Well guys, today I got the honour to interview our number 1 redactor - Orlandio .

Hi Orlandio , during the week since the reset was officially announced you published 5 articles about the reset, you called for the stopping of the reset, a better communication with the team and a vote for the reset. You've recently become less active, what about the reset got you so raged that you published so many articles in such a short time span?

You're correct on that and a lot of people might not believe it after getting so many articles from me but i'm actually VERY inactive at this moment. If it wasn't for the reset i wouldn't be making any articles. However, since the reset was announced i've been making it my point to write articles about it as often as i can. I think people need hope at this moment - so even if we don't succeed, at least we know we never gave up. This is the very point of those articles - to keep the topic active and in global. Some people might (and do) consider it spamming but for me it's actually resistance - resistance that includes every person that vote these articles. I'm glad to see that a lot of people HAVE participated in the resistance so far.

And if this resistance fails? What then?

The sim-life will go on. I personally shall not quit the game - i declared this in one of my articles and i stick to it. I think the saddest thing about the reset is that SO many good people, very good friends that i've had since the early days of playing e-sim, are now leaving. The situation is quite awful - some of my old friends were leaving anyways but now it's almost like everyone but me is quitting the game. I find it extremely sad - i still think e-sim is worthy to be played and even though i'm only 2-clicking these days, i still find time to do it. And i wouldn't wanna quit it.

Did this whole reset saga change your perception of the game and of the team, especially Railman?

The ironical thing is that while i'm the most eager to fight against the reset, it won't affect me badly at all. I've never really "built up" any of my skills, so taking them down is not something to shake me with. What i'm fighting for is not my personal interest, it's for the people like jakegate7 (who - as it seems - left the game in perfect time) who have played for skills and invested in skills and will now lose everything they've played for for years. I've always had suspicions about Railman - i think we can never REALLY know what he's up to. The fact is that it's his game and he can do absolutely anything he wants in it, any time. However, i think this event should send a direct message to the masses playing this game - there's no point in investing too much time in organizing battles and alliances, because sooner or later it will all be taken away from you. One thing they won't take away is gold and products, simply because in the eyes of goldbuyers it would equal theft and i'm pretty sure there are internet laws making that illegal in many rl countries.

As I said a few times, you are the voice of the people, do you think that if it would have affected you you would have made a bigger deal out of it? Do you think your articles actually had any impact on Railman or just on the players?

For the first question - No. Believe me or not but i'm fighting all i possibly can atm for this thing. For me it's not fighting for my personal gain, it's fighting for what the majority wants. As i said, this is Railman's game and he doesn't HAVE to listen to the people or the majority. But listening to people is something i fiercely believe in both in rl and in game. So if Railman doesn't care, which is not his obligation, so be it - i've done my part.

I do think however that all the people that Admin listed in his last article and many other people that have built up these people's efforts (for example the people that have voted my articles) did in fact make a difference - we wouldn't have this new article from Admin otherwise.

Yet even when he made the article he didn't want to communicate. In the beginning he made the comments unavailable, I immediately wrote a response which he ignored, except for allowing comments, he reads it all but does he actually care or is he doing it for publicity?

I've said a thousand times to people that say "Admin doesn't hear you" - you're dead wrong! Admin ALWAYS hears us, it's the question of whether he decides to listen.
What i mean is again the fact that Railman is the boss and can literally do anything he chooses. I sincerely hope that he will change his mind about the reset but i doubt it. Then again, in the past i've been wrong about my doubts. Basically what i've learned in my 2 years is this - you can never predict with 100% certainty what Admin is gonna do next. Never.

Is the reset in your opinion the worst thing that happened to Primera?

Well it hasn't happened yet but i predict that will be the 2nd worst. Buy gold was the worst because after that many people lost their faith in Railman which they never got back. By now the faith is long gone so reset is not that much of a surprise to anyone. It's just sad, frankly.

Why do you think he is doing the reset? There have been many theories, including a few of mine, what is your opinion?

