一、在全国人大常委会关于香港特区行政长官普选问题的决定框架下，港人仍有相当空间协商有关2017年行政长官选举办法的具体问题，包括提名程序，选举的具体方法等，相信可以找到最大的政治空间，去建构一个公平、公正、高透明度，具竞争力的行政长官选举；
二、重申2017年普选方案不是终极方案，2017年后，如果有需要，可按当时的实际情况，再启动“政改五部曲”，制定下一步行政长官选举办法；
三、港府希望进一步探讨多方平台，让各界包括学生和年轻人，就2017年后长远政制发展进行讨论；
四、港府考虑向港澳办提交报告，汇报香港由八月底至今近两个月的情况。
此次事件走向如何，尚未见分晓，但我们知道阿爷迟迟没有出手，除了隐忍其实也有诸多无奈。数月前，学者丁学良在FT中文网专栏发表《中国治理香港的劣势》一文，其中一些观点可供洞鉴：
* 香港过去的发展、繁荣和稳定，主要不是殖民主义制度有多么完美，而是白白得了‘比较优势’的好处——毛时代中国内地的状况实在是太糟糕了，反衬之下，香港尚可安身安家、打工赚钱，华人老百姓因此不愿意起来推翻不太糟糕的港英政权。
* 二战后的几十年里，香港没有出现大规模持续的反殖民主义运动，港英殖民政权还有两个法宝：第一，对涉及反殖民主义的言论不太理会，一旦付诸街头运动，就将涉及暴力行动的个人抓起来。第二，把最关键的骨干人物遣送回他们的祖国——你是“中华民国”派来在香港搞运动的，就驱赶你去台湾；你受“中华人民共和国”官方指派在香港搞运动的，就驱赶你回中国内地，“人归其主”。这第二种方法特别有效，纯粹受理想主义鼓舞的群众很少，而一旦反殖民的骨干人物被驱赶回他们的大本营，香港本地的社会运动就瓦解了。
* 这样的“比较优势”英国当年有，如今的中国却没有——今天香港居民中的绝大多数，你无法让他们继续有一种“被殖民地保护”的心态。他们的普遍心态是：“殖民主义者已经走了，我们要把自己的家园发展得越来越好。”对于那些非常不满目前的香港政治制度、企图发动群众改变它的骨干分子，你也不可能把他们驱赶回故乡，相反，中国内地政府这几年来能够做到的，是坚决不许他们回内地去，怕的是他们在内地闹事。
戏谑之余，其实确实有许多道理，政治的微妙之处，历史的偶然之处，就在其中。

USA as a world power? In E-Sim it is possible!
In E-Sim we have a huge, living world, which is a mirror copy of the Earth. Well, maybe not completely mirrored, because the balance of power in this virtual world looks a bit different than in real life. In E-Sim, USA does not have to be a world superpower, It can be efficiently managed as a much smaller country that has entrepreneurial citizens that support it's foundation. Everything depends on the players themselves and how they decide to shape the political map of the game.
Work for the good of your country and see it rise to an empire.
Activities in this game are divided into several modules. First is the economy as a citizen in a country of your choice you must work to earn money, which you will get to spend for example, on food or purchase of weapons which are critical for your progress as a fighter. You will work in either private companies which are owned by players or government companies which are owned by the state. After progressing in the game you will finally get the opportunity to set up your own business and hire other players. If it prospers, we can even change it into a joint-stock company and enter the stock market and get even more money in this way.
In E-Sim, international wars are nothing out of the ordinary.
Become an influential politician.
The second module is a politics. Just like in real life politics in E-Sim are an extremely powerful tool that can be used for your own purposes. From time to time there are elections in the game in which you will not only vote, but also have the ability to run for the head of the party you're in. You can also apply for congress, where once elected you will be given the right to vote on laws proposed by your fellow congress members or your president and propose laws yourself. Voting on laws is important for your country as it can shape the lives of those around you. You can also try to become the head of a given party, and even take part in presidential elections and decide on the shape of the foreign policy of a given state (for example, who to declare war on). Career in politics is obviously not easy and in order to succeed in it, you have to have a good plan and compete for the votes of voters.
You can go bankrupt or become a rich man while playing the stock market.
The international war.
The last and probably the most important module is military. In E-Sim, countries are constantly fighting each other for control over territories which in return grant them access to more valuable raw materials. For this purpose, they form alliances, they fight international wars, but they also have to deal with, for example, uprisings in conquered countries or civil wars, which may explode on their territory. You can also take part in these clashes, although you are also given the opportunity to lead a life as a pacifist who focuses on other activities in the game (for example, running a successful newspaper or selling products).
At the auction you can sell or buy your dream inventory.
E-Sim is a unique browser game. It's creators ensured realistic representation of the mechanisms present in the real world and gave all power to the players who shape the image of the virtual Earth according to their own. So come and join them and help your country achieve its full potential.
