His name is not as hot as Ipsiart or essex. Nevertheless, for some time during the crazy leaving and joining staff he joined and eventually left the staff. He told me he wanted to make a change and had things to share with the public. Now that i've known him for several weeks i'm actually pretty sad i never had any contact with him while he was a GO. I think he would've become the "essex" of the new staff (in a good way of course). People would've loved him because he really does want to make a change. You don't see that too often, it's a sign of a truly great staff member. I urge you to read this interview, especially since it may go down the same road as interviews with essex and MatthijsM .
This interview is also my 50th, deleted interviews excluded (which also makes my interview with essex 50th but since it was deleted...). Let's hope this interview remains the 50th.
P.S. I couldn't fit the whole text into part I and that's why i decided to split it before the 7th question. The interview itself is a regular 10-question-one.

Read while you can and enjoy!

1. Pursche01 , great welcome to this interview!
1. Thank you, pleasure being here.

2. You were actually amidst all the crazyness that has been going on in the staff for the past months. How long were you in staff? Since when and up to when?
2. Yeah I was, I became a GO July 1st, I believe I managed to hold onto that position for around three weeks before giving up and resigning. It sure was a crazy time.

3. What happened that you left so soon? What happened during those 3 weeks? Who did you replace in the staff and who replaced you? I want gossip.
3. Oh boy where should I begin? I should start by saying that the staff team is fractured, on one side we have the GO team which I would like to call e-Sim's PR division, they are there to take care of problems and make sure our players are playing by the rules etc. On the other side we have the Administration team which consists of Railman, kMeel and the devs. One of the main differences I found between my vision of being a GO and actually being a GO was that those teams have almost no contact except between GOA's and kMeel . We GOs was informed of updates only after we've had loads of players asking us about the updates. The information flow was flawed to say the least.
My reason for leaving is divided, first of all we had some policy changes and then I had an incident. As the readers might know you're not allowed to be both a GO and President or have a large role in an alliance at the same time. What IS (was?) allowed however was to be an ACTIVE congressman. When I became GO I asked several times if it was alright for me to be an active congressman and I got repeated responses that it was fine. Here comes the incident. I am a Swedish player with Norwegian citizenship, I picked this up because Norway's freedom was threatened by PTOers in the form of a certain MU I believe I shall keep anonymous out of respect for the recent progressions we've had with negotiating with them. I've had my arguments with that MU's leader both before and after becoming GO but never once did I use any GO abilities to give him an unfair punishment that our GO guidelines didn't agree with.
The incident was petty to say the least. The MU's owner insulted me in a shout, I reported it like the guidelines say and another GO made the decision to give the MU leader a 7 days mute for insulting a staff member. After this another player shouted that the MU leader had talked about filing a report against E-sim for some made up reasons. I felt that it would be a good idea to inform kMeel about this because he's the Community Manager and it was my impression that he should be aware of what is going on with the community. I informed kMeel and he asked for the backstory. I told him that me and that MU leader has had our arguments before. kMeel told me he would speak to Anqa about it and that was that. An hour later the MU leader was unmuted and I got yelled at for involving myself in political shouts, which three weeks earlier was just fine to do. Needless to say I felt disappointed, undermined and unwanted so I decided to part my ways with the GO team. If I was not allowed to be a part of the politics which is a major part of e-Sim I would rather quit or not play at all. They can't seriously think I would put down time to moderate this game if I get treated like that.
A quick addition is that the MU leader could have appealed the mute at any time by going to an SGO or GOA, but he did not because he knew the ruling was fair. Yet kMeel decided to step in and undermine the decision that was taken by another GO.
I honestly have no idea if I replaced someone in staff or not, it seemed like the staff team had gotten quite a few extra GO's right before I joined. I'm also not sure who replaced me.

4. What qualities were you initially searching in staff when joining it? Was the reality different?
4. I had this childish vision of a well structured team where the administration team actually had our backs. I really believed I would be able to make a difference about the future of the game but it turned out that so was not the case at all. Instead I got a whole heap of tickets, bad communication and worst of all, players we had foolproof evidence against but could not ban without talking to a GOA for various reasons.

