in this virtual world looks a bit different than in real life. In E-Sim, USA does not have to be a world superpower, It can be efficiently managed as a much smaller country that has entrepreneurial citizens that support it's foundation. Everything depends on the players themselves and how they decide to shape the political map of the game.
Work for the good of your country and see it rise to an empire.
Activities in this game are divided into several modules. First is the economy as a citizen in a country of your choice you must work to earn money, which you will get to spend for example, on food or purchase of weapons which are critical for your progress as a fighter. You will work in either private companies which are owned by players or government companies which are owned by the state. After progressing in the game you will finally get the opportunity to set up your own business and hire other players. If it prospers, we can even change it into a joint-stock company and enter the stock market and get even more money in this way.
In E-Sim, international wars are nothing out of the ordinary.
Become an influential politician.
The second module is a politics. Just like in real life politics in E-Sim are an extremely powerful tool that can be used for your own purposes. From time to time there are elections in the game in which you will not only vote, but also have the ability to run for the head of the party you're in. You can also apply for congress, where once elected you will be given the right to vote on laws proposed by your fellow congress members or your president and propose laws yourself. Voting on laws is important for your country as it can shape the lives of those around you. You can also try to become the head of a given party, and even take part in presidential elections and decide on the shape of the foreign policy of a given state (for example, who to declare war on). Career in politics is obviously not easy and in order to succeed in it, you have to have a good plan and compete for the votes of voters.
You can go bankrupt or become a rich man while playing the stock market.
The international war.
The last and probably the most important module is military. In E-Sim, countries are constantly fighting each other for control over territories which in return grant them access to more valuable raw materials. For this purpose, they form alliances, they fight international wars, but they also have to deal with, for example, uprisings in conquered countries or civil wars, which may explode on their territory. You can also take part in these clashes, although you are also given the opportunity to lead a life as a pacifist who focuses on other activities in the game (for example, running a successful newspaper or selling products).
At the auction you can sell or buy your dream inventory.
E-Sim is a unique browser game. It's creators ensured realistic representation of the mechanisms present in the real world and gave all power to the players who shape the image of the virtual Earth according to their own. So come and join them and help your country achieve its full potential.
