In this article you will see an interview between myself and Orlandio , an amazing guy who has achieved lots as a journalist, a businessman a politician, even a fighter (not really)! In this interview I have tried to ask questions that he has never been asked before so we can learn more about this character who has interviewed many but has been interviewed only twice!
Warning: Some parts of the interview have a humoristic tone... don't take everything too seriously.

1. Hello Orlandio ! This is my first interview... you should be honoured !

I'm not.

2. Interesting... Well first of all a question I always wanted to ask, When did you first started writing articles and what drew you to this part of the game ?

Well, it's been sim-lifetimes now... but at the beginning i just wanted to be active politically and get to know what's going on in different countries... and share it with whoever else might be interested.

3. Now that you mentioned politics. I see you have been a Country President four times! Do you intend to go back and take positions in governments or alliances in the near future ?

No! Never! Being "responsible" for something is a pain in the ass. So i don't want to be president, CEO or Supreme Commander of anything. Maybe a Press Director, that i wouldn't mind, although i think i wouldn't be very comfortable with the restrictions on publishing other articles (as i almost every day do).

4. That should not be a problem, I am a Press Director and I can still publish other articles... but yet I doubt you could ever compete with me Anyways, tell me how do you enjoy being a very successful businessman ? Although you are merely known for your success in this sector you have achieved alot there as well!

One of the things i joined this game for was that it has a stock market - i LOVE stocks. So pretty much from the first day on i've been buying/selling shares and it's one of the things that keeps me interested and keeps me playing. That and my newspaper of course. I don't know if i've achieved a "LOT" since i'm competing with guys like chillyzeis ...but i've done well and haven't lost anything so far so i guess I must be lucky.

5.Moving on to some promotion. Before the interview you seemed very excited about the Interview with ipsiart. Whats so special about it and what should we expect in the other parts ?

Oh yes, this is the first interview ever i was actually nervous publishing about - because it was so big and we worked (and still are working) on it so much that i just couldn't see it fail. But right now as we're making this interview with you, chrisss , the 1st part is still in global and is probably going to make my personal vote-record not just for an interview but all kinds of articles.
I'm glad you asked me about the up-coming parts because although i haven't finished the 2nd part yet it has much more interesting questions in my own opinion than the 1st part did. First part was a bit "safe" imo, and the 2nd part will be mainly about some desicions Admin has made in e-sim history and what Ipsiart thinks of those decisions.

6. Cant wait to see part 2,3. About your citizenship, how do you like Lithuania? Will you continue travelling or have you found the perfect place ?

Nah, i think i wrote an article about it too. I love lithuania though, i have many friends here and i've been working with lithuanians basically from the first day since joining the game. I was 1st president of Estonia to serve a full term and one thing i'm proud of (when looking back to ALL my terms) is that i insisted on keeping friendly relations with Lithuania.

7.And for the last question, on a more serious tone... You have been criticised for your addiction on cuban cigarettes and pretty much nobody likes you... How do you react to your "haters" ?

I usually just light my cigar and cast some smoke rings on them.

8.Thank you for your time Orlandio ... Hope I dont get too many unsubs for this

I will ask friends of Snookie to unsub you... just for kicks. I've heared they like that.

This was his request... I promise

Regards,
chrisss

About the game:

USA as a world power? In E-Sim it is possible!

In E-Sim we have a huge, living world, which is a mirror copy of the Earth. Well, maybe not completely mirrored, because the balance of power in this virtual world looks a bit different than in real life. In E-Sim, USA does not have to be a world superpower, It can be efficiently managed as a much smaller country that has entrepreneurial citizens that support it's foundation. Everything depends on the players themselves and how they decide to shape the political map of the game.

Work for the good of your country and see it rise to an empire.

Activities in this game are divided into several modules. First is the economy as a citizen in a country of your choice you must work to earn money, which you will get to spend for example, on food or purchase of weapons which are critical for your progress as a fighter. You will work in either private companies which are owned by players or government companies which are owned by the state. After progressing in the game you will finally get the opportunity to set up your own business and hire other players. If it prospers, we can even change it into a joint-stock company and enter the stock market and get even more money in this way.

In E-Sim, international wars are nothing out of the ordinary.

Become an influential politician.

The second module is a politics. Just like in real life politics in E-Sim are an extremely powerful tool that can be used for your own purposes. From time to time there are elections in the game in which you will not only vote, but also have the ability to run for the head of the party you're in. You can also apply for congress, where once elected you will be given the right to vote on laws proposed by your fellow congress members or your president and propose laws yourself. Voting on laws is important for your country as it can shape the lives of those around you. You can also try to become the head of a given party, and even take part in presidential elections and decide on the shape of the foreign policy of a given state (for example, who to declare war on). Career in politics is obviously not easy and in order to succeed in it, you have to have a good plan and compete for the votes of voters.

You can go bankrupt or become a rich man while playing the stock market.

The international war.

The last and probably the most important module is military. In E-Sim, countries are constantly fighting each other for control over territories which in return grant them access to more valuable raw materials. For this purpose, they form alliances, they fight international wars, but they also have to deal with, for example, uprisings in conquered countries or civil wars, which may explode on their territory. You can also take part in these clashes, although you are also given the opportunity to lead a life as a pacifist who focuses on other activities in the game (for example, running a successful newspaper or selling products).

At the auction you can sell or buy your dream inventory.

E-Sim is a unique browser game. It's creators ensured realistic representation of the mechanisms present in the real world and gave all power to the players who shape the image of the virtual Earth according to their own. So come and join them and help your country achieve its full potential.
