關稅，亦即進口稅。關稅是外國商品進入本國市場銷售時，需要支付的稅金，作用是為了保護本土生產者可以在市場上與之競價。
例如Q3面包成本是1台元，外國某些稻米盛產地生產出來，成本是0.9台元，所以本國生產者必然會輸，但增設關稅為12%的話，就是1.008台元。
這樣，本國生產者的利益，便得到保障。
現實之中，世界貿易組織成員國之間需要取消關稅。因此，早年世界貿易組織開會，韓國農民跑去香港示威，就是因為美國補助美國農產品，韓國又不能對之加設關稅，導致韓國農產品滯銷，生活無以為繼所致。
台灣何去何從？
正如上述例子可見，有兩種辦法促進本土工業。第一種是透過高額關稅，使外商成本增加，競爭力下降。另一種是政府補助本土工業，減少成本，提升競爭力。
而筆者主張是第一種高額關稅，因為關稅可以為政府帶來收入，亦可以使本土工業競爭力上升，亦符合總統扶植軍團工業主張。另一種政府補助本土工業，需要政府龐大資金，進行投資，擴充工業，從而使增值稅及所得稅收入增加，但這會增加政府負擔，甚至財赤，加上現在政府又有戰時補助計劃，可說雪上加霜。
當前關稅已達20%，為何仍要調高？
提高關稅目的一方面是保障本土產業，另一方面是增加國庫稅收。其實，我黨政綱之製訂，早於8月11日便開始。
從圖片中，我們發現到伊朗商人及意大利商人入市，競逐Q1武器市場，而當時我軍團的工廠，只能劈價驅遂外國商人，冒受損失。8月14日晚上，政府宣佈入市，把Q1武器價格壓至0.5台元，外國商人只能退卻(這亦與本黨第3政見有關)。直至這一刻，本土市場已無外國商人，但本黨仍然提出此政見，實考慮有急切性增加國庫稅收，當今台灣對瑞典戰事，可說有心無力。就筆者觀察，台灣尚未用盡全力，特別是首都再度淪陷之後。所謂「重賞之下，必有勇夫」，方可促使各人出盡全力(這亦與本黨第2政見有關)。而為了支撐龐大的獎賞支出，便需要調高關稅，增加收入，而活躍於Q3與Q5武器市場的外國商人，便是是次目標了。
無獨有偶， 3日前已經有議員提交一份調高關稅25%的議案，可惜遭到國會否決。倘若各位國民認為有必要調高關稅，請在選舉日當天，投下您們手中的一票，

USA as a world power? In E-Sim it is possible!
In E-Sim we have a huge, living world, which is a mirror copy of the Earth. Well, maybe not completely mirrored, because the balance of power in this virtual world looks a bit different than in real life. In E-Sim, USA does not have to be a world superpower, It can be efficiently managed as a much smaller country that has entrepreneurial citizens that support it's foundation. Everything depends on the players themselves and how they decide to shape the political map of the game.
Work for the good of your country and see it rise to an empire.
Activities in this game are divided into several modules. First is the economy as a citizen in a country of your choice you must work to earn money, which you will get to spend for example, on food or purchase of weapons which are critical for your progress as a fighter. You will work in either private companies which are owned by players or government companies which are owned by the state. After progressing in the game you will finally get the opportunity to set up your own business and hire other players. If it prospers, we can even change it into a joint-stock company and enter the stock market and get even more money in this way.
In E-Sim, international wars are nothing out of the ordinary.
Become an influential politician.
The second module is a politics. Just like in real life politics in E-Sim are an extremely powerful tool that can be used for your own purposes. From time to time there are elections in the game in which you will not only vote, but also have the ability to run for the head of the party you're in. You can also apply for congress, where once elected you will be given the right to vote on laws proposed by your fellow congress members or your president and propose laws yourself. Voting on laws is important for your country as it can shape the lives of those around you. You can also try to become the head of a given party, and even take part in presidential elections and decide on the shape of the foreign policy of a given state (for example, who to declare war on). Career in politics is obviously not easy and in order to succeed in it, you have to have a good plan and compete for the votes of voters.
You can go bankrupt or become a rich man while playing the stock market.
The international war.
The last and probably the most important module is military. In E-Sim, countries are constantly fighting each other for control over territories which in return grant them access to more valuable raw materials. For this purpose, they form alliances, they fight international wars, but they also have to deal with, for example, uprisings in conquered countries or civil wars, which may explode on their territory. You can also take part in these clashes, although you are also given the opportunity to lead a life as a pacifist who focuses on other activities in the game (for example, running a successful newspaper or selling products).
At the auction you can sell or buy your dream inventory.
E-Sim is a unique browser game. It's creators ensured realistic representation of the mechanisms present in the real world and gave all power to the players who shape the image of the virtual Earth according to their own. So come and join them and help your country achieve its full potential.