5. My interviews with essex and MatthijsM on this same matter got deleted. Essex got banned shortly after. Obviously someone somewhere don't want ex staff members talking. So why are you doing it?
5. Honestly? I'm doing it because I would like to give influencing this game one more try. If I somehow can influence the Administration team to start seriously doing something about the current state of the game with unfullfilled and avoided promises, bad communication and no REAL development (sorry, but a biography window under your picture and a new website design these last 7 months is NOT enough work done for a Dev team which gets PAID to work on E-sim) I would, and I believe this is my best chance. If I can't reach out to the administration team I might be able to reach out to the players and get them to start demanding more. I do believe that it is very sad that the administration of this game feels that their customer satisfaction is so threatened that they feel the need to censor and even ban ex-coworkers. If I get banned for doing this interview then so be it, but they can't ban everyone who speaks up against them and sooner or later they are going to have to change or see their customers move over to another game. I once saw a movie that had the quote "Why be king if you have noone to rule over" or something like that. I believe a more fitting quote for the way this game is heading would be "Why run a game if you have no players".

6. Where do you see this game in a year? Do you think Railman will change his ways and put his foot down on certain things to create communication between the game staff and administration? Where will this game be if he does and where will it be if he doesn't?
6. Hard question, hopefully I see the Admin team having a very different approach at running things in a year. I do not have any high hopes that Railman will change though, to be honest I don't even know how actively he follows what is happening in the game anymore. If Railman is able to set his foot down and rehaul the administration of this game (and please keep in mind that I differentiate between Administration and Staff, the former being Devs, Railman and kMeel while the later is the GO's, SGO's and GOA's, I have nothing to complain about how the Staff is being run) I can actually see a bright future for this game unless it is already too late. If he does not change things my guess is that we could see Primera being shut down within a year in favour of Secura and Suna. Secura and Suna are simply more profitable.

About the game:

USA as a world power? In E-Sim it is possible!

In E-Sim we have a huge, living world, which is a mirror copy of the Earth. Well, maybe not completely mirrored, because the balance of power in this virtual world looks a bit different than in real life. In E-Sim, USA does not have to be a world superpower, It can be efficiently managed as a much smaller country that has entrepreneurial citizens that support it's foundation. Everything depends on the players themselves and how they decide to shape the political map of the game.

Work for the good of your country and see it rise to an empire.

Activities in this game are divided into several modules. First is the economy as a citizen in a country of your choice you must work to earn money, which you will get to spend for example, on food or purchase of weapons which are critical for your progress as a fighter. You will work in either private companies which are owned by players or government companies which are owned by the state. After progressing in the game you will finally get the opportunity to set up your own business and hire other players. If it prospers, we can even change it into a joint-stock company and enter the stock market and get even more money in this way.

In E-Sim, international wars are nothing out of the ordinary.

"E-Sim is one of the most unique browser games out there"

Become an influential politician.

The second module is a politics. Just like in real life politics in E-Sim are an extremely powerful tool that can be used for your own purposes. From time to time there are elections in the game in which you will not only vote, but also have the ability to run for the head of the party you're in. You can also apply for congress, where once elected you will be given the right to vote on laws proposed by your fellow congress members or your president and propose laws yourself. Voting on laws is important for your country as it can shape the lives of those around you. You can also try to become the head of a given party, and even take part in presidential elections and decide on the shape of the foreign policy of a given state (for example, who to declare war on). Career in politics is obviously not easy and in order to succeed in it, you have to have a good plan and compete for the votes of voters.

You can go bankrupt or become a rich man while playing the stock market.

The international war.

The last and probably the most important module is military. In E-Sim, countries are constantly fighting each other for control over territories which in return grant them access to more valuable raw materials. For this purpose, they form alliances, they fight international wars, but they also have to deal with, for example, uprisings in conquered countries or civil wars, which may explode on their territory. You can also take part in these clashes, although you are also given the opportunity to lead a life as a pacifist who focuses on other activities in the game (for example, running a successful newspaper or selling products).

At the auction you can sell or buy your dream inventory.

E-Sim is a unique browser game. It's creators ensured realistic representation of the mechanisms present in the real world and gave all power to the players who shape the image of the virtual Earth according to their own. So come and join them and help your country achieve its full potential.
