那么，既然城堡住起来这么不舒服，那么就索性不住城堡，在附近的交通发达、风光秀丽之地，用木头搭个度假小屋怎么样？反正是贵族领主，这点钱总是拿得出的，实在不行还可以征召领民免费服劳役嘛！
嗯，这个做法在贵族私斗已经非常稀少，相对比较和平的中世纪末期，应该是可行的，正如上文所述，当时的很多领主已经搬出了城堡，只有在战火临近的时候，才会重新回到坚固的城堡里居住。
但如果你的眼光太超前，在中世纪的前期和中期就这样搞的话……你根本就是在自寻死路！
——当时的欧洲混乱无比，没有什么大一统的民族国家。无论是英国、法国、德国还是意大利，全都是诸侯林立。各国君王的权威基本只限于首都和王家领地，对手下贵族们的私斗根本无能为力。
如果某一家贵族的城堡和领地被邻居夺去，那么他最好别指望只要到宫里打打御前官司就能把领地要回来……除非你跟国王的交情够硬，可以让他为你发兵开战，否则能在宫廷里给你个职位赏口饭吃就很不错了。所以，在那个时代，每一位领主都必须牢牢守护住自己的城堡，不敢长期离开。
偏偏每一位领主又都在处心积虑地扩张地盘，找借口对外扩张侵略，经常只是因为一点边界争执、一次人身攻击、一句无心之言、一次求婚失败，有时甚至只是一个姿态、一个表情、一个手势，都能引爆一场中世纪的战争。
——中世纪的骑士们都是很暴力也很蛮横的，千万别把他们想象成彬彬有礼的绅士。在中世纪的诗歌和文献之中，记录了很多他们的无耻行当。例如某位贵族骑士向一位富有寡妇求婚被拒，便带兵围攻这位寡妇拥有的城堡，直到对方打开城门屈膝下嫁为止……
除了不怀好意的隔壁领主们之外，中世纪欧洲的森林里，还有很多穷凶极恶的流贼团伙，好像蝗群一样到处流窜，时不时就会有某处庄园被攻破和洗劫——英国的罗宾汉也是其中一个代表。你看看，罗宾汉和他的部下们连小城堡都能攻破，你那座精致的度假小屋，在这样的突击队面前，又能扛得住多久？
至于预先警戒这些敌人的行动，抢在他们抵达之前搬回城堡里……中世纪的欧洲地广人稀，到处都有小股部队能够通行的荒野，你手下有多少斥候，能封锁住整个领地？
而且，中世纪领主的地盘普遍不大，缺乏战略回旋空间，从一座城堡骑马奔袭另一座城堡，经常用不了半天——这么短的一点预警时间，根本来不及疏散转移。
再说，就算在陆地上能够严密布防，海上还有神出鬼没的维京海盗呢！
因此，在那个治安混乱，匪徒横行，朝不保夕的可怕年代，你放着坚固可靠的城堡不去住，反而为了追求什么生活情趣，搬到风光秀丽却不适合防御的别墅里……恐怕没几天就会有大票的刺客和匪徒上门，或是绑架你和你的妻子儿女勒索赎金，或是受了附近其他领主的佣金，直接要了你的命！
所以，为了你的生命安全着想，还是老老实实地继续住城堡吧！

In E-Sim we have a huge, living world, which is a mirror copy of the Earth. Well, maybe not completely mirrored, because the balance of power in this virtual world looks a bit different than in real life. In E-Sim, USA does not have to be a world superpower, It can be efficiently managed as a much smaller country that has entrepreneurial citizens that support it's foundation. Everything depends on the players themselves and how they decide to shape the political map of the game.
Work for the good of your country and see it rise to an empire.
Activities in this game are divided into several modules. First is the economy as a citizen in a country of your choice you must work to earn money, which you will get to spend for example, on food or purchase of weapons which are critical for your progress as a fighter. You will work in either private companies which are owned by players or government companies which are owned by the state. After progressing in the game you will finally get the opportunity to set up your own business and hire other players. If it prospers, we can even change it into a joint-stock company and enter the stock market and get even more money in this way.
In E-Sim, international wars are nothing out of the ordinary.
Become an influential politician.
The second module is a politics. Just like in real life politics in E-Sim are an extremely powerful tool that can be used for your own purposes. From time to time there are elections in the game in which you will not only vote, but also have the ability to run for the head of the party you're in. You can also apply for congress, where once elected you will be given the right to vote on laws proposed by your fellow congress members or your president and propose laws yourself. Voting on laws is important for your country as it can shape the lives of those around you. You can also try to become the head of a given party, and even take part in presidential elections and decide on the shape of the foreign policy of a given state (for example, who to declare war on). Career in politics is obviously not easy and in order to succeed in it, you have to have a good plan and compete for the votes of voters.
You can go bankrupt or become a rich man while playing the stock market.
The international war.
The last and probably the most important module is military. In E-Sim, countries are constantly fighting each other for control over territories which in return grant them access to more valuable raw materials. For this purpose, they form alliances, they fight international wars, but they also have to deal with, for example, uprisings in conquered countries or civil wars, which may explode on their territory. You can also take part in these clashes, although you are also given the opportunity to lead a life as a pacifist who focuses on other activities in the game (for example, running a successful newspaper or selling products).
At the auction you can sell or buy your dream inventory.
