So here you go, this is the second - and if i may say it myself: BETTER - part of my interviews with iPSiArt . Some of you complained that i was going "soft" on Ipsi in the first part. All i can say to that is - it was only intended that way. I did get enormous feedback from the 1st part though and so it's only fair to get more from this since this honestly is a bit more "controversial" imo. But as always - you'll be the judge, i can only guess.
It was hard work but we did it! Enjoy!

11. How successful have you been in the other two servers – Secura and Suna? What were your reactions after you found out they were going to be added?
11. I haven't given much attention to the rest of the servers because I mainly play in Primera. On the other hand, when I quit being GOA I started to be more active on secura, and I guess I will stay there also. I really didn't like the fact that administration decided to open other servers, that's I guess the main fact why I was rarely active there the whole time. In my opinion it was a bad decision. Especially suna, I didn't understand that at all.

12. What could've been the reason behind adding those servers in your opinion?
12. Well there's no secret that secura was added to introduce gold buying to the game. Primera was left as the server to be without ability to pay money for gold. However, at the moment there are no difference between those two servers, and it breaks our game community to two separate pieces (sorry, three, but I don't get the suna part anyways). Possibly it would be much better if gold buying was gradually introduced to primera only without making any other servers. Now it just doesn't make any sense, because the game doesn't have enough players for THREE servers.

13. Do you think some bugs/issues of the game may have been forsaken or that fixing them is taking too long?
13. I actually wonder about that myself. The most logical explanation I could think of was that they just get lost when they're old, and they need to be reposted and reposted again to gain enough attention to be fixed, probably when they require some more time than other bugs. It's just my thoughts, I don't really know what makes developers forget them.
I tried to understand it when I was GOA, but I never got a clear answer. Either I've been told that those bugs were "fixed" or that they will be fixed later.

14. By what you've witnessed, is there any truth to Polish players having somekind of an advantage over others? Or some other players having an advantage for that matter?
14. I don't speculate that kind of gossip. I personally think it's just what people want to believe. If it was true, it would be very foolish decision to do by the administration. Many times Lithuanians were said to have some kind of advantage when I was GOA, but that was just false gossip.
I can imagine that this sentence will make some people rage in comments, but it is true.

15. In your own opinion, what's the best idea Railman has ever thought of/agreed to (founding the game in the first place not included)?
15. There are several things. The first thing that popped right to my head are stock companies. The idea of having them was great. I still think they aren't complete, but the fact that they are here is very good. Another thing - equipments. They got some pretty bad comments at first, but that was without doubt the best update to the war module that this game ever had. Also, we all were bugging railman about the design updates and that it needs to be changed, made better. Eventually we got where we are now. It's better than it was when e-sim started, but I personally don't like it at all. However, I can mark this as a good idea that railman agreed to. And the languages. As a "babyboomer" I can say that this update was needed for the game. I'm glad that Railman eventually agreed and managed to get his staff do this.

16. You've probably had more conversations with Railman than most people. What's he like? What can you say about him?
16. He's very confident about his decisions. It's pretty much impossible to change his mind unless for some strange reason he changes it himself. I guess that's a good quality to have as a manager and owner of the game, but it has it's minuses, which are obvious. Also, he's a nice person. Usually it's a pleasure to have a conversation with him. I'm glad that I had the chance to talk with him.
Oh, and I can say that he rarely has time to chat. Or maybe he didn't like to chat with me. One of the two.

17. There's many games that originate from the same game that e-Sim. What makes e-sim unique for you? Have you tried any of the others?
17. I've tried pretty much all I could find. I guess e-sim is one of the oldest and most developed of the alternatives, that's probably what makes it stay.

18. Does being in the staff come with a sense of power? If so, are there any power nuts in the staff or have there ever been during your stay?
18. Yeah of course it does. But it also comes with huge responsibility. Especially for GOA. There were some staff members who tried to use their powers in wrong ways, but I tried to make it as low as I possibly could. Out of respect, I wouldn't want to share their names. Anyways, if I had to say statistically, that was a rare occasion. It wasn't easy for a power-hungry person to get into my staff, we did a lot of tests before letting a person actually see GO stuff or do any actions with it, and that worked out for the team.

