Hello America,
I write to you often, but I wonder how many of you know who I am, so I’d like to take some time to properly introduce myself. I have been known as EmmanueI Goldstein, Tosh OPoint, and (in a similar game) WahooBob. Between the other game and this one, I have been playing on and off since the fall of 2008. I have served as a mentor, ambassador to other countries, platoon leader, cabinet secretary, member of Congress, and even one term as President.
Some of my best memories of the game have come from late-night chats on IRC with the friends I have made across the country and around the world. I can remember one night staying up until 4AM chatting with leaders in Australia and advising them about battle strategy. The next morning I was nearly falling asleep in the shower when I realized: “Oh no, I have to hurry because I’m going to miss my flight to Australia!” Only I wasn't late to the airport, just school. It made me laugh, but also realize how invested in this game I can be.
Other great times were had while I was hosting and producing live podcasts centered around these games. I have had the great opportunity to work with Jewitt, Kyle321n, and Bradley Reala in the other game, along with Liquid Oxygen, Asuka Langley Soru, and Lich98. I had the pleasure of interviewing dozens of presidents and foreign leaders along with taking calls and comments from many of the active players spanning the course of about 5 years.
I have taken several breaks from the game, most recently from September 2013 through May 2014. I returned a little over one month ago to help the country recover from an invasion by the Philippines. I have had the pleasure of reconnecting with several old friends and taken on a leadership role in Congress when the speaker is away. When the current Philippine invasion began, I offered my advice and assistance to our current president. Unfortunately, his leadership has been almost nonexistent through this crisis. Eventually I gave up waiting for official orders and simply jumped into action by coordinating attacks in the IRC Strikes channel, starting resistance wars, and directing priorities. I was given access to the DOD Organization and have been actively distributing those supplies as often as I can be online. I have drafted the assistance of Sir Hypnotoad, Kitmen (Mittens on IRC), and others to help in leading our battles when possible. I am proud of the work that we have done together to lead the US out of occupation and take the fight to the doorstep of the Philippines in South Korea and Taiwan.
It is this need for American leadership that has led me to decide that I will run for the office of Country President this month. I have seen the success and prosperity that our nation can wield when it is run well, but I have also seen the devastation we can endure when our elected officials are merely figureheads asleep at the wheel. I will be working over the next few days to recruit a cabinet of advisers and government leaders to move our community forward. They will be expected to do more than hold a title – because this country deserves men and women who work every day to make our nation better. They will distribute food and guns in our IRC channel, they will work with other countries to forge strong alliances, they will mentor our newest citizens, and they will reach outside of this game to draw more players into our community.
I am asking you to support me in this run if you believe that, under the right leadership, America can be the best country in the world. I know we have seen it before, and with your vote, we will surely see it again.

About the game:
USA as a world power? In E-Sim it is possible!
In E-Sim we have a huge, living world, which is a mirror copy of the Earth. Well, maybe not completely mirrored, because the balance of power in this virtual world looks a bit different than in real life. In E-Sim, USA does not have to be a world superpower, It can be efficiently managed as a much smaller country that has entrepreneurial citizens that support it's foundation. Everything depends on the players themselves and how they decide to shape the political map of the game.
Work for the good of your country and see it rise to an empire.
Activities in this game are divided into several modules. First is the economy as a citizen in a country of your choice you must work to earn money, which you will get to spend for example, on food or purchase of weapons which are critical for your progress as a fighter. You will work in either private companies which are owned by players or government companies which are owned by the state. After progressing in the game you will finally get the opportunity to set up your own business and hire other players. If it prospers, we can even change it into a joint-stock company and enter the stock market and get even more money in this way.
In E-Sim, international wars are nothing out of the ordinary.
Become an influential politician.
The second module is a politics. Just like in real life politics in E-Sim are an extremely powerful tool that can be used for your own purposes. From time to time there are elections in the game in which you will not only vote, but also have the ability to run for the head of the party you're in. You can also apply for congress, where once elected you will be given the right to vote on laws proposed by your fellow congress members or your president and propose laws yourself. Voting on laws is important for your country as it can shape the lives of those around you. You can also try to become the head of a given party, and even take part in presidential elections and decide on the shape of the foreign policy of a given state (for example, who to declare war on). Career in politics is obviously not easy and in order to succeed in it, you have to have a good plan and compete for the votes of voters.
You can go bankrupt or become a rich man while playing the stock market.
The international war.
The last and probably the most important module is military. In E-Sim, countries are constantly fighting each other for control over territories which in return grant them access to more valuable raw materials. For this purpose, they form alliances, they fight international wars, but they also have to deal with, for example, uprisings in conquered countries or civil wars, which may explode on their territory. You can also take part in these clashes, although you are also given the opportunity to lead a life as a pacifist who focuses on other activities in the game (for example, running a successful newspaper or selling products).
At the auction you can sell or buy your dream inventory.
E-Sim is a unique browser game. It's creators ensured realistic representation of the mechanisms present in the real world and gave all power to the players who shape the image of the virtual Earth according to their own. So come and join them and help your country achieve its full potential.
