Edit: Wow... y'all just read the title and nothing that comes next, didn't you?

----

Unfortunately i must let you down with that particular title. I'm sure you'd all like to see me leave but i WON'T. Just out of spite i won't.
Ofc I'm kidding as usual. I know perfectly well that i'm as awesome as one can be and that everyone would be lost if i left. As a matter of fact i'm pretty sure this game would be in wrecks in a week without me. Obviously I can't do this to you.
What do you have to say about these statements? Is that enough EGO for you?

Please forgive me, I'm just a crazy old lunatic. But fortunately i wish no harm on anyone and i'm barely here to entertain you. So if one or two people find me bearable then my work here is (somewhat) a success. And that's kinda... good. Don't You think?
In all honesty though, i actually AM leaving for a while. Not for long but a few days, maximum a week. If anyone's looking for me at IRC or Skype then i probably won't be answering you for several weeks - just send me a PM.

In any ways, listen up people: there's something i haven't done for a while and that's what this article is all about. Here's a list of what i have or haven't done:

So, in order to fix that horrible mistake i made a list of things i haven't yet had time to thank you for:

5. Oh and Roger - thanks for walking my dog the other day.

..Going back to the 4th though - whoever nominated me and voted for me on this poll shvo made: i want to personally thank you. I was actually really surprised because i literally had these two scenarios on my mind:
1. There'll be some really great journalists like shvo and plopilou on that list of nominees and that will be all.
2. There will be 50 different people in that nominees list and by some lucky chance i've been added in the crowd. Naturally I'm exaggerating a little bit but you get the point.

So i was really surprised when filling the poll i finally reached "top journalist" nominees - and saw that there was only THREE guys and I was ONE of them.:O Guess whom i chose?
But enough of that - i said thank you, i stick to what i said and let's move on.

Most journalists - however popular they are - don't really make these kinds of articles very often, mostly never, even if they do achieve something magnificent. I write one as soon as i think i've achieved something - however trivial - with this newspaper i have. I do understand that it can be annoying for most to read (probably gonna get a few unsubs on this but oh well... good riddance). However, i think i DO need to explain this a little bit.
You see, i'm kind of a team-person. I need to be in a team where people work together. And my team cannot be authoritarian - i want a team where everyone is an equal and has an equal part on making the whole thing work. I just can't work properly if there's a "dictator" on the team, even if it's myself. Ruins the fun for everyone (unless the dictator really enjoys dictating himself/herself).
I brought up teams because i see this newspaper as my team. You see, WHATEVER good happens to me here newspaper-wise - it's all thanks to the people that voted, left their comments, messaged me about something. Everyone that does at least one of those things has an equal part with everyone else (i'm not saying "send me a message" - i'm saying "DON'T send me a message, i get too many messages already. Just vote." ). And that is also why i'm thanking you in so many articles - the way I see it, you're behind all those good things that happen.
I thank people annoyingly a lot - i know that for sure because i hear it from other people every day. It just feels too uncomfortable NOT to thank when you KNOW someone has obviously done you a favor.

These "thank-you"-articles are no masterpieces but in them i can usually just let everything "flow" out - what i think and feel atm. That makes these articles very personal to myself. I think that's worth mentioning.

Anyways, that's enough wasting your time for today. I have tons of article ideas which in time i will bring to you.

Cya and thank you again!

About the game:

USA as a world power? In E-Sim it is possible!

In E-Sim we have a huge, living world, which is a mirror copy of the Earth. Well, maybe not completely mirrored, because the balance of power in this virtual world looks a bit different than in real life. In E-Sim, USA does not have to be a world superpower, It can be efficiently managed as a much smaller country that has entrepreneurial citizens that support it's foundation. Everything depends on the players themselves and how they decide to shape the political map of the game.

Work for the good of your country and see it rise to an empire.

Activities in this game are divided into several modules. First is the economy as a citizen in a country of your choice you must work to earn money, which you will get to spend for example, on food or purchase of weapons which are critical for your progress as a fighter. You will work in either private companies which are owned by players or government companies which are owned by the state. After progressing in the game you will finally get the opportunity to set up your own business and hire other players. If it prospers, we can even change it into a joint-stock company and enter the stock market and get even more money in this way.

In E-Sim, international wars are nothing out of the ordinary.

Become an influential politician.

The second module is a politics. Just like in real life politics in E-Sim are an extremely powerful tool that can be used for your own purposes. From time to time there are elections in the game in which you will not only vote, but also have the ability to run for the head of the party you're in. You can also apply for congress, where once elected you will be given the right to vote on laws proposed by your fellow congress members or your president and propose laws yourself. Voting on laws is important for your country as it can shape the lives of those around you. You can also try to become the head of a given party, and even take part in presidential elections and decide on the shape of the foreign policy of a given state (for example, who to declare war on). Career in politics is obviously not easy and in order to succeed in it, you have to have a good plan and compete for the votes of voters.

You can go bankrupt or become a rich man while playing the stock market.

The international war.

The last and probably the most important module is military. In E-Sim, countries are constantly fighting each other for control over territories which in return grant them access to more valuable raw materials. For this purpose, they form alliances, they fight international wars, but they also have to deal with, for example, uprisings in conquered countries or civil wars, which may explode on their territory. You can also take part in these clashes, although you are also given the opportunity to lead a life as a pacifist who focuses on other activities in the game (for example, running a successful newspaper or selling products).

At the auction you can sell or buy your dream inventory.

E-Sim is a unique browser game. It's creators ensured realistic representation of the mechanisms present in the real world and gave all power to the players who shape the image of the virtual Earth according to their own. So come and join them and help your country achieve its full potential.