I think i wrote an article about it. The theory that seems most "believable" to me is that he's simply doing it out of hope that things will change to better after reset. The problem is that many times he's done things "out of hope" before they've had very long-lasting negative side effects and haven't quite worked out as well as was planned. Ipsiart said in my interview with him that Railman is a cool guy but his worts trait is that his mind is almost impossible to change. So he probably just got the idea to reset every server and now it's too late to get rid of that idea. That's my theory and as with any theory in the world, it might be not accurate at all.

What do you think should be done in order to improve the equality of e-sim players?

Equality is a word that is way too excessively used imo. Fact is that you will not find equality anywhere in the world or anywhere in the internet. It's a utopia and when you go searching for a utopia you will only mess things up. History of both rl and browser games like eRep has showed us that many times. It's inevitable that the game had to be created at some point and at some specific date. If a player stumbles on the game 3 years later, it's also inevitable. It might be unfair but so is life and so is virtual life.

Thank you, is there anything else you want to tell the readers?

I think all was said. Remember: it's important to keep fighting EVERY day until the reset actually happens. No giving up. If we give up now and forget about the topic then Admin can always say that no one cared about it. 2 and half weeks we have til reset is a long way and we've gotta make sure that the topic is in global 24/7 during that time.

Time for a hard question, it's a custom,
Would you rather fall deeply in love with a porcupine, and every time you kiss it it will stab you
or,
Start your life from zero? no house, no money, no achievements (You keep your knowledge) in the middle of a Pavela in Sau Paolo?

I think i'd actually choose the first option. Because love is such an amazing thing that if i really truly fell in love with a porcupine i wouldn't probably even care if it stabbed me.

You win I'm too cynical to find a sincere answer to that...

Thank you Arhangelus, one of the great e-sim journalists, and thanks to anyone who's reading this.

Thank you for this interview, I think it was a really great opportunity for all of us, Admin and players, to see the opinion of the voice of the people. Thank you

About the game:

USA as a world power? In E-Sim it is possible!

In E-Sim we have a huge, living world, which is a mirror copy of the Earth. Well, maybe not completely mirrored, because the balance of power in this virtual world looks a bit different than in real life. In E-Sim, USA does not have to be a world superpower, It can be efficiently managed as a much smaller country that has entrepreneurial citizens that support it's foundation. Everything depends on the players themselves and how they decide to shape the political map of the game.

Work for the good of your country and see it rise to an empire.

Activities in this game are divided into several modules. First is the economy as a citizen in a country of your choice you must work to earn money, which you will get to spend for example, on food or purchase of weapons which are critical for your progress as a fighter. You will work in either private companies which are owned by players or government companies which are owned by the state. After progressing in the game you will finally get the opportunity to set up your own business and hire other players. If it prospers, we can even change it into a joint-stock company and enter the stock market and get even more money in this way.

In E-Sim, international wars are nothing out of the ordinary.

"E-Sim is one of the most unique browser games out there"

Become an influential politician.

The second module is a politics. Just like in real life politics in E-Sim are an extremely powerful tool that can be used for your own purposes. From time to time there are elections in the game in which you will not only vote, but also have the ability to run for the head of the party you're in. You can also apply for congress, where once elected you will be given the right to vote on laws proposed by your fellow congress members or your president and propose laws yourself. Voting on laws is important for your country as it can shape the lives of those around you. You can also try to become the head of a given party, and even take part in presidential elections and decide on the shape of the foreign policy of a given state (for example, who to declare war on). Career in politics is obviously not easy and in order to succeed in it, you have to have a good plan and compete for the votes of voters.

You can go bankrupt or become a rich man while playing the stock market.

The international war.

The last and probably the most important module is military. In E-Sim, countries are constantly fighting each other for control over territories which in return grant them access to more valuable raw materials. For this purpose, they form alliances, they fight international wars, but they also have to deal with, for example, uprisings in conquered countries or civil wars, which may explode on their territory. You can also take part in these clashes, although you are also given the opportunity to lead a life as a pacifist who focuses on other activities in the game (for example, running a successful newspaper or selling products).

At the auction you can sell or buy your dream inventory.

E-Sim is a unique browser game. It's creators ensured realistic representation of the mechanisms present in the real world and gave all power to the players who shape the image of the virtual Earth according to their own. So come and join them and help your country achieve its full potential.