19. Speaking of which, when someone steps down from the staff (like you did), Admin always does public tests/polls to find new candidates for the vacant position. If there's some person waiting for the next such opening or has already tried to get into staff and hasn't made it yet... what would you have to say to such a person for motivation? Or say to anyone to make him/her BECOME interested in candidating?
19. I just want to say that the Staff should contain of not more than 10 people with current number of active players, and there are A LOT of applications to get to the staff. If you want to - don't let your hopes down if you don't get elected at first, second or several tries. I wasn't elected for a year or so, and eventually I got into the team. If you are good at it - you will do. Patience is the key, and just show your motivation. Always be active when the Staff looks for new members. And I guess I could only advise people who are not sure about being in the staff not to go there. There are lots of people who want to, and the job is pretty hard. It's not a job for everyone, but if you believe it's for you - don't drop your motivation from first fall. The ones who fail this patience test aren't good to be GO's.

20. Thank you Ipsiart, this truly was an amazing interview and a whole lot of work to make it happen. The work is not done of course as you will be answering more questions from other people in the next part (good luck with that btw). I would still have a lot to ask from you but there's also other people in this game to interview so we'll have to wrap this up with 18 question. Thank you very much again, you're a great person!
20. Thank you Orlandio for interviewing me. It was a pleasure to talk with you and answer your questions. It's a rare occasion to be interviewed for me, so I'm really glad you did. You're a great interviewer and awesome as a person to talk to. I'm looking forward to those questions. so cya till then.

About the game:

USA as a world power? In E-Sim it is possible!

In E-Sim we have a huge, living world, which is a mirror copy of the Earth. Well, maybe not completely mirrored, because the balance of power in this virtual world looks a bit different than in real life. In E-Sim, USA does not have to be a world superpower, It can be efficiently managed as a much smaller country that has entrepreneurial citizens that support it's foundation. Everything depends on the players themselves and how they decide to shape the political map of the game.

Work for the good of your country and see it rise to an empire.

Activities in this game are divided into several modules. First is the economy as a citizen in a country of your choice you must work to earn money, which you will get to spend for example, on food or purchase of weapons which are critical for your progress as a fighter. You will work in either private companies which are owned by players or government companies which are owned by the state. After progressing in the game you will finally get the opportunity to set up your own business and hire other players. If it prospers, we can even change it into a joint-stock company and enter the stock market and get even more money in this way.

In E-Sim, international wars are nothing out of the ordinary.

Become an influential politician.

The second module is a politics. Just like in real life politics in E-Sim are an extremely powerful tool that can be used for your own purposes. From time to time there are elections in the game in which you will not only vote, but also have the ability to run for the head of the party you're in. You can also apply for congress, where once elected you will be given the right to vote on laws proposed by your fellow congress members or your president and propose laws yourself. Voting on laws is important for your country as it can shape the lives of those around you. You can also try to become the head of a given party, and even take part in presidential elections and decide on the shape of the foreign policy of a given state (for example, who to declare war on). Career in politics is obviously not easy and in order to succeed in it, you have to have a good plan and compete for the votes of voters.

You can go bankrupt or become a rich man while playing the stock market.

The international war.

The last and probably the most important module is military. In E-Sim, countries are constantly fighting each other for control over territories which in return grant them access to more valuable raw materials. For this purpose, they form alliances, they fight international wars, but they also have to deal with, for example, uprisings in conquered countries or civil wars, which may explode on their territory. You can also take part in these clashes, although you are also given the opportunity to lead a life as a pacifist who focuses on other activities in the game (for example, running a successful newspaper or selling products).

At the auction you can sell or buy your dream inventory.

E-Sim is a unique browser game. It's creators ensured realistic representation of the mechanisms present in the real world and gave all power to the players who shape the image of the virtual Earth according to their own. So come and join them and help your country achieve its full potential.
